Tent holiday accommodation in Central New York

Alex was a wonderful host! The campsite was exactly as described and the directions were easy to follow. Alex was there when I arrived to show me around, and he even offered to help take stuff to my campsite. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Beautiful area and felt very welcomed. The wood fire pizza was great. The pictures dont do justice for this place. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Leslie's North River Hobby Farm has an incredible charm, from the energy of the land to the craftsmanship and architecture of the buildings. We were only there for one day but the short stay was perfect to finish off our camping trip. Our glamping tent had a heater in it to take the edge off the cold nights, and we really enjoyed using the custom hot tub. Everything was kept clean, including the kitchenette and bathhouse spaces. The Farm had a nice communal vibe and we got to connect and meet some of the other guests staying there. All in all, I hope we can come back here again and stay for longer to enjoy more of the surrounding lands and offerings.

A simple yet excellent place to stay close to Ithaca, with easy access to a variety of outdoor activities nearby. Susan is a very friendly host, and even cooked delicious zucchini pancakes for breakfast at the weekend!

We can’t recommend a stay at Laura’s property more highly! She has created a magical oasis at Gatherwild. The property and its surroundings are stunning, and offer plenty to do and see without ever leaving (beautiful walking trails, friendly farm animals, vegetable gardens, games and crafts)— our kids were in heaven. The location is also ideal, close to lots of great food, culture, and nature. Sleeping quarters were clean and comfy, and the communal kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked. It made for a seamless glamping experience with our kids. Laura was a wonderful host and we hope to come back soon!

Really well kept beautiful area right outside of Ithaca. I would put on my list of off the beaten path gems. I was not sure what to expect, but the site and bathrooms/shower rooms were extremely clean and showers had hot running water. Susan is very organized and keeps things in a way so that your trip will go smoothly.

this place was absolutely amazing. it's extremely peaceful and Leslie has the place set up to make you feel right at home. we will definitely be returning to stay again.

We had a great stay, it was a great place to escape the busy life and just relax. Amy is a wonderful host she responded immediately if we needed something. We will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing!! More than just a tent; a peaceful oasis! Decorated wonderfully, the lights around the yard gave off such a warm glow. The outhouse was fabulous, more like an outdoor spa! The shower is nothing short of luxurious! We sat by the fire every night just listening to the birds & crickets, watching the fireflies come out, truly a wonderful place & we cannot wait to go back! Jess & Dan are attentive, gracious hosts, full of info about the area! Already sent the listing to some friends who were asking about it from my photos!

Lindsay's airbnb was great! It was so nice to relax in nature on such a beautiful property! My dog loved it too :) It had everything we needed. Also, if you hear loud, strumming noises in the night, its the frogs!! I'm from the west coast and haven't heard rubberband frogs before, so I was a little freaked for a minute until I realized what the sound was coming from haha.

Had a great stay. The place was super clean and had everything we needed. Even though it’s technically a tent, it felt more like a nice cabin—well set up, organized, and way more comfortable than expected. The view was great, the kitchen had all the basics, and the full bathroom was a solid bonus. Definitely didn’t feel like we were roughing it. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a chill, hassle-free spot.

this place was a great last minute spot for my husband and I when we didn't have the kids with us. we brought our dog and had such a nice peaceful night. The stream and pond are amazing. we made steak and asparagus on the grill. overall great stay

Our night at Lee’s farm was magnificent! Beautiful views, a full moon, and we stayed cozy in the tent with the propane heater ( 32 degree night). Lee was a great host.. gave us a few recommendations for our evening meal; great spot!

One of the best campsites we’ve ever camped! The tent and campsite were super comfortable and had amazing views of the valley. We loved the adventure; the rugged path up the hill and the isolation among the Christmas trees. Even the coyotes howling and owls added to the experience! We hope to visit again someday! 😊

The view alone was worth it. Next time I'll leave time for and book a session in the sauna!

"This RV was a gem! The location was secluded and beautiful, and the RV was clean and well-equipped. Beds in the tent are super comfortable. Lucas was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the stone fire pit he built for open fire cooking. Highly recommend!"

We had such a lovely stay at Mina’s place. We truly immersed in nature and the outdoor sauna was a beautiful touch. We will absolutely be back.

Great spot to camp without having to set up a camp site yourself. So many waterfalls within 10-20 minutes away.

Booked the tent but the weather was worse than I anticipated. I had to stay in a hotel for the night but Lisa was able to upgrade me to a cabin at no extra charge for the rest of my stay which I was so grateful for. The place was quite, private and really nice. The comunal space was cool and the cabin itself was very clean and cosy. I will definitely be back!

We recently stayed at this wonderful tent rental near New Baltimore, NY, and it was an incredible experience. The location offers great views of the Catskills and a genuine connection with nature, far from any noise or light pollution. The tent is cozy and well-equipped with a comfortable queen-size bed, Adirondack chairs, etc… and a bench table set up next to a wood-burning grill, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors. Hiking trails on the property were very peaceful. The 2-hour and 15-minute drive from NYC was very accessible, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway!
