Holiday rentals with breakfast in Chania

This is a gem in the heart of the old city. We loved staying here and walking everywhere! Close to the bus stop for day trips too which was so nice. Would gladly return to this spot!

La casa está sobre la playa. Es bastante íntima, aunque la comparten tres o 4 casas y hay un muelle del que parten los pescadores. En muchas oportunidades estuvimos perfectamente solos. La casa está equipada para descubrir el mar y el ambiente: hay canoas, equipo para bucear un poco, los zapatitos de goma para las piedras, bicicletas... Encontramos la heladera y las alacenas llenas y no faltaba nada, desde el shampoo al detergente para el lavarropas, del blanqueador a las toallas para la playa. Claramente no es un alojamiento para quien quiere estar en la ciudad e ir a negocios a cada momento. Ivannys y Ángela se ofrecen a reponer todo lo que se consume o a traer cosas (¡nos dejaron el vino y el aceite que hacen en la familia!). Hay un minimarket a 10 minutos pero para compras hay que moverse un poco más. La casa tiene muchos rincones y salones para todo: charlar, tomar sol, hacer un aperitivo, cenar o simplemente mirar el atardecer.

Leo was incredibly friendly and highly responsive throughout our stay. The house was spotless upon arrival and generously stocked with bottled water, coffee, tea, and fresh fruit – a very thoughtful touch. We also received a detailed list of 30 different things to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our visit. The flexible checkout time was also much appreciated. I can definitely recommend staying at one of their properties.

Superbe logement dans un petit village paisible. Très bonnes tavernes accessibles a pied. Le logement est superbe, la décoration soignée, la literie très bonne et tout est très propre! Accueil sympathique. Notre séjour était trop court! Avva répond rapidement aux messages. Je recommande fortement cette maison!

Lorsque nous sommes arrivées à la maison, alors que l'on avait vue toutes les photos, on a quand même été époustouflé par le magnifique jardin, la piscine et la maison très spacieuse ainsi que les terrasses extérieures. Tout est vraiment très beau malgré une arrivée en pleine tempête de sable qui à tout recouvert de poussière. Cristos est très réactif pour répondre aux messages que l'on peut faire. Tout est prévu pour une arrivée sympathique... jus de fruit et de quoi faire sandwich dans le frigo et le matin de notre départ le père de Cristos nous as offert des gâteaux, un grand merci. Vraiment le top du top.

Le logement correspond totalement à la description et aux photos. À noter qu'il s'agit bien d'une kitchenette ( micro-ondes plus une plaque électrique) et que restaurant familial n'est ouvert que le week-end hors saison d'été. Les routes des environs sont très belles !

We loved the house. It is charming and very pleasant. A short distance from a wonderful beach (15mn by car).

Hands down, one of our favorite (if not our favorite) Airbnbs of all time! This house is absolutely stunning! Beautiful patio with so much space, walking into the patio from the street felt like a little oasis. We really enjoyed eating outside, doing our morning workouts, and watching the kids swim in the pool. The pool was absolutely fabulous, such a treat to have! And the rooftop patio was also so nice, a peaceful place to read a book and see the sea. The kitchen was super functional. The house is so beautifully decorated. SO much space! Manos is the best host we have ever had! He truly made us feel welcomed, far exceeding anything we have experienced in any another Airbnb. His welcome gift was SO generous and nice. The house has a private parking spot which is gold. You will want a car if you are staying here, I did walk into town a couple times, but it takes about 25/30 minutes to walk. We didn’t want to leave. 100% recommend this house, you will love it!

Η Νίκη είναι μια πολύ φιλική και ευγενική οικοδέσποινα. Μας εξυπηρέτησε σε πάρα πολλά πράγματα. Πρότεινε που να πάμε στα Χανιά και τι δραστηριότητες να κάνουμε. Το σπίτι βρίσκεται στο κέντρο των Χανίων, 5 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το λιμάνι. Γύρω από το σπίτι υπάρχουν όλα τα απαραίτητα καταστήματα όπως και φαρμακείο. Ήταν πεντακάθαρο και παρέχει όλες τις συσκευές και αξεσουάρ περιποίησης σε άριστη κατάσταση. Επίσης η Νίκη είχε εφοδιάσει με διάφορα τοπικά προϊόντα όπως μέλι, ελιές, λάδι και φυσικά κρητική ρακί. Σίγουρα αν επισκεφθούμε ξανά τα Χανιά θα προτιμήσουμε το σπίτι της Νίκης. Το συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα είτε για ζευγάρια είτε για τετραμελή οικογένεια. Σε ευχαριστούμε πολύ Νίκη!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer entsprach dem Inserat. Vom Balkon aus hat man seitlich Meerblick. Sorina ist immer erreichbar und sehr zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer wurde 2x in 8 Tagen gereinigt, mit frischen Handtüchern und Bettwäsche. Bleddar hat uns den Transfer vom Flughafen organisiert, was super geklappt hat. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

Je remercie de tout mon cœur Zianna, c'est une personne très souriante, très gentille et très arrangeante, je la remercie pour son accueil et pour ce séjour. L'appartement est très agréable, propre et très bien situé, la plage est au bout de la rue avec de nombreux restaurants. Nous avons passé un très bon moment, je le recommande vivement. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

El anfitrión muy amable y atento. El piso estaba tal cual indicaba y, sobre todo, limpio. Es cierto que el apartamento era algo antiguo, pero no fue problema ya que cumplió con nuestras expectativas ya que estuvimos muy cómodos. Además, respecto a la localización, era ideal ya que se encuentra a unos 15 minutos andando del centro/puerto, con lo que podías moverte sin problemas a pie. Un acierto haberlo escogido.

Nous avons séjourné pendant 5 jours chez Natasa et Kostas, en avril. Un appartement confortable avec beaucoup de commodités. Une trousse de bienvenue pour le déjeuner (pain, lait, café, confiture et beurre) ainsi que du vin ! Beaucoup d’essentiels pour le séjour (produits de base). Il ne manquait rien. C’était parfait. La communication se faisait très facilement . L’appartement est situé sur une jolie rue face aux remparts byzantins. La mer et le port sont au bout de la rue. Toute la vieille cité est à proximité à pied. Nous avons choisi un stationnement payant surveillé à 17 euros pour 24 hrs. Cela en valait grandement la peine. C’est à moins de 5 minutes à pied. Nous avons adoré.

We spent a wonderful time at Epameinondas suite ! First of all, the room is really spacious, clean and well arranged. It includes every basic equipments that you might need. Two AC units are included, even though we used only the main one, which was sufficient. Epameinondas is a great host, we loved his warm welcome and general hospitality. Every morning you’ll get a tasty, tailor made breakfast, which we loved. At the end of it, we were given a little sample of local sweet specialities. The swimming pool is not crowded and clean at any time. Epameinondas and his staff made our stay in the west part of Crete even more enjoyable than expected. Would 100% recommend. This is about our 3rd stay at Manolis Apartments. Our apartment was quite spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The cleaner comes in every day, the whole place is extremely well looked after and managed. We always feel very relaxed and happy there. It is just a short walk from the sea front and many great restaurants to choose from. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sofort wohl gefühlt. Besonders das Frühstücke war sehr reichhaltig und liebevoll zubereitet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und nett.

Schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage zu den Bergen, Strand, See und Stadt. Unterkunft besticht durch ihre ruhige Lage und einem sehr netten Housekeeping. Ich werde wieder kommen :)

Hotel carino fronte mare, direttamente sulla spiaggia. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile. Camera pulita e dotata di cucinotto e un balcone perimetrale molto comodo. Struttura silenziosa e attenta alle misure di prevenzione Covid. Parcheggio gratuito disponibile in loco e colazione buona, varia (dolce/salata) ed abbondante. Super consigliato!

The lady at the reception is very pleasant. She explained what we should see and how to spend our days during the vacation. She helped us navigate the area. The accommodation was clean. The furniture in the accommodation was old but well-preserved. The style of the interior is Medieval, but the accommodation is simple and functional. Someone who appreciates this style of interior design would enjoy it.

This is a family owned hotel, ideal to experience Cretan hospitality and the beautiful beaches and lands of Chania! Giorgos and his father were amazing by all means. They welcomed us with treats and helped us find local restaurants and information. Very close to Chania town, amazing beaches like Falassarna and next to the port for daily cruises to Balos and Elafonisi. The rooms were spot clean, spacious with amazing view towards the sea. Giorgos and his father prepared us freshly cooked tyropita and omelette for breakfast which we enjoyed by the beach. Great opportunity for relaxing vacation in Chania! Thank you! Tip: do not miss to dine at Akrogiali taverna for fresh fish nearby!

The apartment is amazingly good value and exactly as advertised: clean, bright and comfortable. We loved our short stay here and would be very happy to return. We were made to feel so welcome and offered help and guidance throughout our stay from the staff.

Logement confortable situé dans un bel environnement naturel, calme et paisible.

Konstantinos ist ein großartiger, sehr gastfreundlicher Mensch. Ein leckeres, reichhaltiges Frühstück mit einem Kaffee nach Wahl, frisch gepresstem O-Saft, einem Omelette mit Salat und einem leckeren Dressing und Joghurt mit Früchten ist inklusive. Sehr lecker und ein wunderbarer Start in den Tag, zumal man es im Freien auf der Terrasse des Botanischen einnimmt. :-)

Perfect location. Also easy to park nearby the hotel. The host was very friendly. Her breakfast was very fresh too :)
