Guesthouse holiday rentals in Chatsworth, Los Angeles

The host Linda was very responsive. We were evacuated due to the Palisades and other wild fires, and we were very disappointed! But Linda called in the middle of the night telling us we had to leave. Power went out eventually in the unit and we returned quickly to retrieve all of our belongings. We were able to go and stay with friends we were supposed to be visiting. Since the situation was so terrible, we arranged to leave early for our second destination and Linda was very gracious about refunding our early departure and Airb&b was very helpful and refunded our entire stay. Hopefully, when we return for our son’s wedding in May we will have the full experience!

Our stay at the guest house was outstanding and our hosts, Paul & Candice were excellent hosts. We really appreciated the detailed instructions for gaining access to the property and a book full of instructions for how everything worked. The guest house was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped for all of our needs. The location was perfect with Larchmont Village being a block away. Being dog lovers, our daily visit from their dog, Sophia, was something we looked forward to. I would not hesitate staying here again.

This was a great place to stay in a convenient location. David is such a sweetheart. It smelled so clean when I arrived. I loved the backyard area. It was so peaceful to sit out there. I also loved the bathroom lightening and shower. It is near LAX so there is some noise from the overhead planes but the location is helpful for the area. Take caution in this neighborhood at night.

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. Andrew was very communicative and friendly. The place was clean, had nice amenities (including coffee and a French press) and had large windows with a lovely view of downtown. In the morning, we used Andrew’s local recommendation list and walked up to Runyon Canyon, which we enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a lovely cottage with beautiful landscaping. Easy to get in and out. Quiet. Michael was a great host and welcomed us when we arrived. The welcome sign was a special touch!

Sara and Sam were great hosts and their place was fantastic. We really appreciated their clear and responsive communication, would stay again!

Had a lovely three week stay stay at Alice and Eric's lovely guesthouse / cottage in Topanga! Very quiet and peaceful setting, guesthouse was private and spacious with everything you need, and I really enjoyed reading and hanging out on the patio and in the garden area on sunny days. So many great hiking trails nearby and it's only a 5-7 minute drive into Topanga Village or an easy 10-12 minutes into Calabasas and Woodland Hills where there are plenty of great grocery stores and restaurants. Wonderful calm and serene alternative place for a short or long stay compared to the many overly busy, crowded areas of greater Los Angeles. Highly recommend! Very quiet and peaceful space, with a nice area to sit outside. The neighborhood is cute and walkable, so we could easily stroll to a great coffee shop and an Italian deli. Hosts are very responsive. You do walk through their backyard to get to the separate place, rarely encountered children and pets so it wasn’t awkward. The dog Huxley is friendly and rambunctious, so if you don’t want him visiting make sure to close your gate well.

Megan's tiny house is not that tiny. I love the place! There is nothing to hate about it, if youre in LA you should be driving cause this place is not accessible via walking but you get the view, the peace after exploring the busy LA. Will definitely come back here if im in LA.

This place is absolutely stunning, with one of the most beautiful front and back gardens I’ve ever seen. The backyard was a peaceful spot to relax, and the pool added quite a bit of luxury. I didn’t meet Geoff, but Daren was incredibly warm and welcoming—easily one of the best hosts I’ve had, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and giving space. Has the basic kitchen essentials, hot plate in a drawer, kettle, toaster oven, microwave, wine fridge; it’s PLENTY for a short stay. The guest house feels closely connected to the main home, and the vibe was nothing but positive! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat—10/10 experience

I must say that this place was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in! I would ever go as far as to say the pictures doesn’t do it justice. It was an absolute beauty, with a huge hot tub deck complete with a covered outside bar with a grill and room for 10+ guests. The guest itself was spotless and well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. There is even a washer and dryer inside the unit. I would most definitely recommend staying here and will be booking a stay here again. Thank you Tracy for your near-immediate responses, welcoming hospitality, and quaint accommodations!

I was in town for a few days to help my son after surgery. AeRee’s guesthouse was a great spot and accommodated both of us. The beds were super comfortable (even the sofa bed!) and the location very convenient. AeRee was wonderful to communicate with as well.

This guest house located in the far back of the yard has a semiprivate feel. Top notch new build. Free coffee and creamers. Full size appliances except for washer and dryer. The deck at the guest house is perfect for hanging out in the afternoon if the weather is good.

The place was fantastic. A little tricky to get to especially if coming from Malibu in the fog! Worth the trip. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a great stay, we liked that we had off street parking. Most importantly we traveled with our 2 dogs and they were comfortable in this home. This neighborhood is great for walking day and night we felt safe walking around with our dogs. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Guadalupe’s place for 10 nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was impeccably clean, thoughtfully furnished, and tucked away just enough to provide a peaceful escape from the busy pace of Los Angeles. In our opinion, the location was ideal—quiet and safe, yet conveniently situated for getting anywhere we needed to go. Guadalupe and her co-hosts were communicative, accommodating, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. This was truly one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again on our next trip to LA.

The property was in the hills of Topanga Canyon. Quiet except for the bird symphony. Beautiful surroundings and very private. Lynn was extremely accessible and house was clean and well equipped. I'll be back soon!

i have stayed at Lucy's place twice now, and it is always a pleasure to be there. her place is clean and so very peaceful. It's a wonderful retreat!

This was easily one my best Airbnb experiences in recent years. It was a perfect spot for a solo traveler looking for a quiet space and neighborhood that is also not far away from what LA has to offer. Will was very communicative, accessible and accommodating. I would highly recommend this spot and I would stay again!

I’ve stayed in a lot of AirBNBs and this was the nicest. The cottage looked exactly as listed and had all the amenities I needed. I really appreciated the flexible check out. I’ll be back for sure!
