Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Chittenden County

Mark’s place is immaculate and very cozy. The woodwork is beautiful and there are many interesting and charming touches throughout. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. I noticed comments about the outside stairs in other reviews. We had no problem navigating the stairs and they are actually easier than they look. Mark was very gracious and flexible with checking in and out and being accessible. Overall it was a great experience.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view with all the amenities you need for a weekend away. Difficult spot for a swim but nice to be right on the water. Great sized bedrooms but would caution that there are some windows without shades so it’s difficult to sleep past sunrise. The parking area is pretty small, we had a Tahoe and it stuck out into the road a little bit. Luckily it’s not a busy road. My husband and I stayed with our 4 month old and father in law. Would not recommend this place for a baby since there isn’t a spot that stays dark enough for the pack and play. Also not a great place for anyone with mobility issues if they want to get down to the water. We enjoyed our stay but this would be a perfect place for four adults, with a sedan, who like to wake up with the sun :)

Thank you, Palmer for an enjoyable stay at your beautiful lake house. We came up for a college tour of UVM and the location was perfect. It took us only 20 minutes to get there and then at the end of our day we came back to relax and unwind at your comfy and spotless home. Every room was beautifully furnished , comfortable and really just felt homey. The kids enjoyed hanging out downstairs watching movies while the adults enjoyed cocktails and talking all while taking in the amazing view of the lake. We had a wonderful time and would certainly return. Only two minor issues, one of which just might have been our own unfamiliarity with the home. The living room gets really warm and even though we turned down the thermostat, it kept creeping up. But it could have even been the fact that it was so sunny one of the days we were there. A minor issue. Outside, the railing to get down from the deck to the yard is a bit wobbly in places and may be due to be replaced soon. Also, no big deal.

Extremely responsive! We had a couple of minor issues and they responded within 15 min both times. Not only did they fix our issue but they were engaging and friendly, offering suggestions on restaurants and little known treasures to explore.

Anne has a lovely home and garden. The layout is very nice and the beds were very comfortable. She was also very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time.

We had a great stay at this lovely Airbnb in Burlington. It was just the right size for our family of four. The kitchen has everything you need. And beds are very comfortable. Location is perfect for exploring both Burlington and areas to the south. Daryl is a great host!

we had a lovely stay. Kent was friendly, responsive, and his place was perfect for our needs and exceeded our expectations. there were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the house. while the location is not walkable to downtown/Church Street (which we knew before we booked), the surroundings were lovely and it was very easy to get to and from downtown from the house. we would definitely stay again next time we're in Burlington.

Perfect place for a larger group and great location for being right in the middle of all great things in Burlington.

Staying at Gail's place was a treat. I came durring the off-season which was quiet and peaceful. Most of the resort area is closed outside winter and summer but there is a small market open during the day for convieniences. It's also a short drive away from many small towns. Standouts were Stowe and Waterbury which were wonderful to visit. There are so many trails to checkout in the area. Hiking up the mountain just outside the apartment is great and has an amazing view at sunset. Camels hump and various trails in the notch were awesome. It was even close enough where I took a day trip into the White Mountains. I stayed for 27 days. Durring the week I work remotely. The internet was enough for large conference calls with video during the day and I had no issues. In the evening there is a noticible slowdown. The Wifi is shared throughout the resort. The kitchen was easy to work with. And when you open the balcony door there is a small stream that offers fantastic white noise.

I reserved Nancy’s place as a gift for my parents’ 70th birthday, and they loved it! They particularly appreciated the peaceful surroundings, beautiful backyard, and Nancy’s hospitality.

Beautiful upstairs apartment in a quiet and peaceful location. It was only 5 minute drive to Church Street and it was within walking distance to Red Rocks Park which is gorgeous! The apartment had a very cute bird theme with lots of details in all the nooks and crannies. Beds and sheets were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the clean hot-tub! We appreciated all of the kitchen goodies and will definitely be coming back! Thank you for sharing your space with us 😊

Mac's place was on another level in terms of uniqueness. The simple exterior hides a beautiful and eclectic interior. The kitchen skylights and backsplash, the exposed wood beams in the bedroom, the nice furniture, the deck overlooking the wonderfully cared-for backyard, the unique lighting, the rental's open concept—all of it was amazing and luxurious. But none of it beats the shining highlight of this rental: the bathroom. The bathroom was one of the nicest I've been in, housing an amazing design, a great shower, and a large and comfortable bathtub. Ahhh, that bathtub. It alone made Mac's place worth it. Other than that, the rental was super clean and very walkable to downtown/Church Street. Mac gave us privacy but communicated easily when needed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I were back in Burlington.

We had a wonderful stay at the Monty's place -- the apartment was well stocked with many thoughtful items, the area is very peaceful and near to outdoor activities, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Amy’s place offered us a wonderful, relaxing stay at Monkton, with its stunning view of the mountains and peaceful surroundings. The clean, nicely furnished apartment was lovely and cozy. Amy was a great host. She was warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Thank You Amy for the delicious apple cake chunks.

Definitely stay here! ALL the reviews are spot on. Close to everything so you can walk or easy Uber ride. Off street parking is huge! The bed is super comfortable. It's bigger and cheaper than a hotel in the area. The bike trail is close. Waterfront Park is close. It is so convenient yet quiet. The neighbors are met were super friendly. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need. Coffee, eggs treats, pasta etc etc !! A huge snack basket. Bathroom supplies!! We wished we were able to stay another night. It's as nice and nicer than the pics. Really plenty of room for two people for a night/weekend/week stay! If you need more space, Abbott has others in the same area. Not a question , stay at one of his places! I can't say enough. I know the area and have family there, but Abbott is great with suggestions or questions. Oh.. he has multiple phone chargers there. We forgot ours. I am not doing it justice! Stay and find out for yourself like we did! A+++

This space above the garage is a total gem—beautiful timber framing, cozy space, and character. Everything feels carefully chosen with full of charm. There is a sense of curating the space with just the right pieces to make it truly unique. The owner is clearly a skilled craftsman; the mix of old tools, recycled materials, and vintage touches makes the whole place feel special. Thoughtful, warm. Would absolutely stay again!

Loree was really great and responsive! She seems to really care! If we had one negative about the place it’s that you can hear the neighbors pretty well. Particularly when they leave their unit early in the AM. Otherwise, four of us spent a week there quite comfortably.

Great view of the mountains across from the trails! Beautiful sunset from the balcony. Jetted bathtubs were appreciated too!

Really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment has beautiful views of Bolton and was clean and well-supplied. The host was extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions. Unfortunately when we entered, the sofa pillows and kitchen did smell like wet dog but it resolved after leaving some windows open. Additionally, just wanted to mention that the road leading up to the unit had many potholes so just something to be aware of especially if there is bad weather but wasn’t a huge deal for us! Overall, loved our stay and would love to come back here again!

This was our second stay at this place and we love it. We've been going to Smuggs for over 20 years and the location of this condo is exactly where you want to be! You can walk to the village, lifts, pool and fun zone in the blink of an eye, no need to take a shuttle!! If you are going up the hill to the daytime tubing, it's a quick call to the on demand shuttle that will take you right there. Thank you Allyson for the responsove communication and consideration. so glad we found your place!

We noticed this listing at first mostly due to its location. The condo is close to multiple Mad River Valley ski locations and it is near friends of ours that live locally in Vermont. Once we got there however, we realized that the condo is perfect for our family of four. The place was super clean and comfortable and gave us a nice place to eat/sleep before heading out for the day. The hosts were super responsive and proactive communicating rules and instructions for use of the place. Would highly recommend and would certainly consider staying again.

Fantastic stay! We came up for a soccer tournament as a family of 6 and had a lot of space for everyone. The house is nice and clean, within walking distance of coffee/restaurants. Madeline was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend the stay!

Fantastic place to stay just north of Burlington! Colchester was beautiful and this condo is so close to the bike paths and causeway. Beautiful spot!
