Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Choctawhatchee Bay

This is a beautiful home! A really fabulous find on Airbnb! It’s obvious that Kevin and Jennifer have put a lot of thought and effort into making this a great experience and it was! From the incredible welcome guide, with everything we needed to know, bikes, and exercise equipment in the garage. It’s part of a lovely safe neighborhood right on the beach, with just a short two minute walk to the sand. Everything we needed was provided, with plenty of bathroom amenities and even cooking items. The coffee was delicious and the beds were comfortable! We all slept amazing, and enjoyed so many long walks on the beach and around town. It is a super local area, with amazing dining options. It is rare to find hosts as helpful and thoughtful as Jennifer and Kevin. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this home for your next stay! It far exceeded our previous experience in the same neighborhood in another home.

We had a blast and stayed in a beautiful home with wonderful hosts. The home was clean Melinda and Mark are great, and considerable from leaving snacks, water, and toiletries. Extra blankets and plenty of towels, beach chairs and toys! Thank you again.

Beaches and Dreams was absolutely perfect! Super clean, cozy, and in such a great location close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The host was so friendly and easy to communicate with, which made everything stress-free. I’d happily stay here again!

The Charleston house is AMAZING! It’s perfect for families with teens needing to be entertained. The community pool is literally right across the street and the beach is a super short ride on the golf cart. Restaurants and shopping are minutes away making the location perfect! The hosts made check in/out and communication VERY EASY and stress free. This is one of the best places we have gotten on Airbnb. Thank you Matthew & Sarah for helping us have a perfect vacation!

Reginas place was extremely beautiful, inviting, and most importantly comfortable. We really enjoyed the keyless entry as it was very convenient. The beach is right across the street & the views from the balcony are stunning. We really enjoyed sitting out on tbe balcony in the evenings. The kids loved not only the beach, but the pool and hot tub on site too. All the amentities provided such as laundry pods, snacks, a whole chest full of beach necessities, beach chairs, etc. You need it? Reginas got it. We so much enjoyed our stay in Destin and hope to return in the future.

We had 8 teenagers and 2 adults! Plenty of room for everyone! Nicole was always super helpful, if we had any questions. It was a home away from home. Lots to do close by, having the golf carts was a great addition. We will definitely book again next summer!! You won’t be disappointed with this Air BnB, book it:))

We traveled to the Destin area for a very quick visit and didn’t have much time to spend at Bonnie and David’s home but we would definitely book with them again. The apartment was extremely clean and inviting. The home is conveniently located close to the beach, restaurants and shops but tucked away on a quiet and private lot away from the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic and over populated tourist spots. We really felt like we were at home. The only problem we had was finding the driveway, because it was very late when we arrived and very dark. The GPS showed the location of the home right in the middle of the street and in front of the school. We eventually found the drive and made it home! We would definitely recommend Bonnie and David as your next host. I noticed they have several homes and I’m sure all of them are just as nice! Thank you.

1000/10 it’s was absolutely amazing. This is the only Airbnb I found that would give me and my bf a chance at 18 y/o every other Airbnb you have to be at least 21. It’s in the middle of Destin. So every little thing was no more than a 10 min drive. The beach is walkable but you can also pay $0-$6 for parking (depending on which part you wanna park) it’s was clean and absolutely everything we needed for an Airbnb. They even had a little guide of stuff to do. Something that I didn’t see was that it’s on the 3rd floor. (Which we didn’t have a problem with it but someone might) Everything was clean. The pool goes as deep as 5ft so it’s not a little kiddie pool with only 3ft max. Parking was open plenty of space to park. I probably won’t stay anywhere else if we go back to Destin. Not to mention Destin is kinda cheap. We did so much stuff in a week because it’s wasn’t a million $$ to do something fun. STAY HERE! She was so kind from the first message till the last!

Eileen was a great host, her instructions made the check in easy and finding the property easy. The place was clean and stocked with everything that we needed. Very nice location, only a 5 minute walk to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. Would stay again!

This is such a great place! We had 3 people in our group and sleeping was comfortable and not cramped. The walk to the beach was easy and super quick. Would recommend staying here 100%! Hope to be back soon!

Alma and Michael were wonderful hosts! They were so responsive for every question and they provided helpful information and recommendations. The place was small as expected but all that we needed and we slept so well! The beach was located a short walk away and they even provided us with great beach chairs and umbrella. We would definitely come back for a quiet getaway.

This condo is so close to the beach. We used the beach umbrella and chairs that were provided by the host. But for $30 there is a beach service that will set up chairs for you. We stayed here with two kids. We enjoyed the pool and pickle ball courts as well. I booked this condo last minute because our original place cancelled unexpectedly. I was a little disappointed by the view when I arrived because the bay is pretty far away and our original place had a ocean view. On our last night we were surprised by a firework show on the bay. You could not ask for a better view of the fireworks. It was the perfect way to top off our trip. Tip: Walk to the jetty and take a right. Keep walking till you get to the next beach. That is where boats take their guests for snorkeling tours. So many fish and a great place for kids as long as you don't go out too far because it gets deep quickly.

Great place to stay with lots of walkable eats and stores! Would totally stay here again. We initially had a very hard time locating it, so if you book maybe ask for extremely specific directions. GPS won’t take you directly there.

We had a fantastic time in the condo, it was well-equipped, in a great location, with a beautiful view from the balcony. The 7th floor was plenty high and it was great to watch the sunset and the moon rise at the same time. The Pancakery was in walking distance for a delicious breakfast and The Back Porch was a lovely walk along the beach away for lunch and/or dinner. We are golfers and we found a couple of nice courses not too far away from the condo. We enjoyed taking long walks along the beach. I would recommend the condo to others and hope to be back.

Mitzi’s place was absolutely wonderful! Such great views of the property and the gulf from her unit. The condo was both beautiful and comfy at the same time! So enjoyed my stay at her place and will plan to stay there again in the future!

Mark & Pam’s Air BnB lived up to their stellar reviews! My husband and I had a lovely stay over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The condo looked just like the photos + Mark & Pam had amazing recommendations of things to do and places to eat every day. Mark & Pam also supplied ALL the beach essentials- towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc. On our first day, we discovered the umbrella was broken and they were quick to purchase and deliver a new one to our door. If you can, definitely rent bikes! We loved biking into Rosemary Beach every day for dinner, ice cream, or the farmer’s market. All in all a beautiful and perfect beach trip- will definitely recommend to our friends and family!

We had a great girls trip here, beach access and tiki bar service on the beach made this so easy and fun!

My husband and I had a great time in Destin and this unit was perfect for what we needed! We loved that the balcony gets shade most of the day so we could sit out there and not be burning up. We loved how many restaurants and activities there were to do around the area. Very communicative and checked in on us when we arrived. Definitely recommend!

Me and my family had a great week in David and Carons condo! They were attentive, gave me and my family a few things to do while we were vacationing. I will definitely get this place again.
