Holiday rentals with a patio in City of Canterbury

Really enjoyed our stay … it was the perfect bolthole for my 5yr old daughter and I. Thanks to Damian, Stacey & co-hosts responses throughout my stay, even the 10.30pm one 🙈

Partner and I really recommend this quaint little place, its central and has good views of the sea and is just so cosy, its nice and pretty, its airy and just full of little quirks that make the place really memorable. We really, really recommend this place to all that wish to stay in the local area too. It was an pleasure to be in such an wonderful little home

Julie is an ideal host, very friendly and responsive. The static caravan is very well equipped with a kitchen, 2 toilets, one with shower, and a sizeable lounge /dining area. Would book again. David Maxwell

Accommodation was fantastic lovely lay out and very modern , set in a lovely area by the pub , with a short walk to the beach , also private parking for the air b&b , pub food was fantastic and staff very friendly , also met mark on our stay and couldn’t of met a nicer guy , highly recommend this air b&b

Stayed with three friends for a 50th birthday in town and Helen looked after us so well. Everything just perfect for spending a couple of days catching up and the hottub was the crowning glory. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a very nice stay. The duplex was very comfortable, very clean and had all mod cons. There was plenty to do and see in town, including a cinema and interesting walks. Antonella had told us where to park and that helped a great deal. We also had a day in Whitstable which was also very interesting.

This was the second time I am choosing one of Sean’s places. Such a great host, I totally recommend.

Just back from a wonderful stay at Craig and Imogen’s apartment, as a family of 4 with our toddler and baby. It’s one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed in with our kids. Spotless, tidy, smells like a hotel - very clean and an all round enjoyable space to be in. Excellent location from which to explore Margate- everything walkable. Everything was super clear right from booking through to check out. Just perfect! Would love to come back again!

Paige’s B&B was a delight from start to finish. The newly renovated rooms looked exactly like the photos and were spotlessly clean. The location is very convenient—just a 6–7 minute walk from the city centre. Our room had a lovely river view, which made it feel extra special. We did have a minor issue with the key when we first arrived, but Paige came straight away and helped us sort it out quickly. Overall, our stay was very comfortable, and we’d happily choose this B&B again. Highly recommended!

Everything at Crippens was as we expected - some things even better; ie really comfy beds, good linen and fluffy towels. Couldn't fault the location as walking to restaurants etc was only a matter of minutes. A really good quality rental that we can't wait to return to. Shout out also to John for being so amiable about having to come and rescue us after locking the door key inside! Great to have parking for the car and so convenient to just pop things out of the rear entrance and straight into the car. We rent on average 6 properties each year and I would put Crippens at the top of my list.

The Smithy could not be more beautiful or more comfortable. It is the prettiest little house with a window box overflowing with petunias in the prettiest little English country square you could imagine (like something Disney would make up but better) with the ‘big house’ through the gates at one end of the square and a picture perfect church and pub the other end. The beds are huge and so comfortable. The garden is perfect for eating and sitting out in and I loved the kitchen which took me back in time to simpler, happy times (although please don’t get the wrong idea, everything is modern, clean, works and is up to date!). It just has a lovely nostalgic feel to it, perhaps because it reminded me of happy childhood times in my grandmother’s house, sitting at the kitchen table. I spent one afternoon cooking in it and feeling really relaxed ‘at home’ in a way that it isn’t always possible to feel at home! My husband and our Canadian cousins walked to Canterbury along the Pilgrims Way.

Stephen was there to hand us the keys and gave us a quick tour of the house. A lovely little house with everything needed for a break and three minutes walk from the town centre. We'd definitely stay again. Try the Crispin Inn pub if you stay - most superb!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying in this lovely, quaint cottage right in the heart of Canterbury — and what a find it was! From the start, communication was excellent. Our hosts were friendly, responsive, and made everything smooth and stress-free. We felt genuinely welcomed, with thoughtful touches waiting for us on arrival that made it feel like a real home away from home. The cottage itself is full of character — beautifully kept, cosy, and tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet only a short stroll from all the shops, restaurants, and historic sights Canterbury has to offer. It struck the perfect balance between charm and comfort, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable stay with all the magic of Canterbury on the doorstep. A real gem!

The barn was beautifully decorated. Clean and very homely. It had plenty of room and was amazing ,with everything we needed for our stay .The outdoor space was perfect again we had good seating,a bbq ,a fire pit and a wood burning hot tub which was perfect and was ready to use when we arrived .We were surrounded by nature it was stunning. Lisa was amazing , she knew exactly what we needed. Her responses were quick and helpful a perfect host and very kind .Lisa was on hand if you needed her but we had perfect privacy . Nothing was too much trouble .I would highly recommend this Airbnb. Location wise was really good ,not far from Sandwich,Ash and the east coast is a short drive away . Beautiful walks , woodland and totally safe for our little dog . I only wish we could have stayed longer , it was the perfect place for peace and tranquility. Thank you Lisa

Beautiful location. Very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable beds. Good for the dog, enclosed back garden. Parking on the street outside the house was easy. Close to Mermaid pub and Tadpole cafe/farmshop and bakery. Everything you need for a holiday in East Kent

Absolutely charming! We will definitely come back and stay. Tamara’s apartment is dreamy, just perfect for a long weekend. Close to the beach & high street of Whitstable. Tamara herself is lovely and the bed was super comfy. We all felt immediately at home.

Just back from a very relaxing break at Pebbles by the Bay. Great location right by the beach. The apartment was really comfortable and had everything we needed for a really lovely break together. Kitchen is really well equipped, and the beds were really comfortable. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, thank you. We all enjoyed it and would visit again. The older people in our party found the steps in and out of the apartment at the front a bit tricky but Angela gave us keys to the back entrance stairs which have a handrail and that was helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A beautiful well decorated and comfortable flat with unbeatable views of the harbour. Great communication with the hosts made everything easy. Thank you for a great stay! We hope to come back soon.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment the location is absolutely perfect, with stunning views and easy access to the beach, town, and everything we needed. The apartment itself was well equipped and had everything to make our stay comfortable and convenient. We especially appreciated the spacious layout and modern feel. There were a few small maintenance and cleanliness issues that could use some attention, but overall, they didn’t detract from our experience. With a bit of extra care, this place could be absolutely flawless. We’d happily return and recommend it to others looking for a great spot by the sea!

Great place, easy check in, lovely property! Very enjoyable stay

We are just on our way home from a lovely stay in Herne Bay with our two children. The apartment was immaculate and roomy, enough space for us all to stay comfortably and we very much felt at home. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side but the apartment is right opposite the beach and easily walkable to shops and restaurants. We would definitely like to return in the future! We didn't actually stay here as my wife had an accident that meant she couldn't get her wheelchair through the door. Katherine helped with some suggestions but unfortunately we had to abandon. It's a shame because what I saw of the place looked lovely. We'll have to book a stay another time.
