Tent holiday accommodation in City of Canterbury

We had a great trip here with friends - the safari tent was exactly as described and perfect for what we wanted! Liz was a great host, responsive if we needed anything but equally left us to our own privacy. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings but not too far from local amenities and village life! Would definitely recommend!

Myself and 16 other University students stayed at the campsite for 2 nights and can definitely say we all had an incredible time. Tony was absolutely brilliant, communicating very well prior to booking, the days leading up to the trip and during our stay. He helped us with directions, local takeaways (which was extremely helpful for our large group) and was very easy to contact if we had any issues throughout our stay. The campsite was spotless when we arrived, all toilets and shower facilities were in good clean and working order. Would highly recommend booking this campsite for a peaceful, countryside getaway.

tony was very helpful indeed and made sure we had a good time! it's practical...plenty of fridges and BBQ space as well as room to play cricket. the only downside is that the site isn't totally secluded as there's another house nearby. overall we had a great time.

Amazing place to stay, was clean and tidy and well set up. Was as described on booking information and easy to communicate with Tilly. All extras had been left as requested. Would definitely stay at this location again.

We both had a fantastic stay at Oastbrook! The setting was beautiful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The tent was comfortable and thoughtfully set up, everything you need for a cozy night in! Nick was an exceptional host, super responsive and helpful, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a unique and memorable experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend glamping off grid. Comfy clean beds, all the equipment you need, private hot shower & toilet all easy to use. Idyllic setting - kids able to run around freely & enjoy the space & campfire. Great communication from host, everything as described & onsite help if needed. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for quiet and tranquillity it's a spot for you. 10 acres of land with bell tent, hot tube and fire pit. No electricity, no noises, you have all place, field just for yourslef, so you can really calm down and get close to nature. Friendly, responsive owners, who are discreet and in text message contact in case if you need something but from other hand not to disturb you with their presence. Its very basic so probability not for everybody but thats exactly biggest value and charm of this place. Somewhere to slow down and recharge.

We needed a place to stay locally and last minute. Jayne was on hand to help. The communication was great and it was easy to find. If you want that true camping feel, but with a touch of comfort, this is the place to stay!

Anthony was a great host. Extremely friendly and non-invasive whilst also offering tea and snacks throughout the stay. Really nice guy and a lovely tipi to have stayed in!

Stayed for one night with friends – it was a lovely experience! The place is quiet, clean, and well-organised. The tipi tent was spacious and comfortable, and everything was well looked after. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!

I love love loved it here! honestly, I have no complaints at all. Everything surpassed my expectations. The quality of the little things, towels, linens, wool blankets to having everything, absolutely everything we needed add in the most beautiful location, a hot tub and great friends and I truly didn't want to leave. I'm over the moon I've found this place and without doubt will be coming back . A proper gem of a place, you really won't be disappointed. it's impossible!

I had the most amazing time here. We stayed in the Russet Retreat which was so secluded and peaceful. Would love to come back yearly as it offers complete privacy and there is so much to explore.

We loved our little getaway to the tents. It’s such a beautiful place in the orchard. The tent is comfortable and bigger than I thought. The outdoor shower is great, very hot and easy to use. I loved all the sheep with their lambs everywhere. We had the Friday dinner and 2 breakfasts at Stubbs cafe, all the food was great. The pancakes and coffee were excellent but the food we had at the dinner on Friday was really good, top quality meal at a very reasonable price. They only do it on Fridays at the moment so if you are staying on a Friday I’d suggest booking a table. The service was great at the restaurant too, everyone was lovely. Phillip was so helpful and lovely too. The other tents are far enough away that we barely even noticed them. It was like we had the orchard to ourselves. We really wanted to disconnect and relax and that’s exactly what we got. We will be back!

It was a first time experience glamping within a farm. Surrounded by beautiful apple trees secluded from everyone, we can really be at peace in this beautiful home. Best part of it is during the night where we briefly did a bit of star gazing and it was gorgeous! The tents themselves were made cozy, well facilitated with a shower and a composite loo. Although we didn’t do a bbq or light up a campfire definitely it will be next time in the books when visiting again. Philip was very much helpful especially when we need his assistant right before we set off and can’t thank him enough.

What a little haven, just what we needed for our 2 year old daughters first night under the stars, and dingo the pony and olive the goat where the cherry’s on the cake. Thanks for a great stay, hope to come back to dogwood.
