Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. The cottage was gorgeously idyllic and private. The cottage itself was super well appointed and comfortable. The exterior was landscaped beautifully and the views were breathtaking. We got engaged during our visit because my fiancé was moved to propose due to the perfect setting. We will return if we are back in the area.

Myself and 2 friends just had a brilliant weekend at Dawn and Darren’s cottage. They were very friendly and welcoming hosts. The cottage was perfect for what we needed, the decor was lovely and we’ll definitely be back for another stay. Hopefully later this year! Thank you Dawn and Darren.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Laura gave us a warm welcome on arrival and was friendly and available throughout our visit. The cottage was the perfect size for two, thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, and set in a peaceful, tranquil location. The hot tub was a real highlight – private, relaxing, and offering beautiful views. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway!

It was a beautiful area, and the place itself was lovely, very easily made our home for the time of our stay, the utilities were easy to use and it was overall a very comfortable stay

This was a great find. Katrina is one of the most responsive and informative hosts I have had on Airbnb. Being from out of the country we had several questions and she answered so quickly. There were some hiking trails near by which was a nice surprise, and Katrina recommended Gloagburn which was a hidden gem! Would recommend this to anyone looking to be off the beaten path but still have plenty to do!

The view! I took so many photos from the kitchen and sunroom windows of Loch Leven in different lighting! That was worth the price right there, but everything else was exceptional: rooms clean and comfortable, kitchen well stocked, lovely walks straight from the door or short drives away and easy access to Edinburg. I couldn’t have picked a better location.

We loved having a wood to free run the dogs in, you need to walk the dogs there on leads but it isnt far and after the first day my dalmatian walked off lead to the wood. The owners did have dogs themselves which came out to greet us on occasion but if that was a problem then the owners are very friendly and adapatable and im sure would keep them in if needed. The little back garden was enclosed and had paving slabes and pebbles. Lots of room inside the place with a large kitchen and bathroom and hallway. I felt like nothing was too much trouble. I asked if there was a BBQ and there wasnt but they sorted one out for us and then i asked about a dog crate (as we were off to a dog show and couldnt fit ours in the car as it was fully loaded) and they even sorted a crate out for me to use. Very friendly and chatty owners and the place was picturesque and peaceful. You can also park your car right outside the property.

Gaele is an excellent host. lovely property in the country. Gaele was very supportive during our stay by looking after Ziggy (the cockapoo) while we attended my brothers funeral, many thanks for that. look forward to returning under better circumstances to enjoy the area.

First of all can I just say what a beautiful cottage this is, you certainly will not be disappointed. We had a fantastic week here beginning with the lovely welcome gifts left by Kate. We made full use of the opportunity to walk our dog across the farm and the surrounding area, he loved it. Far enough away for a complete relaxing get away, but close enough to all the attractions of central Scotland to fill your days. We fully intend to return next year. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at Moray cottage. The cottage has all the comforts of home in a lovely village close to Stirling. The local pub , 3 doors down , served delicious meals and there is a well stocked co op close by . David went above and beyond to make us feel at home . After a long days travel we really appreciated the breakfast supplies and yummy biscuits. And when we left helped us out with luggage storage. A big thank you for that. This was a very peaceful place to return to after busy days exploring .

excellent little cottage

As with the last stay in the Bothy, we felt completely comfortable. This time, we headed more towards the east and north with our excursions. An ideal central location to explore Central Scotland. We would also be very happy to come a third time💙🏴. 󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙

It was a very cozy spot. It’s very easy to find and in a nice area! The backyard is beautiful and the farm across the road had baby sheep which was a nice treat! The next town (Alloa) had much better food options, and a nice range of stores to pick up some bits and bobs. The house itself was a little tight however, and we had some trouble finding room for our luggage. There were some minor repairs that needed to be done, but I spoke with the host about them and she was very helpful and responsive!

A haven in the Scottish countryside, this cottage was completely charming. Loved that the resident sheep come and go from their pasture at their pleasure. Very friendly hosts provided everything required. Fairly convenient to Dunfermline for groceries and trains into Edinburgh. Thank you!

We absolutely loved staying at the cottage. This was our third place during our Scotland trip and I am so glad we booked it. It allowed us to explore more nature scenes across Scotland and simply have a safe and comfortable home after exploring all day. If we are ever in Scotland again, we will certainly book again.

Lovely modern cottage in a great and peaceful location. The whole cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Gemma was extremely responsive and friendly throughout our stay. Highly recommended if staying in this part of Scotland - we loved it!

We stayed in multiple locations during our trip around Scotland and this was by far our favorite. Clean, welcoming, and picturesque are only a few words to describe this fairytale location. It is rural which is a wonderful way to be apart of the Scottish country side. We would live there if allowed. Gorgeous!!! Thank you again!

Very peaceful location in the country but close enough to Saline and Dunfermline for anything you might need.

Such a lovely place to stay when in Scotland. The cottage had everything we needed, was comfortable and was clean. Gemma was extremely responsive. If you're looking for a tucked away gem that is accessible via public transit but keeps you away from the busyness of the big city, this spot is perfect.
