Beachfront holiday rental in Clacton-on-Sea

The house was beautifully positioned/appointed with wonderful open plan living room and kitchen. bathrooms were all spotless, modern and well presented. Light, airy house with wonderful views of the surrounding sea. A special find, allowing good friends to enjoy some precious days walking and cycling in the glorious surrounding countryside. Host was very attentive and easy to contact - would highly recommend.

We had a great stay here. We love staying in Felixstowe and in particular this caravan site; Natalie was extremely helpful and proactive. The caravan was right next to the nature reserve which was great for dog walking. We would definitely return!

We rented John’s hut to spend a day at the beach with friends. The hut was exactly as described and very well located, close to the cafesnand shops, the toilets, and the parking spaces. It contained everything you can need for a perfect day at the beach! Would definitely recommend it and would consider renting it again in the future.

Wow! Lee's place is bloody lovely. It had everything we could have needed. The garden was a great spot to sit in with a coffee & perfectly secure for our dog too. Thank you so much for the use of your home. And such a perfect place for beachy walks too; literally 5 mins walk to Dovercourt Beach, 10 mins walk down to the cafe & amusements (which my teen boys loved). We had a lovely break

spotlessly clean and very comfortable. would definitely stay again. the only slight disappointment was that the description referred to views of the harbour and beach and they are named harbour view but there was no view. it didn't spoil the trip though.

The bakehouse was a great, we had wonderful time the house have everything that you need to feel comfortable and everything it’s 5 min less walking distance. Great place and host . Definitely recommendable

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mark's apartment! Mark was a great host, very responsive, gave clear instructions and was super friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was clean, as advertised and right across the road from the beach and pier. I hope to stay again!

We had an absolutely brilliant and relaxing stay – the accommodation was lovely and really well thought out. The beds were comfy, and we slept well throughout. One of the real highlights was the local wildlife – we were amazed by how close we got to nature, and being (lightly!) stalked by the cows definitely made us smile! Would love to come back soon.

We have stayed at Cooper's Beach before, but never in such a lovely motorhome. The motorhome was spotlessly clean, well appointed and modern - it felt quite luxurious! And that is before we factor in the location. It is perfectly positioned near all the amenities: the clubhouse, the pool, the playground and the beach. Rohan responded quickly to our queries and was an informative host. It was a great place to stay and we had a wonderful trip.

Jenny, I hope you like my review, we enjoyed our short holiday in your caravan. I think you will need to fix some of the furniture, like the wardrobe door in the double room. Otherwise everything was fine, thanks. Peter

Had the best two nights at Tracy’s home from home. Was everything she had described, very comfortable I had the best two nights sleep. Close to the beach and you can see the sea from the van. Thank you I will be back 😊

Hazel’s place is a fantastic place, right on the beach front and short walk to the facilities in this lovely holiday park. Had everything that we needed, all clean and well equipped. 100% recommend!

Lovely Caravan, clean and tidy everything as described. Nice touches such as handwash, bathmat and toilet rolls that some caravan companies don't provide. Easy to get in with a key code rather than having to que at the reception on arrival, and bonus of own parking space next to the caravan. We would return again, thank you!

We had a lovely family break in Clacton-on-Sea and couldn’t have been happier with our stay at the lodge. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome from the owner, who provided lots of helpful information about the area. The lodge itself was perfect for the three of us — it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, with the added bonus of a lovely deck to enjoy the sunshine. The location was ideal, just a short drive from the pier and the beautiful beaches of Clacton. We highly recommend this lodge and would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Tim’s place. I booked it very last minute and he was quick to get all the information to me to ensure a smooth entrance to the property. The flat itself is right on the beach with gorgeous views for your morning coffee! The flat is quiet and cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Thanks guys!

We had an absolutely lovely day at the beach hut. It's a short walking distance from the station, the hut was simple to find and we couldn't believe how peaceful it was being a couple of rows up - even on a busy bank holiday weekend. The large decking area was perfect to lay out the table and chairs and enjoy our picnic with wonderful sea views. Would love to visit again and highly recommended.

Rose, a beautiful home! Thank you for being an amazing host always responding to me within great amount of time, very polite and helpful and gave us extra time in the caravan due to arriving late! Our only downside was the restaurant on the site due to a various issues we unfortunately experienced. Apart from that amazing place, great beach, and great caravan and I would recommend! Wonderful house in great location to be able to walk to beach, restaurants, take away etc. easy walk to town centre. Hosts were very friendly and informative the house is very well kept, lots of space for six people and everything you need provided. Nice outdoor space and safe for families, two parking spaces is very handy, along with two bathrooms and a toilet downstairs. So lovely to be able to see the sea from the bedrooms and living room. We had a great stay and would recommend thank you so much!

We had a lovely stay in the cabin. Sally and her husband were so friendly and on hand if we needed anything. The cabin is compact but had everything we needed for our weekend. Its furnished to a high standard and the complementary bathrobes and slippers were a nice touch. As were the complementary beverages. I loved the beautiful garden and flowers around the cabin, they smelt wonderful. The two dogs were a delight and very friendly but not at all boisterous. The beautiful beach is just a few minutes walk away from the house. We used the cabin as a base to explore the local area and i loved walking along the beach to Walton on the Naze pier. Frinton itself is such a beautiful location with many local independent shops and cafes in the high street.

Just got home from and amazing weekend away at our happy place..... Felixstowe! We were greeted by our hosts Anthea and Dennis who were really lovely. Their holiday home was really beautiful and spacious and very clean. We stayed with two 12 year olds girls who also loved the space and not to mention having Internet!! Also a real treat....there was a bath!! Which i enjoyed with a glass of wine at the end of the day. This was our first visit to their lovely holiday home and im already planning the next.
