Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Clacton-on-Sea

Our group of six—two adults, one young adult, and three teenagers—had a very comfortable stay at Lesley’s lovely home. It, indeed, felt very much like a home and not just a rental property. There was ample space for all of us, and it was great to have three toilets and two showers. The location is superb—a short walk to coffee, restaurants, and the riverfront, which we enjoyed strolling along in the evening. A great place for a larger group to stay in Wivenhoe!

Absolutely beautiful, location is peaceful and picturesque. The property is well equipped, comfortable and just stunning. Will definitely be coming back here again!!

Jasmine cottage was a most wonderful place to stay! Shelly's attention to detail was much appreciated and it's clear to see why she is a superhost! me and my sister stayed here to celebrate my sisters birthday and Chloes cottage was absolutely the perfect choice, the whole place was stunning and was in such an ideal little village. the place was spotless and had everything we might have needed to enjoy our stay. Would highly recomend visiting Ickworth estate too which is only a 20 minute drive away!

A wonderful house in beautiful surroundings. It also had that more difficult to attain "presence", with each room allowing you to relax and experience its homeliness and history. The whole family (6 adults and 2 grandchildren) thoroughly enjoyed our stay to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. No-one really wanted to leave. Waking up to see the expanse of manicured gardens from bedroom windows and breakfast room was a calming relaxing pleasure. Plenty of walks available, and the walk to the local pub for an evening meal was safe and easy along quiet country roads. Would certainly recommend.

Visited for a wedding nearby, great stay and Melanie was flexible with check in times.

The bakehouse was a great, we had wonderful time the house have everything that you need to feel comfortable and everything it’s 5 min less walking distance. Great place and host . Definitely recommendable

Had the best two nights at Tracy’s home from home. Was everything she had described, very comfortable I had the best two nights sleep. Close to the beach and you can see the sea from the van. Thank you I will be back 😊

A really lovely place to stay. Peaceful, spacious and great value. Lots of parking and amenities. Only wish we’d stayed longer!

Perfect place for a little break. Cleanest caravan we’ve ever stayed in! Bedding looked, felt and smelt fresh, bathroom, toilet and kitchen all clean and well equipped, and Yussuf was quick to respond with any questions. We’d definitely stay again.

Paulina went above and beyond make sure the caravan had all essentials. The caravan was clean and tidy, it felt homely. Perfectly situated by all amenities. Would definitely visit again

We had the most amazing stay at Sprotts farm, in the brambles. The cottage itself was lovely and so homely, and there were lovely dog walks straight from the door, but to then add in a gorgeous outdoor pool and an excellent games room just propelled this holiday in to one of our favourites. Alica and family were on hand to help with any info if needed, but we're not overbearing at all. We would highly recommend Sprotts farm to anybody and will definitely return. My son and I and our three dogs absolutely loved Deer Lodge, a clean and cosy living space. Sue was there to meet us on arrival, and explained everything clearly - a super host. The grounds were perfect for our dogs and the short walk to the estuary really lovely. Colchester is within easy reach which was perfect for meeting up with friends. Already looking to book again for September. Thankyou so much Sue it was exactly what we needed.

Fantastic place and a great host! Strongly recommend Jenny’s place if you’re looking for a peaceful gateway and you love being surrounded by nature- we were visited by rabbits, pheasants, and variety of birds. What a lovely time we had!

This accommodation is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. There are lots of lovely local walks and a couple of convenience stores and pubs within walking distance. There are lots location is peaceful with a nice outdoor courtyard garden. Occasionally footsteps can be heard from above the bedroom due to the accommodation being underneath part of the owner’s home.

A lovely 1 night stay so we could see family nearby. Extremely convenient for Clacton and site itself had lots to offer. A great deal and having milk in the fridge waiting for us was a lovely touch after a long drive and a much needed cup of tea.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mark's apartment! Mark was a great host, very responsive, gave clear instructions and was super friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was clean, as advertised and right across the road from the beach and pier. I hope to stay again!

First time visiting Colchester and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Home from home and the location was absolutely perfect, literally right next to the castle park and less than a 5 minute walk to the castle and high street. Peaceful and super clean. Reilly was the perfect host. Friendly, responsive and helpful. Kitchen had everything we needed to dine in. Bed was comfy and linen was clean. The bathroom was also spotless! Thank you for having us and we will definitely be returning. 5 star 🌟 stay x

Just what I was looking for. A relaxing, calm location that allowed me to rest and walk plenty. Access to the country park and water front was ideal for my dog and I. The enclosed patio permitted my dog to roam in and out of the accommodation and the outside hose came in handy when I needed to wash her down. The accommodation was simple but comfortable. Everything I needed was available. The locals were friendly and helpful. I hope to visit again in the future. Thank you for the wine and treats!
