Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Clay County

We had an absolutely delightful experience staying at Second Door Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations for our group. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need. The beds was incredibly comfortable, and the little thoughtful touches, like multiple air mattresses made it feel like a home away from home for the big group we had. This stay is great for sports teams and keeping the players, coaches and parents in one spot! Couldn't ask for more!

The place was really nice with an amazing location. The area was really convenient for us and our family; it was super close to downtown KC and the local trails and parks. Thank you Julie and Joe for everything once again!

Nikki was great to work with. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Felt like we were right at home. They communicated well and gave us all the details we needed. Would recommend to other guests looking for a home away from home for a few days.

What a gorgeous place! Nestled into a beautifully wooded lot in an established neighborhood, this modern house had everything we could possibly need. The number of bedrooms and full bathrooms was perfect for our larger group. Getting ready was a breeze without having to wait in line for a shower or worry about hot water running out. Super comfy couches and plenty of seating in the living room was great for a movie night and the beautiful kitchen made me want to move in!! Would definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.

Literally such a cute location, & such an amazing host!! He was very responsive and helpful. My only complaint was that the couch doesn’t recline, but like you still have a couch haha. Amazing location and such a beautiful backyard. I would 100% stay here again. Easy check in / check out and best host i’ve had in a while. Thank you for letting us stay!!

The location is in a beautiful neighborhood and the house is easily accessible from multiple different routes and easy to find. It was very welcoming upon entering the house and everything we needed for our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable in the house. We ventured out and stumbled into North Kansas City and the night life even with our young son was very enjoyable. Cathy was very quick with communications about questions we had for her regarding the house. I will definitely keep her house in my favorites in case we come back to Kansas City again.

This was my second stay. Lauren's house in KC is a gem - the yard and outdoor space feels open and free, refreshing. The house is fresh and clean and not overdone. I have a 1 and 3 year old and it's easy to stay here. Cannot recommend enough, will stay again.

The apartment has amazing views of the city. It was a beautiful place to stay and close to the streetcar and all that downtown has to offer. I will definitely stay again next time I am in Kansas City.

The place was amazing and Melissa was helpful and great with communication! The location can’t be beat and the place was clean and inviting. The beds were comfortable and everything was thoughtfully prepared for guests!

It was very comfortable to stay at Russ’s place. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen has everything we needed. Nice large living room area. The pool was wonderful on the hot days we had. Russ was out of town but always available by messaging. We felt very cared for during our stay. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful Airbnb and had plenty of space for our group. Easy to get into and check out was very easy as well!

Overall it was a good stay. There were a few minor issues like trash left behind on the porch and the couch bed was dirty when pulled out, but Kevin and Ashley were responsive and took care of them quickly. The smell and noise were not anything the hosts could control, it was very definitely other guests in the same building who had weed and were noisy. It was not too bad, just definitely noticeable and more so because I have small children who were trying to sleep. As far as location, it’s right off The Paseo so not an area I’d “take my kids for a walk in” but good in terms of location for the activities we had planned and it was easy to get in and out of.

A calm place with easy access to both supermarket, diners and restaurants. The BBQ place around the corner was amazing! The apartment had lots of space and balconies/porches in all directions 👌

This place was perfect for the time I was in and what I needed! You tell they put quality into this place. It was a little cold put i am used it. I loved my time there!

Loved our stay here! Super clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. The place looked just like the photos, and the location was great. Host was easy to reach and really helpful. Would totally stay again!!
