It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience to stay in a tower castle & Tubbrid is a perfect place to do so! The furnishings are modern & lovely, bathrooms luxurious, & bedrooms romantic! Our host John’s mother, Helen, lives nearby & stopped by to see if we needed anything. She was so sweet & kind! My husband & I slept on fold out couches near the fireplace in the main room, insisting our adult children & their spouses take the bedrooms. Helen brought us extra bedding for this. While the couches are almost futon-like & probably best for a single, it worked to give our children privacy & limit our stair use. The stone stairs are many, very narrow, & also deep so anyone with mobility issues would have difficulty. John was very helpful in providing the name of a local chef, JOCCOOKS who prepared a delicious & fun meal for us one night right in the castle! Nothing like being treated like royalty in a medieval setting! Fabulous experience! Note: Top floor bedroom has 2 double beds.

We had a lovely stay at Angela’s place. We enjoyed the beautiful Irish countryside surrounds and found the cottage to be very comfortable for our group. Thank you for a great stay
