House holiday rentals in Clydebank

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Host was very friendly with very good communication throughout. On arrival the host made it very easy to get into the lodge and came in and explained all amenities on site and was very polite. Overall, throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return.

Recently visited Pleasant Hill for Hen Weekend. We had previously been let down by another house and Chris was extremely helpful and reassuring. 17 of us stayed for the weekend and the house was perfect for what we needed it for. Chris was in constant contact with me, gave plenty of recommendations for local amenities and attractions and was flexible on check in and check out times. For such a large party, buying food was a concern of mines but he suggested we do an online shop beforehand and offered to collect it and put it away for us before we arrived. This really was a massive help and greatly appreciated, it was one less worry and concern I had in the run up to the weekend. Our bride and all guests had a fantastic weekend. Thank you!

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage 2 nights were not enough to fully appreciate the internal and external space. Very homely feeling.

Another great stay at Mary's wonderful accommodation! I cannot rate it highly enough and will be returning again in the near future!

We had a lovely stay at Riley’s cottage. The house was comfortable and cosy on rainy Scottish days with the log fire on and we enjoyed the beautiful garden when the sun came out. It is in a quiet location with nature on your doorstep, we felt calm and peaceful throughout our stay. Riley was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Nice three bedroom home, so much space and was perfect for what we needed. Communal areas squeaky clean .. great stay if passing through, but probably close enough to Glasgow city centre to enjoy all this space if you’re a family.

You absolutely have to choose Claire’s place! Beautiful house with breathtaking views from the bedroom and lounge. Very responsive, helpful & generous. Beautiful town and easily accessible from the accommodation. Super comfortable beds & very spacious house throughout: bedrooms, lounge, bathroom & kitchen. When we come back to Scotland from Australia we will make the trip back to Claire’s!

We stayed for a week for my partners birthday and had the most incredible time. The views were stunning and you could just sit all day and watch the wildlife on the lake! Beds were comfy and had all the amenities you needed. We didn’t want to leave!

I seriously want to gatekeep this house, but it is so incredible and needs to be shared. I would go out of my way to stay here again. Probably the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. There were so many welcoming touches and it truly felt like home. The beds were comfortable, the rooms so spacious, the showers amazing (my gosh the water pressure, what a dream). We had everything we needed and more. The home and grounds were just stunning. We walked to dinner two of our nights and ate in the others. The history of the carriage house was so cool; the kids loved finding all of the hidden touches. Kylie and Scott were warm and friendly and we are so grateful they shared their home with us. We had the best hiking trip in beautiful Scotland and we were very sad to leave. I definitely hope to be booking a return trip soon.

We stayed in the annexe for three nights and it was the perfect space to relax in. Easy to find, peaceful yet close to transport links, well equipped and super comfortable. Communication was also excellent and we will look to book again in future when visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh.

I had a wonderful stay at Margaret’s place! The accommodation was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The location was perfect. Host was incredibly responsive and friendly, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The space itself had everything I needed—like cozy beds, well-equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, fresh towels, snacks, a guidebook, etc. made it feel like home. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again for a great experience!

Although I stayed only for a day at this place, it was worth every penny. The house was beautiful with all the basic necessities. Everything was pristine clean and we had a great time. Definitely worth staying again whenever I am back to Glasgow.

Great place for a big family or group of friends. We enjoyed the pub around the corner, the park right next to the place and Balloch in general. Supermarket very close by and Anne was super responsive. The place needs a good deep clean (kitchen, floors and bedrooms) and some TLC here and there but Anne was an excellent host, very responsive, friendly and helpful.

I booked last minute and Hannah was able to accommodate me straight away. Great communication from the host and was able to provide me with instructions to access instantly. The property was clean tidy and very well presented. Very homely feel and cosy. Pretty much had everything I needed for a very short stay. Highly recommended and a great location in Newton Mearns with great facilities at a walking distance.

Gorgeous home and yard! Loved it!

Thoroughly enjoyed! Comfort level excellent (especially bedroom). Cottage included everything you’d require for relaxing/cooking and having made the most of our week’s stay we appreciated a home from home to return to. I’d recommend Auchterarder and surrounding areas, and Dunsmore was just perfect. Credit to owners.

We have a lovely stay and enjoyed the amazing views!! Elizabeth was incredibly responsive and quick to help when we needed anything. We would highly recommend! There are two small things to just be aware of in advance. 1) There are quite a few stairs getting down to the home. Just a caution for anyone with mobility impairments. 2) Selecting “get directions” through Apple Maps or Google Maps in the listing link does not take you to the correct place, nor does manually typing the address. You can get there by using the home’s coordinates or searching for Auchenheglish Mid Lodge.

What an amazing flat! We came for a wedding in the area and this was a perfect place stay. The views are unreal from the flat and there is a great outdoor area for sitting with a wine and admiring the loch. In addition, the flat was clean, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. 10/10 recommend Christine’s place!

I felt like it was home away from home. Stayed here for 5 weeks while i was on placement in the Queen Margaret hospital (15min walk), and it included absolutely everything i needed and more! Couldn’t have loved it more :) thank you so much for letting me stay! So close to local shops and easy links to city centre too
