Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cognocoli-Monticchi

We had a very restful two week stay at Jackie’s. We are a three-generational family and everyone was very comfortable. The pool was well-maintained and the temperature was always absolutely perfect. The walk to the beach was about 25 minutes. We also drove on two roads down to the beach, once each time. Afterwards, we preferred to walk, but more adventurous drivers would probably be fine. Everyone we met was delightful from Pierrot at the small grocery store to the people at Chez Francis, Chez Eric on Calu d’Orzo beach to the owner and waiter at Bar Xavier. We highly recommend the Plage de Cupabia. The location was a bit remote, which was fantastic for rest and slightly challenging for driving.

A Beautiful and Relaxing Stay at Villa Lily Bay We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lily Bay in Marina de Santa Giulia. The villa is beautifully renovated, stylishly decorated, and offers beautiful views of the bay and surrounding mountains. The location is perfect—walking distance to the beach, quiet neighborhood and shared pool (though now closed for winter maintenance), making it easy to unwind in the serene scenery. There is a short drive to shops and restaurants in Porto-Vecchio as well as only 30 minute drive to Bonifacio, which is absolutely worth the visit. For hikers I recommend checking out Cascade de Piscia di Ghjaddu within 1 hour drive. The villa was well-equipped and comfortable, providing a great balance of modern amenities and natural beauty. Entrance is via winding stairs, just a note for people with mobility issues. Overall, a fantastic experience with Eric, and we would love to return! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway in Corsica.

Séjour très agréable ! Le logement est conforme à la description, propre, bien équipé et très bien situé. L’hôte a été accueillant(e) et réactif(ve), ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et n’hésiterons pas à revenir si l’occasion se présente.

Eric and Edith's place is one of the classiest AirBNB's I've ever stayed in. The apartment is even better than the pictures - the floor layout and composition of everything including tasteful furniture and decor is perfect. Lovely, partly wild garden lot. Lots of space in the apartment - huge patio for star-gazing. Beautiful view onto the sea and coast. Good for watching sunsets. The neighborhood is off the beaten track but it's easy enough to get to several towns and attractions in the southwest of Corsica. A dirt road going by the house leads down to a beautiful beach with a very good family-run restaurant. Edith is very responsive and is concerned that guests have a good stay. I highly recommend this listing.

merveilleux chez Marie à Viggianello. La maison est superbe, spacieuse et très confortable. La terrasse offre une vue magnifique sur la mer avec le coucher de soleil en prime. L’environnement est très calme, la maison est située sur les hauteurs de Viggianello à 10 minutes à peine de Propriano et de tous les commerces. Au-delà de la localisation et de la maison en elle-même, nous avons été extrêmement bien accueillis par Marie qui a été d’une gentillesse incomparable et d’une hospitalité sans failles. Disponible à tous moments, arrangeante et soucieuse de ses voyageurs, Marie a vraiment été bienveillante et arrangeante. Ce séjour a été parfait en tous points et nous prendrons plaisir à revenir chez Marie lors d’un prochain voyage en Corse !

Belle bergerie rénovée dans les hauteurs de la pointe de la Castagne La maison est très bien située, et il y a tout ce qu’il faut à l’intérieur. Climatisation très appréciée fin juillet Petit jardin vert et ombragé qui apporte du frais Cuisine d’été dans le jardin, idéale pour les repas Accès à un espace partagé pour prendre un apéro devant le coucher se soleil magnifique sur les sanguinaires Il y a une petite annexe de la maison au bout du jardin, avec d’autres locataires, cela ne nous a posé aucun problème car chacun a bien respecté les règles de vie communes dans le jardin partagé Steeve est un hôte très accueillant

The apartment met all our requirements and more. It's a lovely home full of family memories. Situated on the edge of the village of Petreto-bicchisano, a much under rated village in the south of Corsica. Local amenities included 3 excellent restaurant/bar/cafes, a boulangerie, 2 artisinal biscuit/cake makers and a well stocked local produce market/shop all within walking distance. François was a lovely host meeting and welcoming us to his apartment on our 1st night, he gave us tips for the local area and where local amenities are located. He kept in contact during our staying, offering advice and help. Highly recommend trying 2 of the local restaurants, Bar Chasseur in the upper part of the town for its selection of local grilled dishes cooked on wood fire outside and very friendly staff. The other restaurant is in center of village Le Cyrnos with delicious pizza and pasta dishes and salads. Overall a great place to explore southern Corsica.

Alain est un hôte d exception. Très attentif à nos besoins. La villa est incroyable et notre logement était cosi. Alain est est un très bon communicant, et au service de ses visiteurs. Je recommande très fortement cet hôte et sa villa !!! J ai adoré notre séjour !!!

An amazing and enjoyable stay in the very heart of Sartene, a jewel in Corsica. Marie and her husband are great and friendly hosts with great welcome traditions. A complimentary wine and local cookies were offered upon arrival. Un grand merci

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sie besitzt eine tolle Terrasse mit wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Berge.

Grave aux explications détaillées de Pascal, le logement est facile à trouver. Le paysage autour de la maison est juste magnifique. L’appartement est situé au rez-de-chaussée et ouvre sur une jolie terrasse où l’on peut prendre son petit-déjeuner ou profiter de la piscine un peu plus bas face à cet incroyable environnement. À l’intérieur, il y a tout ce qu’il faut. L’accueil de Pascal est très chaleureux et sa communication parfaite. Un petit coin de paradis où on s’installerait volontiers!

Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour dans le magnifique appartement Très bien équipé et joliment décoré La vue du balcon est incroyable sur les montagnes et sur les aiguilles de Bavella. il est situé dans le petit village de Zonza animé proche de pleins d’activités sportives et surtout dans la nature. La région est somptueuse.

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon is erg mooi, de ruimte is klein maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en Patrick is erg vriendelijk.

George’s place was absolutely fantastic! An amazing hidden gem, with outstanding views.. exactly the kind of place we love. Gladys was excellent and kindly met us late due to a delayed arrival of the ferry. We highly recommend George’s place and will definitely return.

We had a great stay at Valerie’s beautiful house. The house is spacious and very well equipped. We especially loved the terrace with the wonderful pool and the magnificent garden. The whole atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Valerie gave great suggestions when I asked about a patisserie to get a birthday cake, a good butcher for a barbecue, etc.. And Sahila who checked us in and out was very friendly and nice.

Accueil chaleureux énorme goûter à notre arrivée. Hôte très réactive disponible, arrangeante. Maison avec superbe vue à 10min de la plage à pieds 2 min en voiture. Tout à proximité. maison très bien équipée, 15 jeux de société minimum, masques tubas palmes, boules de pétanques....

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans cette maison ! Tout était parfaitement conforme à la description, voire mieux. La propreté était irréprochable, la décoration soignée et chaleureuse, et chaque détail semblait avoir été pensé pour offrir confort et bien-être. La piscine chauffée était juste parfaite pour se détendre à deux, à toute heure de la journée. L’emplacement est idéal, calme tout en étant proche des commodités. Le quartier est paisible, parfait pour se reposer et profiter à fond. Hélène a été extrêmement réactive, attentionnée et sympathique. Nous recommandons cette maison les yeux fermés et espérons y revenir très bientôt !

Merci Jean-François. La maison est vraiment impeccable. Elle est très très bien équipée, voire sur suréquipé avec la cuisine d’été. Nous étions 6 et l’espace est vraiment très agréable. Les équipements (piscine, terrain de pétanque etc..) sont parfaits. Jean-François était disponible pour nos demandes. Merci pour tout, nous reviendrons. À bientôt, Lucas et ses amis.

Stunning house and very well equipped. Ideal for famillies with children with direct access to the beach and a lovely grass area in the enclosed garden. Beautiful sunset every night! Emmanuel has been very responsive and flexible which is very appreciated however, it is a shame that we didn't get a proper tour / informations by the concierge about the property when we arrived, or at least the next day (as we arrived very late). Especially, as some of the bay windows were extremely hard to open or even didn't open at all, it would have been nice to have a heads up! But will definitely book again in the future, hoping those will get fixed.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in het fantastische huis van Marc, prachtig gelegen tussen de bergen en zeer smaakvol ingericht met aandacht voor detail. Het huis voelde zeer huiselijk, het zwembad was zalig. Marc was buitengewoon attent en gaf veel tips. Dit huis en omgeving is zeer aan te bevelen!
