This place was awesome and exactly as pictured! Nice gardens to walk around and look at flowers and vegetables growing or sit outside and bird watch. Highly recommend this place and these hosts! Easy drives to lots of pretty places. We saw kangaroo and koala in the wild on our day trips and stunning scenery! Beds were comfortable as were other furnishing. Nice shower, wish I’d had time to try to jacuzzi tub. Decor was nice and beautiful artwork on the walls. Really nice place!

Lovely stay with stunning views and great facilities. Perfect for a long weekend getaway. Little bit of a drive to other amenities so come prepared but a good middle ground to explore local sites.

A magical place nestled in the rainforest but near the beach, a wonderful view- we just sat with a cuppa and our puppy in the porch watching the ducks- Very peaceful- if you are after something quiet, intimate, and with amazing views, this is the place- close drive 5 minutes to town for food. Will book it again !!!!!

Thank you Alex, our holiday exceeded all my expectations! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the beach and a short drive into Apollo Bay. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, which was great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I can't wait to return!

Rickie-Lee's place was clean and was fully stocked with amenities and things we could use to make our stay great. We made full use of the BBQ and fire pit. Beds were really comfy and the house was well insulated which would be great for the colder months.

We had a wonderful & relaxing stay. Cosy atmosphere thanks to the provided firewood and amazing views. Had everything we needed.

This place was wonderful. It was a wintery couple of days for the Great Ocean Road running event, but it suits the place perfectly! The place is very cosy and warm & we loved every minute of it. Watch out for the big kangaroos on the drive up! Next time, including some extra brekky food would be great. Thank you for having us :)

A great choice for families with teenagers - there were enough beds for my kids to each bring a friend and they all made good use of the pool and games room. Their only complaint was about the rather steep walk back to the cottage, which may challenge some. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful forest views, and the kitchen well-appointed - if there was any utensil I couldn't find or if a condiment ran out Nicole arranged for it to be delivered immediately. We enjoyed walks around the property, mountain biking, beach days and golf in Lorne and visited Sheoak Falls. A relaxing and fun long weekend.

Joanne's place was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Very helpful and even lit the fire for us before arrival. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Wilhe’s place was perfect for a long cosy weekend away on a rainy weekend. Only a short drive into Apollo Bay but felt so peaceful in the mountains amongst the trees. We loved the wood fire, the comfy bed and just felt that the space had everything we needed - including umbrellas. Highly recommend!

An absolutely perfect stay in the hills. Such an incredible location and not too far of a drive into town. Feels like you get the best of everything. I was a longer term stay and Petrina was an incredibly generous and helpful host :) The cottage was so gorgeous and peaceful with incredible views of sunrise and you feel completely immersed in the bush with beautiful birds and wildlife all around. The fire really warms up the place so is a great stay in Winter. The bedding is also super cozy. I can’t wait to visit again. FYI they have another listing on the same property called ‘The Studio’ so there’s a good opportunity to book out both with a couple of friends to enjoy together which I hope to do in the future :) Thanks so much! I can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Beautiful accomodation on a stunning quiet property. It’s just what we needed - a little getaway to relax by a fireplace. Jade was lovely, we’ll definitely be back!

Sharon’s place was peaceful private and had beautiful lush green surroundings. The house is cozy clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were comfortable, clean linen and towels. The fireplace kept us warm and cozy with lots of firewood. The property feels remote even though it’s just 20 mins from Apollo bay. and having no Wi-Fi or phone reception made it feel like a really peaceful getaway. We had fun exploring the property playing board games by the fire swinging on the swing outside and making pizzas in the wood fired pizza oven.

Stunning views down to the water across the fields , this is a cosy holiday spot with everything you need. It was perfect for our large group of friends - including a couple of young kids who were thrilled to find a few toys and games and look at the horses . A bit of a walk into town but makes up for it with the view !

Bryan's place is a haven on the Great Ocean Road. Beautiful views 24/7 - when it's not the ocean and cliffs, it is the clear sky with endless stars. The sounds of the waves overcomes any of the traffic noise from the Great Ocean Road below. Bryan is super proactive and friendly, and even helped arrange a dinner booking for us on New Year's Eve when we were at a loss for plans. All the amenities are modern and pristine. Thanks for a wonderful stay and memorable NYE!

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing two-night stay at Glen View as a stopover during our Melbourne to Adelaide journey on the Great Ocean Road. Johanna is a truly beautiful section of the GOR where rolling green hills and farmlands meet the ocean. The cottage is delightfully laid out and well provisioned, with quality bedding and toiletries, a lovely fire-place and a shed full of wood (and reverse cycle a/c for the summer months and the impatient!) A visit to the chicken shed to collect farm fresh eggs and the orchard for some lemons was a nice treat for us suburbanites! The kitchen is fully functional with pretty much all equipment you could need, including a coffee machine. Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!!!

Quiet place and beautiful landscapes I will come back here with pleasure!

We have enjoyed a very peaceful week in Joanna Cottage. Despite a couple of stormy nights, we felt cozy and warm inside in front of the log fire. Such a stunning view! I loved visiting the hens for a couple of fresh eggs, and there was everything we needed inside the cottage to make for a comfortable stay. Our hosts were always available to help us with any questions. A wonderful place to stay.

We had a lovely stay celebrating our wedding anniversary. Pool was lovely and we loved the gym and the sauna ($35 per session) set in nature watching the birds in the trees was a fantastic way to start the day. Wild life in the area was amazing, wallabies, echidna, kookaburra to name a few. The cottage was great, a second air con would be helpful as the first days were very hot and the one aircon was located in just one bedroom. Linen is fresh, decor lovely and the beds were nice and large (I do prefer a softer mattress but that is just personal preference). The second toilet was great for a family. Gentle Annie on Friday night is great and was a great way to celebrate. I liked the touches such as shampoo, conditioner, soaps, air freshener were beautiful. Lovely T2, bottle of bubbles and delicious jam were a pleasant surprise. We had a great stay and will be back! Thank you

Wow! This place is amazing. We were a family group of 10. Two families of four and two grandparents. As a group we ranged from highly active to reduced mobility (walker) and it was an ideal environment for us all to explore and reconnect, over and over. There was something for everyone. The swimming pool was brilliant and it was a real treat to be swimming and looking at sheep and horses grazing in the paddock, with rolling hills and bush beyond. The kitchen was great and the dining table fit us all, so we enjoyed dinner around the table together each night after bushwalking the various tracks. We thought three nights would be enough to do everything as the property looked to be reasonably remote, but we were wrong. There is so much to explore in the local towns and within the property. We loved it so much that we are already booking again for next year! Highly recommend if you want space to relax, bushwalk, and reconnect with loved ones. I could say more but I've run out of words!

This is our second time staying here and we had a wonderful,relaxing time! So quiet and peaceful.Our German shepherd loved the fenced yard and we spent a lot of our time laying on the grass watching the waves and birds.We were so lucky with some warm sunny days but when it got cold and rainy,it was so cosy to put the fire on and curl up and watch movies. Cannot wait to return!

Great little house in perfect location, walkable to shops and beach and on a lovely peaceful street. Great garden space for the dogs to run around in. House was clean and comfortable the only two small critiques we had was the cute oven/stove only works using either the oven or the hob at one time which can be a slight inconvenience to cook. And the second the rooms got a little chilli overnight due to only 1 split system in the main living area. Otherwise great place and would stay again.
