Had a wonderful stay here. The breakfast provisions were delicious, i liked that butter was included. The beds were cosy and the electric blanket was so nice during the cold weather. The kitchen tap also had a filtered water tap and the water was really cold and nice.

We had a great long weekend away at Chris’ property. The house had plenty of space for us all with amazing views despite the wet weather of the weekend. We were kept warm and dry with the wood fire and heaters in all bedrooms. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Just go for the view. Simple. Place is nice

Stunning views down to the water across the fields , this is a cosy holiday spot with everything you need. It was perfect for our large group of friends - including a couple of young kids who were thrilled to find a few toys and games and look at the horses . A bit of a walk into town but makes up for it with the view !

We had a wonderful stay at Peter's. He was helpful, friendly and kind. Highly recommended if you like a peaceful place.

We had a wonderful time at this place. Llamas, sheep, koalas, and colourful birds welcomed us, and the surroundings were incredibly peaceful, allowing us to escape the usual hustle and bustle and truly relax. We brought food from home for our stay, but the host had thoughtfully prepared an excellent selection of pantry items, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, so there was no hassle at all. Both inside and outside the house, you can feel the host's thoughtful attention to detail, creating a comfortable and welcoming space. I recommend this place to friends who want to get away and enjoy a quiet retreat.

Craig and Tim’s house was beautiful and clean, and extremely well equipped with everything we needed for a 5-day getaway during Easter. Craig and Tim were very friendly and provided clear instructions on accessing the key. We had an amazing time here!

Relax and listen to the sounds of nature, the property is filled with beautiful bird life. We loved being close to the animals, which provided a country feel. The house is well appointed including a beautiful kitchen for cooking and spotless comfortable beds. There is a great lounge room for relaxing as well.

We had a lovely stay at Josephine’s - stunning views, comfortable accommodation with everything you need. Enjoyed visiting Apollo Bay, Otways Treetops, Triplet Falls, Wreck Beach, Princetown, 12 Apostles & Port Campbell & there is still so much more to do. Make sure to bring own food as we couldn’t recommend The Perch at Lavers Hill and not much else to choose from. Also we sadly hit a wallaby so be careful out there!

I booked at very short notice and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house is immaculate, and the location of very picturesque. I would totally recommend for a peaceful break.

This place is special and unique. The house is located on a hill and the views are to die for, better than in the pictures! Three separate decks all have wonderful views and the layout of the house is smart: if the party includes night owls and early risers they all can sleep well. There was no cell reception, but the wifi worked like a dream. It's likely you'll see at least crimson rosellas and sheep grazing I'm so happy we didn't stay at Apollo bay, but in this cottage on Killala Road: the road takes you up to the Beech Forest. Driving Killala road up was much more enjoyable (and beautiful) than the traffic jam down the Ocean Drive. Otway Retreats offered great help and flexible, warm-hearted service. Fran and Mikhala answered quickly to all our questions. I only wish we could've stayed longer. I could imagine this place is just perfect for Christmas, anniversaries, birthdays, all the special moments in your life, or just to make you feel... happy.

This place was wonderful. It was a wintery couple of days for the Great Ocean Road running event, but it suits the place perfectly! The place is very cosy and warm & we loved every minute of it. Watch out for the big kangaroos on the drive up! Next time, including some extra brekky food would be great. Thank you for having us :)

A great choice for families with teenagers - there were enough beds for my kids to each bring a friend and they all made good use of the pool and games room. Their only complaint was about the rather steep walk back to the cottage, which may challenge some. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful forest views, and the kitchen well-appointed - if there was any utensil I couldn't find or if a condiment ran out Nicole arranged for it to be delivered immediately. We enjoyed walks around the property, mountain biking, beach days and golf in Lorne and visited Sheoak Falls. A relaxing and fun long weekend.

The house was nice and clean. The view balcony view is amazing. We enjoyed our stay.

Had really nice stay at Johanna Seaside Cottages 'Farm House', was the perfect country escape we were looking for and the kids loved collecting fresh laid eggs in the morning and having access to an indoor heated pool. Only minor complaint was not being able to connect to the internet Friday evening and not being able contact our host after 5pm. That said, the property caretake (Ben) was super helpful when he checked in the next day. Would definitely recommend if looking for a country escape along the coast.

Andrew was a great host and was always very responsive. He had very detailed instructions on how to check in and use everything in the house as well as guides on walking around the property which had its own waterfall! Although it was a cold and wet weekend, we were very warm and cosy inside thanks to the heater he left on for us when we checked in and the wood fire we were able to put on over the weekend. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning charming residence! A full cottage with everything you need. Fully self contained. Extremely clean & tidy. Absolutely gorgeous. Garry was so lovely, he took the time to chat with us about the history of the property, and gave us wonderful tips on restaurants & things to do. He was very quick to answer queries. The gardens/surroundings were beautiful & peaceful. The main house was superb and a real spectacle. 10 min drive into Colac. 15 min drive to Beeac where we had the best lunch at the Farmers Arms hotel which is probably the best pub we’ve ever been to. Highly recommend you stay here! We will be back.
