Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Costa Cálida

Raúl is a fantastic host, even before we had arrived he asked us if we needed anything fetching from the shops as we had a late arrival. He was super helpful and friendly and responsive to any questions we had. The house is lovely, spacious and within walking distance to all amenities and the beach! The hot tub is an added bonus and value for money at €60 per week. It was a stressful time for as we had just made the permanent move to Spain but we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome! We spent 2 nights at Moisés' casa rural and were lucky to be the only occupants to enjoy the property. Tastefully decorated home, peaceful surroundings, great swimming pool, large enclosed and secured area for our dog to enjoy. Moisés was the perfect host and made himself available to deal with any issue. This is a place we would love to come back. Highly recommended.

Fantastic villa. Has everything you need. Pool brilliant. Paid extra to have it heated but well worth it as it was the end of may. Always quick response if you contacted them. The description and pictures match the villa. Quiet, safe area our second time in that street. Not much in walking distance so need a car. Cafe and supermarket a couple of min drive. Would book again.

The house is beautiful, everything is very clean and very well maintained. His parents were at our disposal at all times, respecting our privacy and at the same time, making sure that we did not lack anything. A spectacular house, with wonderful people. They took care of details such as: coffee machine with capsules, bottles of water, bed and feeder for our pet.... We will definitely repeat. Thank you 😊

We rented Mercedes' apartment for a week and overall the experience was very good. The apartment was in perfect condition, with beautiful views and everything was very clean. Every time we needed a utensil or appliance, we found it without a problem. We were pleasantly surprised that no mosquitoes entered even with the windows open at night, even so, we had mosquito plugs and sprays, which is appreciated. However, there were a couple of details that we would have liked to know in advance: we were not told that the pool would be under construction all week. It was a shame, as it was a service (included in the total) that we valued a lot when choosing accommodation and that, in the end, we could not enjoy. In addition, the ceiling fan did not work properly with the remote control: the light could be turned on, but we could not get it to blow air. Despite these aspects, it is a very good apartment to spend a quiet and comfortable vacation.

Perfect and very nicely decorated villa, spacious bedrooms with very good mattresses and pillows! Friendly host, nothing is too much for the slightest question! Top villa!

The accommodation was perfect for spending a few days near the coast, without the hassle of traffic and people that usually are on the beachfront. The residential area was very quiet, and we were able to rest well at night. In mid-June, the pool was usually empty, or with very few people, so we also took advantage of it a lot in the afternoons. We were able to park at the same door every day, and in some areas there were trees with shade to leave the car. The terrace is small, but enough to sit down for breakfast or dinner quietly. As the apartment is small, the air conditioning cools it very quickly. But without a doubt, the best thing about the accommodation was the communication with the host (Tais), who also left us several treats in the fridge for our arrival. Thank you very much! 😊

The stay went extremely well, we arrived quite late and Johnathan took the time to show us all the amenities and chat with us. We enjoyed the pool and had a great night. We would have stayed longer, but other adventures awaited us.

Great place to stay with very welcoming host. Swimming pool etc and the indoor/outdoor kitchen is fabulous. Dining areas inside and out. Plenty of ground for dogs. Inside was nicely done, I would say all French in style. Great fire place too, be lovely for Christmas.

Fabulous villa, with everything we needed. Not over looked at all, the pool area is amazing! Philippe was always on hand if needed, and kept us in the loop at all times. Couple of bars restaurants within a 15 minutes walk.

Well-equipped spacious house. Wide garden with a great pool. The neighborhood is very quiet and has a supermarket where to buy basic things. It is 15 mins by car from the beach. Perfect if you're looking for quiet.

Graham was the perfect host providing us with lots of information beforehand on beaches, restaurants, places to visit & golf courses. He met us on arrival & showed us where everything was & had even provided a cold bottle of fizz & a delicious Spanish cake. His apartment is beautiful with really comfortable beds & excellent showers. The best bit was the terrace with amazing sea views. He has thought of everything & there is a real sense of thought & care for his visitors e.g. he makes it very clear that you are welcome to use all the herbs, spices, oils etc. He even provides beach towels which is great. Our favourite beach was Playa Amarillo which was a 5 minute drive away although the beach in front of the apartment was good for swimming if it was a bit choppy in other places. We visited Lorca & Mojacar for days out & Aguilon Golf which were all easy to get to. We would definitely recommend this apartment. Thank you Graham for a lovely stay.

The villa is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you could need, there are lots of lovely social areas, so with 7 adults and 4 children it still felt very spacious. The beach is a very short walk down a quiet road and there is a great restaurant with beautiful views. There are plenty of eating options around and a supermarket nearby (a very useful wheely trolley is provided in the house!). Leif and Sylwie, were really helpful and great at communicating. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Incredible location! I am rich from getting to experiencing the magnificent views from both balconies. I spent almost all my time at the house outside haha. Everything is accessible and walkable from the house. There is plenty of space and they were accommodating of our dog. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. The hosts were fantastic, definitely recommend and want to stay again soon!

Fina our host, who is ultra friendly and couldn’t be more helpful, was quick to respond for any questions and cooked us all (12 guests) a fabulous paella . We were delighted to receive fresh eggs every morning to make a large Spanish omelette enjoyed by all. The swimming pool was cleaned every morning before we got up. It’s a fab place for a large family gathering.

Super quiet,the beautiful little house,to repeat!

The apartment is large and bright, very clean and tastefully decorated. Comfy bed and kitted out with everything you would need for your stay. The view is amazing, you could never tire from sitting on the balcony day or evening. There is a walk way in front of the apartment but it is never noisy, infact in the daytime, you hardly see anyone. The jetty is a great spot to sit and read or swim in the lagoon. The town has some restaurants and a few bars, if your driving there are other resorts close by. I would definitely return and recommend to friends and family. Communication with Dave and Bryan was also good.

Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, in a perfect position for beach & town. Balcony looks out to the sea, wonderful sunrises. Gemma leaves you all he information necessary, easy access to the apartment. Had a wonderful stay & would definitely return.

Marta's place was more than we could have wished for... The house has everything and feels like home from home. The combination of garden pool and direct access on to the beach felt like such a privilege. We were a little worried that the building work in the next door plot might disturb us but it really wasn't an issue. Getting up for sunrise on the beach and snorkeling with octopus are just some of the memories that will stay with us forever. Thank you Marta for sharing your beautiful house.

Very nice and quiet accommodation close to the sea. Some small details are appreciated (soap, shampoo and laundry). Street parking was easy (off-season). The directions to the accommodation are clear and communication with the host is smooth.
