Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Croatan Beach, Virginia

The kitchen had everything you would want. My grandkids loved the video games. The closets were so large my grandkids called one of them their secret fort. We all had a wonderful time! This was our first Airbnb experience. We will definitely try again.

Me and my family loved our stay. The pool and hot tub was great and lots of fun, we didn’t expect how deep it was. The mini golf course is a good time as well. There was so much to enjoy at the house we barely had time to go to the beach. And the host and owner were extremely friendly, and helpful.

I can’t begin to describe our recent visit!! We stayed from Sunday 6-1 to Thursday 6-5. My husband and I had our 10 year old daughter and 3 of her best friends along w our 3 small furry babies. The house is “nestled” on a sweet friendly street. The house lake view SURROUNDS the house along with the outside balcony. It was beautiful to see the ducks and various birds every day. The house was extremely clean! I didn’t have to do any cleaning before we unpacked. The garage had everything!!! Bikes, beach stuff along w anything u can think of. There was plenty of outside sitting areas with a private outside shower. I used it!! Water was nice! The beach was literally a 10 mins walk! We rode the bikes and walked to the beach, a couple of times a day. The boardwalk is very dog friendly so we were able to bring them. The pier from the boardwalk has people fishing. I rode 1 of the bikes around the every day! W have been using Airbnb for years and this was the best experience! Bob is the best ❤️

Tricia was responsive and very accommodating. It was a pleasure and a breeze to stay at her space. It was clean and stocked with all baby amenities like toys crib and highchair. It was close to the beach and to many attractions.

Family vacation for almost a week and everyone loved it! We definitely recommend families to come to the Blue Octopus for their next visit to Ocean View-Willoughby Spit. Friendly, clean and with all the amenities for the whole family.

The home is cozy, clean, and in a great location. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, and just minutes from the boardwalk and popular VA beach restaurants. Jillian responds quickly and I only wish we could have stayed longer.

I can't say enough positive things about Alice and her home. She was incredibly welcoming, and made my entire weekend a delight. Her home is beautiful, and it was a very comfortable stay. But Alice's kindness and generosity really went above and beyond. Thank you again!

Audrey’s quilted corners by the bay was perfect for a peaceful, relaxation vacation with my sister. We enjoyed being close to the quiet, peaceful beachfront and the bike/walking path into the state park. Highly recommend for a relaxing virginia beach experience. When we experienced issues with bugs entering the room (which is a very normal occurrence in the southern climate especially in the rain), Audrey quickly contacted us and eased our minds by spraying for bugs inside the room and outside the house. Audrey did everything she could to help. Be aware of the possibility of bugs given the nature of the climate and more wooded, residential area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Leo’s Airbnb was GREAT. He was extremely responsive and helpful. Had great recommendations for places to grab a bite to eat. The Airbnb itself was great, quiet, and clean. I would definitely suggest booking with him!

Seamless, easy, clean. The location was perfect for us with easy access to the beach and major roads. Our stay here was amazing and simple.

Its a nice cozy spot thats right by the water with plenty of restaurants to check out near by. A majority of them are walkable distances. There is also easy access to the highway if needed to travel further out. The area is very quiet with almost no noise. Surrounded by a community of families so you'll quickly feel right at home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Josh & Maegan’s place right on the beach! The building is on the last block of the boardwalk, which is a great location because you can get right on the boardwalk directly outside the building, but since it's at the end of the boardwalk, it is much quieter and less busy than further down. The building is older but very well kept up, as was the apartment. The building's pool is small but nice, and there is a grassy sitting area with chairs and tables directly off the beach, which was lovely to sit at. The apartment is small (would not recommend three people squeezing in there), but perfect for two people if you are not spending much time inside and has all the amenities you need to cook simple meals. I would absolutely stay again!

Clean! Responsive! Walk to the water

My husband and I visited Steff's AirBnB on our Honeymoon and were beyond pleased! She provided so much for her guests, including eggs and bacon for breakfast!! Her space was so clean and welcoming. It was the perfect, quiet spot for us. I found the bed to be a little too firm for my personal taste, but I still got a decent enough night sleep and I will absolutely be back if we come down to Williamsburg again. The backyard was so adorable and peaceful! I only wish the weather would have been better to enjoy the fire pit and smores kit!! Thank you Steff for having us!

Lovely carriage house on large and private property, very quiet and peaceful. Nikki's home is elegant and delightful. When we arrived it was set up for our arrival with the most romantic and dreamy lighting with music, my husband and I were both delighted!! The apartment style carriage is well decorated with tasteful art and antiques. Nikki and her family were the perfects hosts, ensuring everything we (and our pups) needed during our extended stay. 100% would recommend to anyone traveling in the area, you will be well looked after by Nikki.

The only issue we had was our code for the building and parking did not work at first! Pam was very quick to resolve! There are no elevators in parking garage, I would take my stuff in at the entrance and then park! Dolphin run staff was not much help! We had a second car that we were supposed to get a parking permit for. They just told us to park and not worry about signs that clearly stated towed with no permit. Our car did NOT get towed!

Was looking for a place to stay last min. Host, Charles responded very quickly to reservation request and needs. Place was well cleaned and equipped with beach toys and board games which our kids loved.

Susan's Airbnb is the place to be in Virginia Beach. We felt at home right away and loved to short walk to the beach. We would definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at Crystal’s while in town for a graduation. Crystal was proactive with directions, recommendations, and instructions, and she responded quickly to questions. The place was nicely decorated, and well-stocked with kitchen gadgets, beach chairs, games, and other necessities. This is a nice place for a getaway.

This was our second time staying at one of Rebecca and Sean’s VA Beach condos — and the experience did not disappoint! This is just a perfect location, at the very end of the Boardwalk, with a private grassy lawn and outdoor seating just for the condo residents. Lots of restaurants in the surrounding blocks. Our favorite thing is the view — you look right out onto the ocean from the patio, and you can see the beach and the sunrise from the comfortable bed each morning. We spent unhurried hours sitting on the patio in the evenings enjoying the sound of lapping waves and the night sky. This cozy studio was just right for the two of us. Highly recommend. I’ve no doubt we’ll stay there again in the future!

We enjoyed staying at Kelly's place in VB. Its an ideal location for anyone who wants to stay right at the boardwalk. We witnessed amazing sunrises and moonrises. The ocean was right in front of us and from the 6th floor, the view was expansive. A lot of restaurants were also nearby. Kelly was always very communicative, polite and professional. The apartment was clean with the kitchen well stocked with utensils The bedrooms were of a pretty large size. And parking was on the premises. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and holiday for us. We strongly recommend Kelly's place.

Great place! Enjoyed our stay. Perfect if attending event at the sports center because your located equal distance to it and the beach so you can easily walk to either. No complaints at all

My family really enjoyed our vacation. It was a great location to the beach and a private pool. It was our first vavation w/ an 18month old and 1 on the way. Randy was very quick to respond to any questions. A+
