Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Cromer

We were very happy with our stay - it was quiet and peaceful, the house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean with a lovely garden, close to the sea and to Sheringham centre. We especially enjoyed the coastal path walk and our many stopovers at Whelks Coppers tea rooms. The beach front is lovely on a sunny day (we did get quite a bit of rain but that is the British summer!) I also recommend the nooks and crannies of Peter' s (secondhand) Bookshop, and the fish and chips at Seafare.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

An excellent location as a base to visit coast and inland locations. A tight turn off the main road - so just be aware of cars speeding round the corner. Attention to detail was excellent from the hosts - fresh flowers, dog blankets and the largest welcome ‘pack’ we’ve encountered, including a number of homemade products - over and beyond expectation. We had the most wonderful time staying at The Little Barn in Topcroft. It is a well kept and comfortable cottage, with all the amenities you could want. We loved the location as it is tucked out of the way of the busiest areas but still well connected to the coast and towns/cities for trips out. Hannah is a superb host who will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and settled (providing us with some delicious home made apple juice too!). We will definitely be returning and would recommend!

A nice few days away with the family. Great location - central but peaceful. Easy walking distance to all amenities and the beach. Parking is a bit tight for a bigger car.

Great property, great host. The house is exactly as the pictures, clean and has everything you need. Short walk to the centre of Sheringham and the beach, ideal for us as one of our party had limited mobility. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully visit again.

We loved our stay. The property was quiet and cosy and it was wonderful to have views over the fields. The private garden area was a great bonus too and was a beautiful space to sit with our dog on between trips out. Jane had organised some lovely touches that added to stay and we had everything we needed. It was also a perfect base to explore the area. We hope to go back one day!

4 night stay, lodge is beautiful and just like the photos. Spotless and had everything you could think of needing supplied. Dean was very friendly, very helpful and responsive. Very comfortable felt very much like a luxury lodge with a fabulous large hot tub. I would fully recommend a stay and look forward to returning. Thank you Dean for a fabulous stay . 🙂

Booked at very late notice but thankfully Ben got back to me quickly and was very responsive throughout the stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need and more. Felt very cosy and relaxed there. Loved the working stove. Great spacious parking facilities. There’s a hotel about 10 mins walk away that serves good food. Perfect location for exploring Norfolk.

We spent a lovely weekend at Tony and Caryn's flat. It's clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. It was great to have a place with parking a short, easy walk to the city centre and we would definitely stay there again. Just one word of caution - if you have the shower on full power the water is very hot regardless of the temperature setting.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Sheringham. The flat was extremely well located and was spacious and comfortable. Such a bonus to have outside space too. Will definitely return.

A lovely peaceful spot with pleasant village walk to the river from the door, as well as easy access to the main road. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything we needed and felt homely and clean. The riverside location was lovely, although rather more overgrown than shown on the pictures. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location for a weekend in Norwich, however it is very loud at night. We also had a few people sleeping in the entrance of the flat on the first night but they appeared to have left by the morning. The flat is so lovely inside, has everything you need and is very spacious. However there was a lot of dust on the stairs and the bannisters. The location is perfect for walking everywhere, also the parking is literally about 2 mins away! Overall we loved our weekend and will definitely be back soon!

This is our maybe 5th or 6th stay at Ivor and Karen’s place, this is always our first choice when we come to Norwich. Their place never disappoints. Everything is as noted in the description, but always better. They think of every eventuality. Given the hot weather recently they even provided a fan. We will definitely be back. Better than any hotel!

We had such a lovely stay. The flat is very clean, nicely decorated and the outdoor area is beautiful. The sauna was fab and we loved taking a dip in the water. Would definitely stay again!

We really loved the location of this place. It is super walkable to get to town, every person we came into contact with was super friendly, and we loved exploring the area/surrounding areas. It’s also very close to Holkham Beach and Brancaster Staithe which we enjoyed visiting during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Nicky! We hope to stay with you again on a future UK trip!

The annex was easy to find with clear, helpful instructions. The surroundings were lovely and all the facilities were just as described, absolutely great. We had a fantastic nights sleep ready for our onward journey. There were lovely little extras waiting for us on arrival and one beautiful dog, Mabel who came over for cuddles. Thank you for letting us stay.

Had a great few days’ stay in Annetta’s house – loved the character of the place and surrounding gardens. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Annetta is extremely friendly and helpful and her contact beforehand was very good. Nice touches include the hot tub and breakfast bits in the fridge. This is an ideal location to relax and explore the coast and inland. I would definitely recommend and intend to return to explore more of the area. Many thanks!
