Fantastic host & properties. Well equipped with a lot of amenities. Spacious, luxurious, comfortable condo, with lots of privacy. Very responsive and clear hosts. Looked exactly like the photos. Would definitely come again

Plenty of activities to keep the kids & adults entertained. The kids said they wanted to stay there for forever & ever. It was magical!! Not to mention that king size bed gave me the best sleep I’ve had postpartum. You couldn’t ask for more :) The cabin was packed with everything you needed & more! Thank you so much !!

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

It was a great cabin with full of things provide to do to spend the days away from home. Enough to do for days we didnt have plans to enjoy some cards around the open fire or enjoy some time in the hot tub, or have a friendly game of corn hole

Kyle has done an amazing job with this cabin, it’s clear that so much thought has been put into everything. It is decorated beautifully and has everything you might need to feel at home. We loved spending time here for our anniversary and can’t wait to return with our kids next time.

We stayed this weekend to break up the dullness of winter. Our kids loved the cabin and the clubhouse. It was such a cozy space to relax. I loved the wood stove! I would recommend to my friends!

We had a great time at this place for our annual friends trip. Slept nine adults, and other than being a little cramped in the bunkbeds, all was wonderful. Property was as described, instructions were clear, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The weather was not ideal on our trip, so we spent a lot of time indoors. Space is not large, but they do a great job with how they have things laid out to make it work. It was perfect for our group.

We had a great time at the cabin, the hosts and cabin are top notch and would highly recommend this place to anyone considering.

Nothing but praises for Patricia & John. Out of all of my airBnB stays, the welcoming rustic environment they have created at the Balsams is untouched in comparison to others & holds a special place for us. This was our second stay and it only expanded on the amazing first time we had. Simple things like local suggestions, dvd titles on hand to browse through (no cable or wifi here folks), owners available to just talk added so much to the care of our stay + comforts available. Plus the history of the Balsams alone adds depth for those willing to dig in a little bit on the knowledge provided (check out the cabin binder for more). Thank you both again - we look forward to our next trip & wish you both the best!

The cabin was perfect. So many useful amenities. Perfect for our family snowmobiling trip.

Rustic, private and peaceful retreat. No outside distractions only nature. The half mile Loop was great for walking our dogs and we did it every day. We were halfway between Mackinaw City and Petoskey. Both were great to visit and walk the dogs. We found parks and trails all around to hike and enjoy.

The Cabin was exactly as advertised, a peaceful retreat in a quiet area with a cool hippie vibe. I loved the old General Electric appliances and the atmosphere of the entire property! Annie was very proactive in letting us know to reach out if we needed any thing. We were able to relax and enjoy the serene nature of the property. We were also within a 30-45 minute drive of everything we wanted to do. I would recommend checking out lavender hill farms which is close by the area! Thank you Annie and Jeff for allowing us to stay at the peace retreat and enjoy a restful weekend!

The peaceful cabin was the perfect spot for our family vacation. We felt at home in a quiet and cozy setting. Boyne City was just a short drive away and offered plenty to do. Our kids enjoyed playing at Avalanche Park and getting some delicious local ice cream. We visited several surrounding beaches and spent hours rockhounding (our favorite family hobby). The cabin porch was the perfect spot for enjoying a good book and listening to the birds sing. We took advantage of the board games in the evenings or cozied up in the king size bed to enjoy a movie. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back someday.

Amy’s cabin was perfect for our stay! It was super cute, private, and conveniently close to Boyne. The location made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer while still feeling like a cozy getaway. Even when we ran into a small issue, Amy responded instantly and helped us resolve it right away. Her attentiveness and hospitality made our stay even better. We would definitely stay here again!

Great property. Only saw one of the cabins on the property, but it was perfect for my group and I. If you are looking for a private, quiet, and peaceful break from reality then I would highly recommend this place.

This cabin is just adorable. We love rustic and an old fashioned approach. This cabin met those needs, with some very convenient modern amenities. The cabin had all we needed to eat in if we chose to. Also a helpful handbook with restaurant recommendations I celebrated a birthday at this cabin with a special message and birthday wish from Angela. She also asked if we needed anything. Angela was very attentive and helpful. We would definitely rent again, if we are planning on an outing in this area! Thank you, Angela!!!

We loved Lynn and Jeff’s cabin. The cabin was very clean and it’s in a great location. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very peaceful, cozy, and we loved being right on the lake. It was also in a great location to reach Mackinaw City to board the ferry to Mackinac Island, only about a 10 minute drive. Michael provided us with some great recommendations and helped us feel right at home. We would certainly stay here again!

Second time to stay at The Moose Lodge, simply put, twice as nice!! Can't begin to tell you how wonderful the lodge is kept up, 5 Stars!! The hosts are just the best, very much the best host ever, no kidding. With everything we did honestly the FRONT PORCH was just our favorite. We will be back, we travel a lot, TOP 3 AirB&Bs we love.
