Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Daratsos

My boyfriend and I stayed at the property for 5 days and were very please with our stay. The apartment is on the first floor of a beautiful modern house. The apartment was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. Highlighted is the beautiful terrace with Jacuzzi. The location is great. It is about a 15-minute drive to the center of Chania. Several beaches are within walking distance. The house itself is quietly located. It offers a good starting point for exploring Crete. Katerina and her husband are great hosts. Upon arrival, a fresh Greek salad, oranges and wine awaited us. We got fresh vegetables from the garden a few days later. Katerina was always available and very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Overall we would recommend the accommodation! 5/5 stars!

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. The location is quiet and offers a great view of the sea – perfect for unwinding. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The landlords were friendly and helpful and made the stay pleasant. All in all, a nice house for a relaxing beach vacation.

Absolutely magical! Roula’s stone house is an incredibly picturesque and charming place to stay. The terrace is a dream – shaded naturally by a tree and offering a stunning view of the sunset. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished, with everything you might need. A little heads-up for tall people: the doorway to the terrace is a bit low – you might want to duck (don’t worry, we laughed every time!). There are some fantastic tavernas just around the corner, and it’s the perfect starting point for scenic hikes through the area. We loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Great stay with great host. Theodoreos always replayed within minutes. A beautiful house near amazing beaches, a nice street with restaurants and easy access to buses and whatever ells you want too explore of Crete. My warmest recommendations both of the house and of Theodoreos as host.

A place to feel good - we were not here for the second time without reason! The accommodation is clean, well-equipped and ideally located – you are on the beach in a few minutes, but still quietly and relaxed. It was already our second stay, and this time we felt completely comfortable. A very special thank you to Vagelio: she is incredibly warm and helpful. When I suddenly fell ill, she immediately supported us – with as much care as if we were family. This is not a given. 🥰 We can only highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back!

Absolutely loved this airbnb. Small deck overlooking the Chania Bay lighthouse and all the restaurants surrounding the bay. Airbnb at end and had a great restaurant (with blue chairs) that had great food. Beds were comfortable and back bedroom was very quiet as well. The owner met us at check-in and explained everything. Top deck was very nice to sit, my husband actually pulled out his laptop and worked on the table for awhile. He was in heaven. But we enjoyed sitting on small deck off living space too. Husband and myself w our two young adult children loved that we were so close to everything. Do not hesitate to book this airbnb.

Katerina was amazing in going above and beyond! She helped us with taxis, gave us recommendations and always went out of her way to better our experience - couldn’t have had a better stay! The pool was beautiful and peaceful and if we wanted something busier we were only a short walk to the beach. Overall amazing - thank you so much!

We stayed at Roula's house and, from the beginning, communication was quick and easy. He personally wanted to wait for us even though the arrival was scheduled before midnight, and we appreciated this very much. The house is very nice and technological. The rooms are very clean. Beautiful outdoor veranda with large table for breakfast or dinner. Nice TV, even though we didn't use it. Quiet area with great bakery and nice supermarkets, outside the city but very easily accessible. I highly recommend it!! Whoever takes it will surely be fine.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

A Place of Magical Sunsets How wonderful it feels to write this review after our three-week stay in this fantastic apartment. Cozy, bright, spacious, and meticulously designed down to the smallest detail. We stayed here with our two children and my mother, and everyone was absolutely delighted. The caring host, Afroditi, welcomed us with wine and fresh fruits, and gave us excellent recommendations for local cafés and restaurants. We particularly loved Fourogatoss—definitely worth mentioning! We truly felt at home here, enjoying soft towels, air conditioning in every room, spotless white bedding, beautiful dishes, and, of course, breathtaking sunsets right from the living room windows. Surrounded by greenery, the terrace was fragrant with flowers morning and evening, and we woke up each day to the gentle sound of birdsong. The apartment’s location is perfect, with stunning beaches within walking distance—we especially recommend Golden Beach. Falassarna Beach is a pleasant 50-minute

It was a great size apartment with a great outside space. The pool was lovely. It is a modern clean living space with fabulous welcome touches having wine, homemade pies fruit and cake, Anastasia changed towels on request and gave us recommendations of restaurants. Always available for enquiries, would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a stunning apartment

Our host was very careful for details, kitchen had all necessary stuff, fridge, etc. everything was clean. Host gift us welcoming gifts and that was lovely ❤️. Nice location, beach is close and you can go to supermarket in 10min on bus. And 25 min to Chania, bus stop is near. Living there was a pleasure.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

It was an amazing staying in Stefania’s house I’m very happy for the hospitality we had , she prepared a lunch for us when we arrived that was the kindest thing an air bnb owner did for me but beside this speaking about the house my family and I were amazed because the house had really everything EVERYTHING Landry iron iron table hairdryer all kitchen appliances That was the most complete house I ever had and I really was happy for this experience I feel so satisfied .thank you Stefania may the Lord bless you and your family :)

Anastasia’s apartment is really nice, the view is amazing, and the surrounding neighbourhood is peaceful perfect for a peaceful trip.

We had a very good stay in the apartment. The welcome was perfect, the place matches exactly the photos. The plus is the outdoor shower: very nice by 35 degrees. If we go back to Chania, we'll book this place

Amazing place with an amazing view. Extremely clean with extremely pleasant and responsive hosts. We flew in late and they even met us in the city centre to pick us up. It’s about a 20 minute walk away from the city centre (easy walk) and the perfect place to escape into quiet without ever being too far from it all. Couldn’t recommend this place more- thanks so much!

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! Aggelos is extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. He provided recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for our stay. The place is very close to the downtown area with many shops, restaurants, and bakeries. It was also a quick walk to the bus stop. We could not recommend this place enough!
