Beautiful lodge overlooking fields with horses. Very clean and well equipped.

Brilliant stay here with a beautiful house and surroundings. Anna was a really responsive, helpful and flexible host.

We had a lovely relaxing stay here for our wedding anniversary. The pod was very well equipped and comfortable although we spent most of our time outside on the deck and in the hot tub as the weather was so good! We are keen walkers and there were plenty of decent hikes in the area and some good pubs for food & drink afterwards.

Anne was very welcoming, lovely little hideaway. Enjoyed a night here for our anniversary and everything we needed was there. enjoyed a night in the hot tub. fantastic scenery around. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you for a peaceful, night away from the real world.

Great host, lovely lodge, perfect location, walking distance to Tutbury. Would recommend to anyone for a staycation!

Was a lovely little get away. brilliant views. nice and quite Host was amazing and had very quick responses and checked that everything was ok, also gave spot on instructions.

The Hut had everything you needed for a weekend away. Sits in a beautiful location and is very peaceful. Clean, tidy and attention to detail. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

Had a very nice time at Lucas's. Weather was excellent 👌. Scenary was awesome. So many different varieties of animals and so close up. Not a fan of cats but they kept their distance. Enjoyed the hot tub too Thank you Lucas. 😊

We stayed here with our 4 children for 1 night on our way home after a camping trip to break up our journey home. Thank you John & Lauren for a fantastic stay, we had everything we needed and the shower was amazing too - just what we needed after camping! We would definitely come back and stay for longer next time.

We had a lovely two night stay at Rebecca’s cabin. It was suitably equipped for a short stay and was warm and cosy. It is very well located for Matlock Bath, Crich tramway museum and the East Midlands Designer Outlet. Good recommendations were provided. It was safe and quiet for small children and they enjoyed their stay too. Thank you very much for an enjoyable mini-break!

I stayed for 4 nights whilst in between house sale/completion as I needed somewhere peaceful and private to work. Susan was so helpful with what was a very last minute booking and provided loads of info for checking in and the stay in general. I was able to come and go flexibly and enjoy the privacy, but could also contact Susan anytime I needed and enjoyed chatting with her briefly. I would 100% recommend and I'm really grateful for my stay.

Host was very good at providing information about the local area which I had asked questions about. A lovely Lodge and the hot tub was fantastic to relax in after a long day at Alton Towers. We would stay here again.

Very clean and nice lodge. the listing does not mention this is inside a Gulliver's Valley which was a bit of surprise to me and my band whilst we're on tour. it was a fun stay but it was tricky for us as we couldn't park our van anywhere near the lodge.

Really lovely stay for our girls weekend. Perfect place for a quiet and chilled weekend which was very much needed! Close to lovely pubs and walks which was all we wanted. The lodge had everything we needed - couldn’t fault it. Definitely would consider coming back again. 😊😊

We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return one day. The location is perfect - full of nature and so peaceful. Sarah and Paul are fantastic, completely leave you to enjoy your holiday but also extremely available to offer local guidance and a friendly chat (as well as an alpaca feed!!) The pod is stunning - Sarah and Paul have thought of everything you could possibly need and the cleanliness and quality of the pod is outstanding. We loved it so much - thank you!!!

Where to begin? An endless list of praises! Sarah, Paul & Izzie made us feel at home right away. We stayed in the Apple pod for our toddler’s 3rd birth anniversary weekend, along with our one year old. Idyllic surroundings, immersed in nature. Only that morning we had mentioned the occasion and a few hours later when we arrived, the pod was decorated with birthday bunting and an LED light. We were also treated to feeding the Alpacas shortly after arrival. The hosts are very responsive to messages and happy to provide local recommendations for activities & restaurants. Lovely double height pod that comfortably sleeps 4 with lovely outdoor patio with good seating, barbecue and fire pit. Lots of goodies & treats in the kitchen for the whole family. If we had to look for “opportunities” to further enhance our stay, toiletries for showering would be most welcomed. There was only a lovely organic shampoo but luckily we had brought our own conditioner, shower gel & moisturiser / hand cream.

Had a fabulous 3 night stay here . The lodge was perfect in every way . The furnishings made it feel homely, Every detail was thought about including the welcome book which had so much info on things to do places to eat etc . It was perfect location for all the things we was doing for example 30 min drive to Alton towers . On booking I asked for a celebration package as a suprise for my husbands birthday and it was more then I ever imagined the ladies put up Happy birthday balloons , had a cake and some ciders my husband was very happy .. Would 100% recommend for people to stay here and we will deffo be returning .
