I’ve travelled quite a bit using Airbnb, and hands down, this has been the best host I’ve experienced on the app. They went above and beyond on multiple occasions to make our trip special — from picking us up and dropping us off at the Bellano train station, to giving us fantastic restaurant recommendations and local tips. I would highly recommend this place to others. The place was small but was everything you needed for a couple to feel homely.

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Ivana. La maison est très charmante, d'une propreté impeccable dans un cadre splendide, offrant une vue absolument magnifique ! Si vous cherchez le dépaysement, le calme et une nature verdoyante, vous êtes au bon endroit! Ivana est une hôte très attentionnée, généreuse et sympathique qui a rendu notre séjour mémorable. Een heerlijk huisje in een authentiek dorp. We hebben genoten van het prachtige uitzicht vanaf het terras op de lekkere bank, heerlijk geslapen op de goede bedden (ook de sofabank) en de regendouche was ook super. Het contact met Kathi en Ivan was zowel snel als heel vriendelijk, gebruik vooral hun reisgids want daar staan hele goede aanbevelingen in. Pognana is een pareltje, je kunt mooie wandelingen maken naaf boven en op het 'strand' beneden zit je in no time. Bar Sonia boven is heel goed en gezellig, je bent er zo een vaste klant. Ook Marvin, onze hond, heeft genoten, er was nog een verrassing voor hem bij aankomst, heel lief! Je zit heerlijk privé in het huisje, soms hoor je de bovenburen, maar dat was niet storend. Van Bar Sonia hoor je overigens niets. Heel erg bedankt dat we mochten blijven en hopelijk tot ziens!

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und sehr gut gelegen. Man hat einen traumhaften Blick auf den See und einige Wandermöglichkeiten im Umkreis. Die Wohnung liegt etwa 10 Autominuten von Colico entfernt und es ist super ruhig. Der Pool und die Pool-Liegen sind auch super.

Beautiful surroundings and well-worth the walk into town (there’s a very easy/safe path from this property into town - just expect to get some good exercise walking back up).

If you've ever dreamed of staying in a gorgeous villa, nestled high in the mountains, with incredible views of Lake Como then Villa Nina is the place for you. Claudio and Maria are incredibly kind and responsive to all inquiries - they made us feel right at home. The benefit of being further from the hustle and bustle of Varenna (approx 6-8 min drive) is that you can experience a truly local experience. I opened my window each morning to incredible views with sounds of the beautiful stream nearby. Some of the amenities (veranda, pool) are shared but this was not an issue for our family. We were able to enjoy everything on the property. The villa itself is well-appointed with everything you need for your stay. We traveled as a family of four (2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 older child) and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. We look forward to our next stay at Villa Nina!

Position position position. A cosy apartment 20 seconds walk to the cute little harbour in Bellano. A great base to explore Lago Di Como but away from the rat race of Bellagio and Varenna. The apartment itself is small but equipped well enough with everything you should need. Lots of nice decorative touches. Located in one of the many atmospheric lanes of Bellano. If arriving after hours, don’t confuse the school with the Town Hall as we did which made for a process finding the apartment itself. Our mistake. It’s also 3 flights up if you have mobility issues but good exercise for us. All over it was a wonderful week in a cute unit.

It's a very peaceful place with a nice terrace and a lot of plants. The road is quite audible from the bedroom and the curtain is very thin, so good to bring earplugs and an eye mask. All in all, it was a pleasant stay, I would recommend it.

We had an awesome stay in Marco's appartment, very nice to combine tranquility of reading a book at the swimming pool with the more touristic Lago di Como visits to several villages.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Casa Alba war wirklich traumhaft - wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt! Es ist sauber, ordentlich und man findet alles (und noch mehr) für eine schöne Auszeit vom Alltag. Jana & Dennis waren stets erreichbar, freundlich und zuvorkommend, haben uns jede Menge Tipps gegeben und uns sogar an den Erzeugnissen ihres Gartens teilhaben lassen. Es war eine wundervolle Zeit und wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen für jeden der ein paar ruhige Tage verbringen möchte. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

We will be back! Sylvia was a great host, offering so many suggestions and with train construction a mess her husband helped us get from Lecco and he was so personable and kind! This place is beautiful and located in the perfect spot within walking distance to the lakefront restaurants and shops! It was like a dream staying here! Even left us a prosecco to toast our arrival in a heavenly place! Thank you for making our stay perfect!!

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

We had a great stay. Arriving by ferry, almost opposite the apartment, Gian was waiting to greet us. The apartment is just as described, perfect for a few nights. Gian offered us lots of suggestions, including tips for the hiking we planned to do up the mountain, which was amazing. A beautiful place to stay.

Alessia was a wonderful and responsive host. She met us at check in and was very flexible with our arrival time. She helped us to get settled and immediately offered us some lunch recommendations and even helped us set up a boat tour to go on during our trip. Definitely ask her about this! The space was spotless and exactly as pictured. Parking was easy and free. One thing to note is that you should be prepared for the steep hill you need to climb to get back to the apartment! Do not underestimate it! But overall this was a lovely stay with an amazing host with GORGEOUS lake views and a huge balcony.

Great place to stay in Varenna! Beautiful apartment with great recommendations and booklets left in the apartment. Locality wise it was perfect with being right beside the train station and walking distance of the ferry. Very nice local restaurants. We had a great stay. 5 stars from us :)

The views are even better than the photos! It was absolutely beautiful, what a special place to stay. We loved the spa facilities too and the host was really friendly and helpful. Fully recommend!

Die Kommunikation auch schon im Vorfeld war sehr freundlich und die Anreise war somit einfach und entspannt. Wir wurden, als wir ankamen, ganz herzlich in Empfang genommen. Die Wohnung ist toll und wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. Es ist alles durchdacht und fehlt an Nichts. Das habe ich bisher selten erlebt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und ich kann diesen Ort zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Serena's place is absolutely lovely, we felt right at home straight away. The accomodation is spotlessly clean and in a very pretty area that is easily accessed by car or public transport. there is a free night bus that runs up and down the road to Varenna between 7pm-Midnight which is very convenient. Perledo is a very tranquil place with fantastic views. We were checked in by Serena's father who was very helpful and then visited by Serena soon after. Both were very lovely and helpful and passed great knowledge of their local area. We were even lucky enough to get a free pass to Vezio castle which had some of the best views I've seen.

Dit is een geweldige plek om te wonen. Je hebt een fantastisch uitzicht vanaf het grote balkon en bent helemaal voor jezelf. Heel privé. De grote leefkeuken is zeer goed uitgerust. Er zijn ook verschillende basisproducten om te koken. We werden begroet met koekjes, chips en jam en een lekkere fles Italiaanse schuimwijn. Naast de keuken is er ook een grote living met zithoek en tv. Boven zijn er drie grote slaapkamers en twee badkamers. Ook gezellig balkon op het eerste verdiep Het huis is groot en geschikt voor meerdere personen. Het huis ligt ongeveer 150 meter van de weg. Je kunt er komen via een stenen pad. Parkeren kan langs de straat. De verhuurder Anna Mariaen haar dochter zijn erg aardig, alles is goed geregeld en we voelden ons erg welkom. Er zijn veel kleine strandjes en Menaggio in de buurt. Wij komen graag terug.
