Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Washington

My coworkers and I had a great stay at Colin's place during a 2-week work trip. The unit is very spacious and well furnished, and great for longer-term stays - it's also situated near a lot of excellent restaurants (like the Coupe, our favorite restaurant in DC). Colin is very responsive to any issues that might arise, and the neighbors are in contact with him in case of any emergencies (like saving me when some maintenance guys accidentally locked me out of the basement unit!) Would recommend!

Janesh was a fantastic host. We stayed for 8 days and they brought over extra towels mid -week. They accommodated our checkin and checkout times. They had everything we needed including toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and even shampoo! excellent home and excellent host!

Was a great stay for my wife and I. Felt like we lived there when we arrived, and it was a Beautiful space!

Very nice home and very good location. Parking is a plus. Samir is very good host and response time is immediate.

If I could give the location of this home more than 5 stars, I would. Very easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, groceries, and the Metro.

I highly recommend Jonathan's place for a stay in D.C. We were a group of college friends gathering for 3 nights and we all loved our stay. Comfortable beds, great gathering spaces and easy location to get around. We loved the thoughtful touches too - great snacks and lots of bathroom supply amenities. Thank you Jonathan!

Beautiful park-like setting that’s near the red line and the Connecticut Ave corridor, but is super quiet at night! Natasha is so sweet and caring - it’s a unique stay for sure!

Great spot! Close to so much! Quiet walkable, neighborhood. Apartment was well appointed and comfortable. It is up a flight of stairs if mobility is an issue. Hosts were quick to reply and answer questions. We will definitely stay here again!

We went with our elderly parents to DC and stayed at Lala’s place. It was very comfortable even for our parents. The place is clean and an easy uber ride to famous monuments and museums. Thank you for such a great stay!

Maricel's apartment was perfect for us, and Maricel was an extremely thoughtful, friendly and responsive host. We drove down, and didn't want to use the car once there, so the combination of on-site off-street parking and the central highly walkable location were almost too good to be true! We were able to enjoy good long walks down to the National Mall and museums, and also up across Rock Creek Park to the Zoo, and another time up around the Cathedral. The apartment itself is extremely clean and uncluttered, and cheerfully warm and welcoming, with a peaceful aura within which to relax and feel at home. With Trader Joe's just up the street we had everything we needed to self-cater. The huge windows provide a light and airy feel, looking out onto lovely tree-lined streets, and the balcony is a very nice bonus. The neighborhood feels safe, with lots of young people out running, walking dogs or just walking. In summary, we 100% recommend Maricel and her apartment!!

Alana’s place is really right in the middle of Mt. Pleasant — one of DC’s best neighborhoods. Short walk to breakfast tacos at Tejana, ice cream at MDI, pupusas at Ercilias, the metro, bike share, Malcom X park, etc. It’s amazingly quiet for being right in the middle of everything. A great home base for a DC visit.

We enjoyed our stay in DC and we wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else. Mark and Amy were very helpful with all my questions before we arrived and during. Loved the place because it was walkable to the capitol and metro!

Stayed for six nights on a work trip to DC. This was everything we wanted and needed. Close to stores for groceries, walkable to Metro, quiet and peaceful. Host was incredibly responsive and bent over backward to accommodate us. Exactly what you want/hope an AirBnB stay to be like!

This unit for perfect for our quick trip to DC. It was clean, easy to access and in a beautiful part of Capitol Hill neighborhood.

If I could give this stay 10 stars, I would! My spouse and I were visiting our son who lives in DC, and this was the perfect home base for our trip. The space was incredibly clean, comfortable, and very homie—it truly felt like a home away from home. The host was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. They had fresh coffee, along with homemade banana bread and a variety of snacks that were such a thoughtful touch. The location couldn’t be better—walking distance to so many great restaurants, coffee shops, and nightlife. We were able to explore the city easily and still come back to a quiet, cozy space at the end of the day. We felt truly cared for and relaxed during our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in town!

Wonderful stay at Greg’s place in DC. Great location. Clean and perfectly situated location. Communication with Greg was very prompt and helpful. Greg is very accommodating. We enjoyed and hope to be back one day.
