Private suite holiday rentals in Dorset

It was a little peace of heaven, the cottage (inside and outside) looks like it's out a story book. The cottage was spotless, enough space for a family, the kitchen was big enough and equipped to cook easy meals, we were served croissants for breakfast (lovely touch). There's a working fireplace and wood is provided. I would love to back there anytime.

Ingrids place is probably one of the best airbnbs we have stayed in. The location is idyllic, completely surrounded by fields and chalk streams but villages within walking distance. It has everything, and more, in terms of facilities and equipment. The bed linen was of a high quality which added to a great night sleep ( something I struggle with even at home!). The furniture and decor was stylish but homely. And the garden beautiful. I loved them. Ingrid was so friendly and helpful. We were attending a wedding locally and not only did she help with providing us with a reliable taxi driver but drove us to the venue herself which was so lovely of her. Yes...the track on arrival is a bit precarious but it should not put you off...go slowly and its fine...and well worth it when you get there

Fantastic location. We crave peace and quiet and this location is superb. Ginny was very easy to deal with and met us on arrival. This was a perfect space for a weekend getaway and we really did have everything we needed. The house is well equipped and a lovely little garden and great views. Kelly was really responsive and helpful on messages

We really enjoyed our stay at Louise's place. It was in a beautiful location which for us was quiet and relaxing from our London hustle. Louise's recommendations regarding local amenities' and things to do was super helpful and we can positively endorse the many items she recommended. The studio flat was spacious and perfect for us especially with the outdoor space, great reviews from us regarding the cleanliness and comfort. Many thanks!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Ian and Rachel are the most gracious hosts. We felt like old friends right from the start. They called nearby pubs for us so we didn’t unnecessarily drive somewhere they were no longer serving food for the evening. The space is so big and quiet. We absolutely loved the area. It perfectly fit our taste for the quiet, rural areas (but still easily accessible to nearby areas with plenty of dining options and shops). The breakfast was wonderful and plenty to go around! We had an amazing stay and wish we could give extra stars! Practically perfect in every way!

The Bothy, Bath, what an amazing airbnb. It was everything that was described and more. A pituresque, idilic place. Not a lot on the doorstep but lovely pubs within driving distance. A fantastic bus route on the doorstep at sensible prices, takes you straight into Bath, so no worry with parking. Richard and Lizzie are amazing hosts, very accomodating and approachable. The Bothy is just charming, it has everything you need and more, there are added extras of toiletries, tea, coffee, milk, cooking oil, kitchen roll etc, the list goes on, Richard looks after the grounds( his garden) beautifully and its a relaxing area to sit out in. We cant recommend this airbnb highly enough and are hoping to go back at some time xx

Perfect. Comfortable and Morden with everything you need. I took a 5 minute drive into West Bay which was stunning and has a long costal walk with some great places to eat. The bed was really comfortable and the place was private and cosy. I would definitely book to come here again if I’m in the area and would recommend it

Lovely peaceful location, friendly host. Listing reads as if there are views of the Thames from the windows of the property - there aren’t - though it is close by, not a problem at all for me but might be for future guests.

We echo all the reviews that have given Nel’s place 5 stars! We were on a tight schedule of visits around the country, but both agreed we’d would’ve happily stayed longer and just enjoyed the cosy accommodation and peaceful surroundings. We’re thinking of downsizing our family home and the design/layout of this delightful apartment gave us ideas for maximising a smaller space. Everything was spotless, the living room sofa and armchair were perfect for us, bed was super comfy, kitchen has everything needed and the whole place was light and airy. We had a lovely stay at Laura’a place, the bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed using the hot tub! Lovely and clean and had everything we need it, if we ever came to Bournemouth again we would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous 2 night break as in area for a wedding. Tina is a most welcoming host to arriving guests, the home has been well thought out & decorated to an extremely high standard. Everything has been well thought off so it is very well equipped. Lovely quiet area, good privacy from main house but Tina is never far if needed. Will definitely be returning & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful place. Thank you Tina xx

A really nice, dog friendly airbnb. A beautiful walk through the woods to the beach. Pool was an added bonus - our children used it, I passed as it wasn’t warm enough yet. The hosts were on site, available for questions, but extremely respectful of our privacy. Recommended

Our stay at Angie's place was fantastic. The property is quiet, clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. A 30-minute walk to the town center. Easy check in and check out, good communication. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone

A fantastic spot close to Shaftesbury, the apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay (close to pubs/takeaways etc. Rob and Chris were wonderful hosts, allowing us to store our bikes in a secure location during our stay which was much appreciated!

Suzi was very informative before we booked and her and Roger were so welcoming when we arrived. Such a beautiful location! The river was blissfully peaceful and the annexe so comfortable and clean. Great location to explore the new forest too. Recommend

We had a fabulous stay at Lizi's accommodation - it was absolutely perfect & Lizi was most helpful - loved the Hot Tub in the lovely private garden. We will definitely be back !!

I had a great stay, Jacqui. Your annexe was like a home from home. Really nicely appointed, clean, very comfortable and quiet.

The place is spacious, with separate kitchen/eating place, living room and bedroom. It has everything you need on the go, including wash/dry machine, very convenient for us to stop on our Cotswold way walk.
