Apartment holiday rentals in Dübendorf

We stayed for 2 nights and were actually a bit sad that we hadn’t booked the place for longer. It’s such a nice and cosy place, filled with art, we felt right at home when we entered. Kathrin had given very clear instructions for how to enter and check-in was flexible. Kathrin had also provided some breakfast stuff to start off, which was very sweet. Do note that airplanes fly over in the neighbourhood sometimes, so bring earplugs if you need full silence to sleep. A plus was that you can fully darken the bedroom to sleep.

Can't say enough good things about this place! The location is superb, the street and surroundings are beautiful, architecture of the building has loads of character and the interior of the apartment is simply charming. You have everything you need inside, including a space to work at with a laptop (which I did alot of). Access to the tram is literally at the doorstep, and you are so close to main train station and the Old Town. Mario was a super host and always responsive to questions. Just brilliant - thank you for everything! If you stay here and have time, grab a coffee and take the tram to Seilbahn Rigiblik, then take the Funicular up the hill. Enjoy a seat at the meadow with a great view of the mountains,lake and city. On your way back down the hill in the direction towards the Limmat river/Beckenhof Park, loose yourself in the historic architecture and old growth trees of the Oberstrass neighborhood.

We stayed here at the start of our Switzerland trip and it was a great experience, very cozy but easy to get to and walkable to the train and surrounding areas. You’re along the river and can enjoy the views and breeze from the window which was nice. The host was extremely responsive and friendly and check in directions were very clear.

Es war alles so, wie beschrieben. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral in Winterthur, vom Bahnhof her in rund 5-10 Minuten erreichbar. Alles ist sauber und sehr zweckmässig eingerichtet. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist die relativ steile Treppe, die am Schluss vom Lift in die Wohnung führt. Aber das ist Jammern auf extrem hohem Niveau. Obwohl die Wohnung zentral in der Altstadt liegt ist sie sehr ruhig. Rolf als Gastgeber war immer ansprechbar wenn irgend eine Frage auftauchte. Ich kann die Wohnung sehr empfehlen, sei es für kurze, aber auch für längere Zeit. Selber war ich gut 7 Wochen dort.

Laura's place was very clean, warm, and comfortable. The place description was very good, the instructions were clear and Laura was flexible about the checking out time. The place was quiet, and the building and apartment seemed to be brand new. It is a very good place to stay at Dübendorf, highly recommended. Please note that at least when I stayed, Wi-Fi was not available (which was mentioned in the apartment description).

The flat was simple, yet attractive and worked perfect for a home base. We recommend and would stay again.

Es stimmte eigentlich alles! Einzig das Wetter machte uns einen Strich durch die Rechnung. Wir konnten den tollen Gartensitzplatz nicht so oft nutzen wie wir eigentlich wollten. Nochmals vielen herzlichen Dank an unsere Gastgeber.

Quiet area within walking distance to restaurants and shops

Thank you! The house was so beautiful and so was the garden. They have 4 cute kitties and they were so cute. The place was filled with amenities and the area was beautiful. The hosts were super sweet and helped with everything. Thank you!

It was lovely place, pretty close to the town area with COOP departmental store next door. Very elegant designed rooms and nice balcony. Highly recommended for someone wanting to live in peace and witness swiss style of living.

The apartment was lovely and the roof top terrace was the cherry on top. The views and sounds of the church bells immersed one in the feel of the city. The A/C allowed restful sleep even on the hottest of days. Milan was a joy to interact with and the Cafe has the most amazing tomato soup ever. Would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I have stayed in MANY AirBNBs over the years and we can legitimately say that David both as a host as well his property are absolutely 5+ stars! His communication, attention to detail (the property has its very own website!) and obvious concern for our welfare throughout our trip make this a no-brainer for booking. Plus, in our opinion the price for the property (especially in one of the most expensive cities in the world) was a great value. Dieser Urlaub hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Ein Ruhepol mitten in der Natur, der einem neue Kraft und Energie spendet. Wir haben uns direkt super wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war voll ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Der Ausblick ist einfach unbeschreiblich schön und lässt einen den Alltag vergessen. Auch mit Iris als Gastgeberin haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie war sehr flexibel und gut erreichbar. Einen Urlaub dort können wir nur weiterempfehlen!!!!

Great place, exactly as described. We would stay here again in spring, winter, or summer! We happened to have an unusually hot June weekend in Zurich (over 90°F), and for that reason I would maybe pick somewhere with air conditioning in the future during the summer months. It is listed as such in the description, so my own fault! Otherwise a wonderful place, neighborhood, and host.

Außergewöhnliches Appartement in sehr ruhiger Lage. Absolute Empfehlung.

Hallo miteinander🙂, die Wohnung war einfach top – genauso wie in der Beschreibung! Alles war super sauber, modern eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Sam & Jenny waren ausgesprochen freundlich und sehr kommunikativ – bei Fragen haben sie schnell und hilfsbereit reagiert. Man merkt, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste am Herzen liegt. Ich kann diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wiederkommen😃👍 Es gibt gute Restaurants in der Nähe und man kann auch schnell einen Ausflug in die Schweiz oder zum Rheinfall machen.

Alles sehr hochwertig und modern- wir haben nur gestaunt. Die Ausstattung ist sowas von komplett, wie zu Hause. Es fehlt an nichts. Es geht sehr über das normale Maß für Ferienwohnungen hinaus. Wenn man doch etwas braucht (Raclette, Schlitten), einfach den Vermieter fragen. Sehr hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht aus der Wohnung ist hervorragend, Sonnenaufgang hinter den Bergen... Eine außergewöhnliche Luxus-Ferienwohnung in toller Lage im Schwarzwald, wenige Autominuten bis in die Schweiz.

We felt right at home. We would really love to stay here again as the apartment was wonderful and the view outside is amazing. The only problem I felt is that at night there is very little lighting on the highway so to walk from station to the apartment is little bit risky post 9:30 p.m. But apart from this every aspect of our stay was exceptional. Prije svega, odličan i vrlo susretljiv domaćin. Riječima se ne može opisati sve što ovaj smještaj nudi. Smještaj nudi puno više nego što je na slikama prikazano, te je opremljen apsolutno svime što čovjeku može zatrebati. Najbolji smještaj do sada u kojemu smo odsjeli. Sigurno ćemo se vratiti :)

We felt comfortable from the first minute with a welcoming host and an apartment with a really well thought out level of equipment - everything you need without clutter. Its in a very quiet and green area while still being very well linked with public transport to Lenzburg and Aarau. The bus stop and train station are both walkable and there are two small supermarket in walking distance that have all the necessities and more.
