Holiday rentals with a patio in Duck

5-star all the way! This review could be pages long on all the great things to say about the Sit N' Duck. Both Mary and Larry are kind, friendly, and gracious hosts. We especially liked the very short walk to the ocean, the use of the Blackstone grill, the kitchenette with coffee maker, electric skillet, and refrigerator; the fluffy towels, the outdoor sitting areas, the comfortable bed, and hospitality...great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. Mary and Larry gave us complete privacy, but were available when needed. It was fun to share a few stories as we headed out to the beach. Other great features: parking availability, beach chairs and umbrella, small cooler (we used a lot), kitchen supplies, and absolutely squeaky-clean everything! Mary has thought of all the little details to make a perfect stay. Thank you so much Mary and Larry, can't wait to come back!

We had a great time at this place! Very accurate description and faithful to the pictures. Kitchen and bathroom in pristine conditions, clean linens and lots of gadgets to bring to the beach. Those bikes and the V shaped scooter was plus! I highly recommend it!

Tara’s place worked perfectly for our family (two adults, two young kids) and honestly restored my faith in AirBnBs. You can tell she really puts effort into making it an awesome place. It was kid friendly - spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated without being fussy. The appliances are all brand new, the bed and linens are super comfortable, there’s great water pressure in the shower, the kitchen is well stocked, and the washer/dryer was so helpful. It’s super centrally located with a ton to do in the area, and it’s easily walkable to the beach. (Though there’s no real ocean view, if that’s your thing.) It was our first time in the Outer Banks and we’d probably choose a quieter town in the future but if we were to come back to KDH rebooking here would be top of our list.

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! It was very clean and the space was perfect for our family! The kitchen was updated and had all of the essentials. The balcony had a perfect view of the ocean! It was beautiful and I enjoyed drinking my coffee as well as watching the sunrise each morning! The condo was in a great location and central to everywhere we wanted to go at OBX! Katie was very responsive and helpful. We absolutely loved it and we may stay here again in the future!! 😊

I really can't say enough positive about the place and Glen. Great host, fantastic place, perfect location, and he had more amenities than the listing even detailed. This was truly a next-level stay. The fact that it was so close to the beach was a huge plus too. We had one small issue while we were there (not Glen's fault in any way), and he was incredibly fast to respond. He went above and beyond to make our stay truly perfect. I would book with him again without hesitation.

Definitely the best place to stay. We did a short friend’s trip at the last minute and the host was flexible and responsive to a last minute request to stay there. The place is immaculate, cozy and tastefully decorated. It is all on one floor with great accessibility if one has limited mobility. Well thought out design with the right amount of amenities. There is a private front patio for outside meals, games, etc as desired. I highly recommend this place and will plan to stay there anytime I am in the area. The peaceful and quiet setting rejuvenated us all. We all were so grateful we stayed at this place.

My partner and I spent a peaceful week in this cozy spot. Very clean and well equipped for cooking and relaxing :) We especially enjoyed hanging out on the dock by the water and eating meals in the screened-in outdoor space. The surrounding neighborhood was very friendly as well. Rob was an excellent host and addressed any and all inquiries in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again if you're looking for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the more "quintessential" obx beach towns. Not a bad drive to Duck / Kitty Hawk either.

Key Lime was perfect. My daughter brought her dog and had a great time in the dog park We all enjoyed the pool / hot tub. But this place was so clean and quiet. We went on 2 walks a day every direction went was beautiful. Any time of day you could set outside and hear yourself think Definitely was a different experience at the OBX. In a great way!!!! We will be back👍👍

My friends and I loved our stay at Kelly's place! The house was large and even more beautiful and serene than the pictures, and Kelly was super responsive whenever we reached out with questions. The beach is also way closer than it appears, maybe like a 4 minute walk. The hot tub was also a favorite, especially since it was cold and rainy the first few days of our trip. We hope to be back next year!!

Michelle has thought about pretty much everything to make her place a fantastic getaway that still feels like home. Getting to the beach was super easy and walkable and Michelle was super responsive the whole trip. I would easily book this place again in the future. Thanks for being such a great host!

Our stay at Skye’s the limit was amazing. The cottage was newly renovated and everything was in great condition and super clean. The beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the room with the bunk bed. The location was great and close to the beach with lots to do around.

We absolutely loved A Splash of Lime! The house was great for us and our 2 dogs! The kitchen had everything we could have asked for. The pool and hot tub were also a huge plus. Easy walk to the beach and you may even pass a few wild horses on the way! Thank you, Martin, for an excellent vacation home!

We had an incredible stay at this stunning 6-bedroom beach house in Corolla! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail, beautiful furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout the home. It’s clear the owner truly cares about creating a premium experience for guest - every amenity you could want is here. The location is fantastic! Just a short walk to the beach with breathtaking views from the top deck that made for the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or sunset cocktails. The house has so much space for everyone to relax and have fun, whether it was hanging out in the game room, taking a dip in the private pool or jacuzzi or just lounging on one of the many private decks. The layout was ideal for our group and we especially appreciated how well-stocked and well-maintained everything was. This isn’t your average rentL as it feels more like staying in a luxurious, professionally designed vacation home. I would highly recommend this Outer Banks home.

Excellent accommodations, host, and location! We looked for a last minute Memorial Day get away, and this rental was perfect. Our boys enjoyed the pool and proximity to the park and playground. The location made for easy travel to the beach, the lighthouse, and other area attractions. The community was quiet and friendly, and the hosts were very responsive. Thanks for a peaceful and restful weekend stay!

Spent a wonderful girl’s trip in this condo and enjoyed every second. Beautiful, clean space, easy beach accesses, and walkable to my favorite restaurants. This was the perfect place to stay to introduce my friends to OBX for the first time. Would absolutely stay again!

The condo was very charming with new appointments and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed sunrise each morning and the sound of the waves crashing each night. The kitchen was well equipped and had sufficient space for the two of us. It was also nice to have both a full and half bath as well as a door between the sink area and toilet/shower in the full bath. Having several options for coffee with espresso, drip, and a Keurig was a big plus A few observations we want to share. It would be very tight to fit 6 people in the place but you could comfortably have two couples or a couple with two kids with the second pair on the sleeper sofa. Overall it was a great stay for our anniversary weekend!!!

What a lovely place. We enjoyed three nights of absolute peace and relaxation with an amazing view overlooking the ocean. It felt like an actual home - so comfortable. Mere steps from the beach, which was never very crowded. We were very impressed by how clean and well maintained it was. It looks like it’s been recently renovated, so everything felt very fresh. Nice plush white towels, soft comforters and linens, and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had absolutely everything you could need. Paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and sponge, trash bags, coffee and filters, salt and pepper, cooking oil, hand soap, etc. were provided. We liked all the little touches, such as labeling the light switches and contents of drawers, and posting signs about how to access the Wi-Fi. We’re strongly considering making this a yearly tradition and would absolutely return to this property!

This was an ideal location in Duck, NC. The beach associated with the resort was devine! The surrounding area is mostly single family homes, making the beach very private to the resort. The unit is located away from the pool, so it was very quiet and lovely. The view is not really of water, but it's a great deck to watch sunsets. I would return to this AirBnB again!

Great location within steps to the beautiful Outer Banks beaches. Steve's place is comfortable, stylishly decorated, and so close to the ocean that you can fall asleep to the waves crashing upon the beach at night!

The only thing that wasn’t great, was the limited amount of toilet paper. We needed more than one roll for each bathroom.

Absolutely wonderful condo in Manteo! The space was clean, super comfortable and the location was perfect. Looks exactly as the pictures show, but with an even better view of the water from the patio. The hosts are lovely and very responsive. We went to see The Lost Colony at Fort Raleigh and was able to walk via an easy walking path right outside of the condo. We will 100% stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great place! Will definitely look to stay here on my next visit to the OBX.
