I love the place , And the house also nice and clean . I felt like home we all had nice and comfy bedrooms. I booked accommodation through Airbnb many times. We never get before like these Ann offered us milk , juices and bread for breakfast as a complimentary . I loved this . Thank you very much Ann for everything.

I had a great time staying at Tim and Alexs' home. They're very friendly and gave me loads of information on local walks and places to go. The house is very clean and tidy and located in a nice village that is convenient for exploring the Lake District. I would definitely recommend staying at their home.

Beautiful cottage with everything we could need and lots of communication from the host to make sure the stay and check in was smooth! Glorious location. Slept metres from the sea. Bedroom, bathroom and sitting room super stylish and comfortable. Cosy comfortable bed from which we could watch the waves! Art works spectacular. Shower and baths amazing! A super fresh Continental breakfast arrived each morning. Meats, cheese, fruit and yogurt along with toast and hot drinks from the kettle. I think jam and marmalade were home made. Beach and view so beautiful. We adored every moment and can’t wait to return. Huge thanks.

Quick stopover whilst cycle touring. India and David were lovely hosts and I felt really at home. Good size room and nice firm bed - I had a great night's sleep. India was really responsive with communication and gave clear instructions on how to find them.

Rosie was a lovely hosts and Lena was a beautiful dog. I had a very comfortable and cosy room with thoughtful breakfast provisions. Rosie and Gerry were very welcoming and friendly but respected my privacy as well. I really appreciated being given the space to work and the support and interest shown in spite of them being so busy. Rosie’s flexibility over my arrival time due to the snow was very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay. Thank you.

One of the most beautiful apartments I've ever booked. Wonderful view, gorgeous furnishings and a real feel of quality, like a country house. We had such a relaxing time, and our dog didn't want to leave! Would love to stay again for longer.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Motherby House and am so grateful to the hosts, Jacquie and David, for making me feel so welcome. They’re both kind and engaging—and they gave me some great recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area. Breakfast was delicious and Jacquie kindly made me a tasty packed lunch for my hike! I’d be very happy to stay here again.

Thank you Sarah for my stay was so great to meet you. I had exactly what I needed a relaxing break away! I stayed two nights and did activity locally so this was perfect, day two I relaxed and had best bath and most amazing sleep in this huge bed. Not to mention how brilliant breakfast was… whole table set up just for me wow 5 star service :)

Would highly recommend staying here, I stayed here for my birthday and it was the perfect night away, tranquil, scenic and absolutely worth the money! Tobias is a class host so unbelievably friendly and accommodating!

The Holly room was lovely with dual aspect windows. A lovely view across to the ŕiver. Appreciated the lift and on site dining, but would have preferred to be able to order just a main course. The pricing was for a 2 or 3 course meal. The lounge with huge fireplace was lovely and the snooker table in its own room a nice touch. Enjoyed the stroll to Robbie Burns Hermitage before departure. The surrounding countryside is beautiful.

From personalised recommendations on what to do nearby to the warmest of welcomes and super comfy beds, our stay at Islecroft was absolutely fantastic. Beautifully appointed family rooms with views over the harbour, rain shower, great coffee and delicious fresh fruit salad as part of the continental breakfast. We highly recommend staying with Tracey and hope to be back ourselves very soon.
