Overall a beautiful holiday let in beautiful Galloway. Have been visiting Galloway for 20 years and this is one of the nicest holiday lets we’ve stayed with the best view. Really clean and comfortable throughout.

2nd visit just a lovely little private pod Gillian is lovely always on hand we will be back again sometime ❤️

fantastic little place. easy to unwind, no noise from any direction. nice to sit outside and look at the stars. quite a few villages and towns nearby to drive to and see local shops or get an ice-cream on a hot day. would 100% recommend driving and being able to cook.

Had a lovely weekend staying in the hut with my wee dog. Tessa was great at staying in touch prior to our arrival and ensured we knew who to contact should we have needed anything. We had the gardens to ourselves in the evenings, it was so peaceful and the views from the top are breathtaking - we will definitely be back!

Lovely pod! We had a wonderful stay. Spotlessly clean. Very well equipped. Comfy beds (and our son loved the bunk beds!) The views are picturesque. Generous goody basket was icing on the cake. Thank you Anne and Scott. We will be back

Absolutely perfect little bungalow with everything you need for a quick stop or a longer stay. Even better than the photos. Super easy to find and clear instructions of how to get there, where to park and how everything works. Kelly was lovely and I even got some dog pats. I really wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in.

Perfect place to stay for a quiet weekend away, would recommend to friends and family. Love how rural it was but still the ability to travel to places near by!

Wonderful stay in a well equipped, super clean shepherds hut. The hut is set just off from the farm and yet it’s very private with the only others guests being sheep, their lambs and daily visits from cows and their calves. Amazing views and a hot tub to unwind in and enjoy the big sky. Communication was excellent! Super speedy and helpful responses each time we had a query. The hut makes great use of the space it has and has been finished to a high standard. The only problem we had was having to leave this fab place behind. Lots of lovely memories made. Absolutely book it up!

Me and my partner absolutely loved our stay at ‘Pod on the Pond.’ It was the perfect place and location to come and switch off from our crazy, hectic and busy world. Best described as a peaceful, tranquil haven to relax and unwind. The Pod was clean, tidy, very cosy and comfy. Everything worked as it should. We enjoyed using the hot tub, siting by the fire pit and we also used the bbq 1 of the nights. Mark was a brilliant host, meeting us on arrival and showing us about. Even allowing us if we wanted to roam about the beautiful garden surroundings. Communication brilliant leading up to our stay and if we did have an issue(we didn’t) he made sure we knew he was just a message away. I would recommend this place to anybody looking to get away for some peace and quiet. And you never know… we may definitely come back for another stay! Thanks again Gav and Natalie.

This was a nice little cabin, perfect for a weekend getaway. Only thing missing was some sharp knives for chopping veg!

Just left the signal box , what a little Gem , we were met by Andrea and Frankie on arrival , easy check in and great advice on lovely places to visit , we enjoyed waking up to the birds and rabbits each morning . We had great weather so spent each day sight seeing and hiking , definitely one of our quirkiest trips , will definitely return . Many Thanks Sam Ian Red and Ron x

Fantastic place to get away from hustle and bustle. Peaceful, beautiful view, wonderfully dark skies. Cannot recommend enough.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at James and Sarah’s cabin. The surroundings were beautiful and it felt like a very private space despite being close to the main house. Everything in the cabin works great, comfortable bed, and there is everything you need to cook with. Expect to meet Coal and Carrot, two very friendly cats! Overall a great stay and very reasonable price. I’d recommend paying for the hot tub pre-lighting service as it took a very long time for us to heat it ourselves.

Exceeded our expectations in every way! It was an amazing stay. Comfy bed, warm and a hot powerful shower. Debbie provided everything we could need and more that we would never have thought of - log burner, umbrella, kettle. We loved the little touches as well with the snacks and milk. We would recommend and definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic time there! The level of comfort is 11/10 ✨ The place is so beautiful, all the details! Vinyl set a nice mood! Birdwatching is incredible here, we made a wee woodpecker friend hahah so pretty! The super king-size bed is amazing! We were looking for a place to chill and relax, and it was just what we were looking for. Easy to get a taxi there from Ayr.. and you have anything you need in the room. The wood fire outside, watching the moon and hearing the stream flowing by! 🤍🤍 Adam and Katherine, Thank you for creating this place and sharing it with us! You made it very special.

Linden’s space was absolutely perfect! Everything you need for a chilled get away. Although on her family property it’s very private and you have your own space. She was there when we arrived to show us around and how to work the hot tub. She’d even lit it before we got there so that was fab. We used the BBQ facilities provided and sat and watched the very friendly horses at our decking into the small hours. Right by town for anything you need but you feel far away in your own wee world. The host was friendly and there if any help was needed! Will absolutely be back.
