Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Dunfermline

We had a lovely stay here with our 2 young kids. It was spacious, clean and beautifully laid out - the backyard was a huge bonus as well! The location was a perfect base for our day trips into Stirling, Culross, Falkland, St. Andrew’s and Linlithgow. Thank you for having us!

The place is absolutely gorgeous and has stunning views of the ocean. the area doesn't have many restaurants and public transportation is not convenient in case you plan on commuting to Edinburgh city center however the cozy interiors make up for this. goodies, snacks, and basic pantry items were provided as well as nearby restaurant pamphlets which made the stay comfortable. Allison was very helpful with providing information about the location and helping out with any problems we had. keep in mind that taxis and Ubers are slightly difficult to order because not many drivers are willing to come to the location. All things considered, it's a great place to stay for a vacation and the stunning views and beaches make up for the transportation inconveniences :)

The Shiel House was an absolutely stunning and massive property. We visited as a large group of 8 on a golf trip, and this was the perfect Airbnb. It was beyond spacious, with all the amenities a large group would need for a week long stay. The location was great for us with popular golfing destinations like St Andrews and Gleneagles within driving distance, as well as a litany of local courses. We also were within driving distance of Edinburgh with plenty of fine dining options. Tim was a very gracious and helpful host who provided clear instructions on locating the property, as well as a fun treasure hunt that takes you around the property and to local spots. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the property and the host!!

Super clean. We were able to play a game at the table in the dining area. Glad there were plenty of utensils and tools in the kitchen (especially the scissors). Bathroom shower had nice pressur. Appreciated the washing machine to clean our travel clothes. Overall a lovely place!!!! Thank you Julie for hosting us.

What stunning views and such a tranquil location. Loved our stay and hosts were so accommodating when we were a little late and they opened up for our grocery delivery driver! We are a family of four with a dog and loved using the enclosed garden, bbq and fire pit. Beds are comfortable and showers are super. Even the sofa bed is great! Would stay again. Izzy's home is a lovely retreat. It is in a very quiet location, convenient for everything and within walking distance of a Morrisons Superstore. A few minutes drive from the railway station with free parking and with frequent services into the centre of Edinburgh. It has everything you need, including a washing machine and tumble dryer. The internet is reliable and very fast. We had a very comfortable stay and would certainly stay there again.

This is such a beautiful property and the surroundings are so peaceful! The cottage was well furnished and provided a home away from home while we travelled and worked throughout the UK. Cass was a great host and very accommodating.

Sarah was a great hostess! Her directions were super helpful and she was very flexible with our late check-in. She had lots of lovely personal touches which made our stay more enjoyable eg wipes and nappies for our son, milk in the fridge, etc .. The place was exactly as described, with great parking and it was very accessible to Edinburgh by car. We definitely would recommend staying here!

Outstanding option if visiting Edinburgh. Perfect in every way. Quiet street. Close and walkable to everything. Vianney was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We had another highly enjoyable weekend at Swallows Nest, our 2nd short stay at this very peaceful and comfortable property. A home from home, in very beautiful and special surroundings. Already arranging our 3rd visit … :) Highly recommend for a family or couple. Thank you both!

We had a wonderful stay at Sheena’s home. Our children loved the surrounding farm and all the space to run and play. The scenery is breathtaking and it is a very peaceful spot. We would recommend it and stay again!

Ann’s place was just what we needed for our two night stay in Edinburgh. The apartment is centrally located and within walking distance of all the major attractions , with a stunning view of the castle. The amenities provided allowed for a comfortable stay.

Ash was a fantastic host. Very friendly and gave fantastic recommendations! Situated closely to Uphall’s co-op, butchery and gas station, the Thorns Annexe was a lovely stay. An easy bus into Edinburgh, this place was also exceptional for walks. I highly recommend and will be back in the future!

Dawn’s flat was perfect for our four night stay! Really well situated, with lots of shops and cafes in walking distance. The flat is well equipped with everything you need and was immaculate on arrival.

Steven was a great host during my stay in Edinburgh. His place was great, the neighborhood is quiet and only a 15 minute walk from the the Royal Mile. Highly recommend if you're coming to Edinburgh.

We had a wonderful stay. It was peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen had everything needed, bed and sofa were very comfy and we loved the wood burner. We brought wood from the purple shop ( dog friendly and well stocked!) and had fires in the evening. Beautiful beaches in easy walking distance. we loved it and hope to be back :)

I highly recommend Anke-Beate's flat. We would definitely return. The location is ideal to get around Edinburgh, it is spacious and even better than the photos. Everything was clean, and the added touches were very much appreciated. The flat is fully kitted out with everything needed. Communication was great. Thank you for a great stay!

As a Fifer, it’s always nice to come back and stay. Craigs place was easy to find, spacious and spotlessly clean, and Burntisland is a lovely town. I would certainly stay at Craigs again.

We had a great stay at Kenzo's place! The place met all our needs and it was well located, clean and safe.

Lee’s place was decorated tastefully. It offers a lot of space for a family of four. We were very pleased with our accommodations. Very clean as well.

Anne and Guy’s stay was beautiful and just as seen in the photos, if not better! Stunning water view from the back garden and walkable location to restaurants. After a day of driving, we decided to order takeaway from Little Moon which was delicious and a walk away. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

Perfect, the atmosphere inside was impeccable. I dream of going back, I would have liked to stay longer. Grace was very kind and even offered us activities.

We spent two nights at The Butler's Basement for my husband's birthday and it was an ideal base. We did have an issue getting in as the lockbox didn't work, but her son came down and resolved the issue. The apartment was very clean and in a great area - some lovely bars and restaurants that we preferred to spend time in, more than the busier side of Edinburgh. Gemma was very responsive to my messages and we also had a bottle of fizz in the fridge as well as some short bread and chocolate. It might be an idea to put a small bottle of milk in the fridge, as we did have tea and coffee provided but didn't want to buy a whole pint of milk to make a couple of drinks. However it certainly wasn't an issue that would stop us staying again!

It was really something special to stay at Kinghorn Town Hall. The accommodation is just as beautiful as in the photos and even after a few days just as impressive as at the beginning. Kinghorn is a cute little town, right by the sea and with a few stores and a delicious bagel café. We found it a great base for exploring the surrounding countryside as well as going to Edinburgh (also good access by train). We would love to come back someday.
