There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has great food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Stag is a lovely bistro (our fav). Fine dining at the Boar's Head in Auchtermuchty.

The decor is a mix between birch ply panelling and polished cement, giving it a modern Scandi/Scottish feel, yet not losing its original charm and farm history. Situated equidistant between Perth, Edinburgh and rural east Fife this is a tranquil, self-contained one-bedroom flatlet, sitting within a lovely garden which guests are welcome to enjoy. There are many good and varied restaurants and cafes in Dunfermline, three miles away, however if you want to "eat in", the kitchen is equipped with all you need to make a simple meal. Please note that there is no oven and the electric hob is a single hob.
