With the Trotternish Ridge as a backdrop, Glenhinnisdal offers both a base for walking and with a short drive of about hour, access to the island’s main attractions. Our pods are furnished with en-suite shower room and kitchenette, and with a decked area with garden bench providing a place for relaxing while taking in the surrounding views.

Cabin on Cairn Geal Croft, Waternish, Isle of Skye

A cosy, open-plan cabin for two on the Waternish peninsula, overlooking the sea with outstanding views across Loch Snizhort to the ferry port of Uig, and south to Raasay and the mainland. The Cabin is on a small croft/farm and lies within its own garden. The Cabin has a maritime theme, free wifi, plenty of books & maps and a well provided kitchen. The Waternish peninsula offers abundant wildlife, and in the hamlet of Stein, next to the sea, a lovely old pub and a Michelin starred restaurant .

Fabulous self-catering apartment for 2 people (+1 small/medium sized dog). This 18th Century cow byre has been lovingly restored by the owners, retaining the original stone walls. An ideal space to get away from it all, enjoy peace and quiet in front of a wood-burning stove, whilst taking in the amazing views from Lochbay to the Outer Hebrides. Clarkie's corner Hillview is a new conversion furnished to a very high standard in the township of Edinbane near Portree. Clarkie's corner Hillview also has the benefit of super fast wifi. It's made up of a cosy bedroom with shower room and small kitchen. We are very central for sight seeing, short drive away from Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Quiraing, Fairy Glen,Fairy Pools etc. In addition Edinbane where we are located has some amazing food, friendly neighborhood and traditional music.

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break.
