Holiday rentals with breakfast in East Frisian Islands

We loved our stay here! The staff was helpful and friendly, the breakfast was great and the house itself was perfect. The beds were very comfortable, everything felt clean, new, and very well maintained. We booked it randomly during a roadtrip to break up our time on the road and everyone wanted to extend the visit because it was such a lovely spot. Location is also great! We might have to make a new tradition to stop here on our roadtrip to the North Sea islands. Thank you!

We felt very comfortable at the place and enjoyed the stay. The mudflat was within a few minutes walking distance and we really enjoyed the view. The sheep on the dike were adorable. The cafe at the campsite is also worth a visit.

Beautiful cottage, beautiful garden, beautiful rural area. Very good, various and abundant breakfast. The mattress was really comfortable. Annie and her husband are extremely gentle and helping but still respecting the privacy of the guests.

Location is fairly central with a few fun bars/restaurants nearby. Very spacious and comfortable. Edwin added a nice personal touch by providing food and drinks . We even found a good parking spot ! For a family, this is a super place, be prepared though to get up (and down) a very steep staircase, not unusual for a Dutch building, but still….. Thank you Edwin, for a most enjoyable stay.

place was wonderful, clean space which was exactly as described. it's very kid friendly with lots of toys and card games. the place was very cosy and homely

A warm welcome with a cup of fresh mint tea, delicious! I felt right at home. It was very nice to stay here for a few days and have breakfast in the morning with the other guests and Aagje. A nice place if you go out in the area of Drenthe. Communication and hospitality was really very good and everything was there. Thank you for these days, Aagje! I'd love to come back when I'm in the area again.

Slept here with my 10-year-old daughter for one night. Nice place to be together and everything present! The stairs up are considerable, but this is clearly stated in the description so we knew this. Tineke was so sweet to help with our luggage as I walk with a stool myself. We were positively surprised!

Our stay in this beautiful vacation home was simply great. The accommodation is cozy and very clean. The location is ideal – quiet and idyllic, but still well connected. We particularly liked the proximity to the zoo in Emmen, which we could easily reach. The charming cheese shop was also a great insider tip from Anne-Marie. In addition to the cheese, we also bought an Old Jenever, the traditional Dutch juniper, and had Hagelslag for breakfast. And of course, the whirlpool was simply fantastic for relaxing. For nature lovers, the nearby forest is ideal for walks or bike rides. We enjoyed the peace and the fresh air very much. Anne-Marie and Marnix were super friendly and helpful, the communication was uncomplicated and they responded quickly. There wasn't even a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival 😊 Conclusion: An absolutely recommended accommodation, we will be happy to come back.

Our stay in Giethoorn was absolutely perfect! The little inn we chose was cozy, spotless, and everything we could have hoped for. The location was right on the canal, making it incredibly easy to take the boat out and explore the serene waterways. While the area is quieter in winter, that only added to the charm, creating a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality. Our host went above and beyond, preparing delicious and varied home-cooked breakfasts each morning. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the clean and well-equipped kitchen (where my girlfriend and I enjoyed cooking dinner each night) to the excellent water pressure and warmth of the shower—something you truly appreciate during colder months. This was more than just a stay; it was an experience. The warmth, cleanliness, and attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to our return!

We had a wonderful week in Dima and Marina's apartment. The apartment is very nice, very clean and equipped with everything if you don't want to cook yourself. We were very warmly welcomed and said goodbye and also received tips for excursions. The breakfast we got every morning was fantastic - thanks again for that! If you are traveling by car, Lütetsburg near the north is a great starting point for excursions.

A beautiful and very quiet location. Beautiful spacious room with cute bedstee. I am 1.88 meters myself, but the bed was spacious enough. Roelie is a sweet, welcoming host. We have booked again in any case!

Everything was great ! North is worth a trip - lovely town with very relaxed and friendly residents ! I'm in love with lightning in East Frisia!

Remco is friendly, and gave extra tips per Whatsapp. However, we arrived on the wrong side via navigation and then you can't get to the right parking spot (you have to get there via a one-way road), but otherwise the service, the village with supermarket and restaurants nearby was fine!

This was the perfect end to my vacation ❤️ Despite the fact that no one else was there, I was served a delicious full breakfast in my up, made with love! Beds sleep great, and it was wonderfully clean 😀 Super nice received by Gonnie and Richard. The perfect address for when I miss the last boat home again! What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

Rosetta was so welcoming, helpful and genuinely interested in making our experience comfortable. She went above and beyond to help us get my elderly mother’s luggage in as we were unable to get luggage storage we had planned. Our breakfast was amazing. She made me special and delicious low carb options as I had dietary needs. The bedrooms were very comfortable, everything was so nice. I would stay here again in a second.
