Holiday rentals with a patio in East Lothian

Johnny was great person very proactive, the flat was easy to reach, one floor down easy access. on the right side one queen green room, the other one after that one red pinck twin bed room, onthe left side master bes room with wc. the main WC is big and full of quality supplies, there is big kitchen and upper living room.

The Secret Orchard is a substantial, historic building. Fabulous inside, with modern fitting but still retaining many of the original features. Very comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed the garden (Matt's tomatoes made me jealous). My wife thought the chickens, running free, were gorgeous.

The apartment location was perfect. Only a short walk to Royal Mile, close to a small market and the car rental location. Host was always responsive, and provided a lot of great information & tips prior to our trip. The apartment itself was more spacious than we expected and the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our party of 5. Would definitely stay again!

Splendide. Un logement avec une belle hauteur sous plafond, des moulures, un équipement de grande qualité (notamment la literie) et agréable à vivre tout simplement. Pour le parking gratuit qui se fait au niveau d’un complexe sportif à 10 minutes, nous y allions en empruntant un petit chemin le long du canal: très appréciable (par beau temps!). Damian a toujours été réactif et agréable. Nous recommandons très fortement et sans réserve.

Great location and ample space for the six of us. Many restaurants and bars nearby. Loved the outdoor space. Clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

My Mum I had such a lovely stay at Dolly’s Place! The studio is beautifully laid out — everything feels thoughtfully designed. The bright kitchen was pristine and had everything we needed, and the decor throughout the space was tasteful, artful, and full of charm. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous, and I have to say — the shower was hands down the best I’ve ever had! The location is also amazing — just a short walk to the beach, or to high street. Dolly was a wonderful host attentive, helpful, felt like chatting with a best friend! We would absolutely stay here again in a heart beat! Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay at the Wee Sea View, everything you could need for a great stay. Comfortable, cosy and quiet. Fab wee privay sitting area out the back, sun trap. Great hosts, gave recommendations on where to go and where to eat. Plenty to do in the area with some lovely restaurants. Five stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Unser Aufenthalt in Edinburgh war einfach traumhaft – und das lag nicht zuletzt an dieser großartigen Unterkunft! Die Wohnung war blitzsauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, dass man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Hier hat einfach alles gestimmt. Die Lage außerhalb des Stadtzentrums war angenehm entspannt und bot genau die richtige Mischung aus Erholung und Stadtnähe. Ganz in der Nähe fuhren regelmäßig Busse, mit denen man unkompliziert und zuverlässig in die Innenstadt gelangt (Fahrzeit ca. 40 Minuten). Auch der Flughafen-Transfer war mit dem Bus völlig unkompliziert. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Kommunikation war schnell, herzlich und unkompliziert – ich habe mich rundum wohl und bestens betreut gefühlt. Für alle, die Edinburgh erleben möchten, aber gerne etwas ruhiger und entspannter wohnen, ist diese Unterkunft ein absoluter Glücksgriff. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen – 100 % Weiterempfehlung! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I booked accommodation last minute and it was a fantastic air bnb it was bright airy and spacious with the added extra of a hotub in rhe garden which my boy and took advantage of . We took a quick train into Edinburgh which only took 15 mins which was ideal . Spent the day there with all the hustle and bustle that goes with a city then back to the house which was nice and peaceful . All in all we had a cracking experience form start to finish . I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this air bnb to anyone who would want a pleaseant stay on the out skirts of Edinburgh . Thanks again scott for helping us at such short notice .

If you're looking for a peaceful place in a beautiful location where can rest and venture out from into East Lothian, this cottage is the place for you! Spacious but homely, quiet but surrounded by animals, rural but very accessible from the lovely village of Gifford. Amy Flora was helpful and communicative while giving plenty of space. Highly recommended!

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der Wohnwagen ist überraschend geräumig und die Lage ist einfach toll. Das Meer ist nur durch eine Straße von der Unterkunft getrennt. Wenn Ebbe ist, kann man gemütlich am Strand entlang spazieren. Mit dem Bus, der nicht weit von der Unterkunft entfernt ist, fährt man bequem nach Edinburgh. Die Lage ist ruhig, und einen kleinen Supermarkt gibt es in der Anlage auch. Die Ausstattung des Wohnwagens ist super! Wir waren zu viert dort (4 Erwachsene) und haben nichts vermisst. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!!!

lovely place to stop before hitting Edinburgh. love the football field right in front of the house. walkable to coop groceries. all stuffs functioning well.

A really great place to stay. Very comfortable, good parking, warm, and everything you need for a fantastic holiday. We had one small problem with respect to the TV reception, but I suspect this has already been attended to.

The Bothy was a home from home base within easy reach of several places of interest and yet in a peaceful, farm setting. Every need had been catered for and having a small garden was a bonus. Jill was a great host...there to meet us and to say goodbye. We would highly recommend it.

Absolutely stunning! We spent 4 nights at Jacqui’s and had the most amazing stay, the cottage was beautifully presented and so spacious and the outlook was breathtaking! Close to Edinburgh but out of the city enough to be so peaceful, we would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Jacqui for the great stay, if we are ever back in Scotland we will definitely book again. 😊

We enjoyed our stay. Hana’s house was roomy and quiet. It was a short walk to the no. 3 bus, which goes directly to the center of Edinburgh (about 45 minutes). There was a grocery store in easy walking distance. All told, it was a great stay.

Had a lovely stay. Quiet and safe neighborhood close to public transport and many of the local attractions. Clean and well appointed apartment. Just wished the weather was more accommodating!!

This was a lovely stay. Our host was thoughtful in setting up the space and added little things that made our trip easy like laundry soap, fresh ground coffee, large towels set out in each guest room. It was definitely luxury and we felt very welcome in her home. Just far enough away to be quiet and spacious while still making the city accessible we walked everywhere except dinner out one evening.

Kate is a wonderful host, clear and timely communication and responsive to any issues. Her place is great, clean, comfortable, and provides good separation from family areas and sleeping areas, important when traveling with three generations of family. Location was perfect and remarkably quiet.

We had a lovely stay at. Catherine's place. Everything was so inviting, very clean and comfortable. Catherine was very responsive and kind. There was a seating area outside to enjoy the countryside. She left us a lovely breakfast for each day we spent there. This included porridge, cereal, toast and homemade jams,butter and milk. She also left us a welcome package of shortbread cookies. Thank you Catherine!

This home was beautiful! The hosts were very friendly and communicative. Our party of 8 stayed for a few nights while on vacation. The rooftop balcony was a special treat, and we utilized that space daily during our stay. We were walking distance from many shops and cafes, as well as some art galleries and a board game store, which fit our family dynamic perfectly. As a note, while the listing is clear that this is a top-floor flat, we were still a bit unprepared for how many stairs there are to reach the flat itself (40+). The spiral staircase to the top floor (with the balcony) is also very rickety, although you can reach the top floor by the main apartment staircase. If stairs are an issue for anyone in your party, or you have a lot of luggage, this is a bit of a hike. Overall, we had a great experience in this apartment, and recommend it to others who are looking to visit Edinburgh.

Kornelia’s place is beautiful and peaceful and I would definitely recommend it to others. It is modern, has great amenities, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Kornelia includes lots of little extras like bread, milk, chips and every spice you can think of! It is very handy having a washing machine and a dryer too. It was 100% accurately described and the location was excellent. It was an easy walk into the city but if you prefer, the bus stop is just around the corner. Kornelia was a responsive host and we appreciated her checking in to see if we had arrived safely. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Kornelia’s flat. It is definitely one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anthony's apartment. It was spotlessly clean and was exactly as described. Easy check-in/check-out and Anthony kept in touch before, during and after our stay. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Edinburgh.
