The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

Stay in one of the most beautiful villas in Friesland. The entire upper floor is at your disposal. Includes bathroom with bath (no bubbles), a living room with luxury sofa and television with Netflix, Videoland and a mini kitchen with microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The accommodation is sustainable (hardly any gas use) and equipped with air conditioning in the living room + bedrooms. In the winter months, it can be heated. Koetshuis Puur Eastermar is an exclusive apartment in the former coach house of our monumental farmhouse from 1860. The farm is located on De Lits between Burgumermeer and De Leyen. With its own jetty, this location is an excellent base for water sports or just to enjoy the breathtaking views.
