The lavoir du prieuré

In the heart of the Sarthois perch at Sceaux sur Huisne, a town of water in Roman times, behind the church with its distinctive bell tower, is the wash-house of the "Priory Farm". This small building and its basin powered by a spring, are part of a very preserved and green space. A hundred meters below is the remains of the Gallo-Roman baths. The room has been installed in an old washhouse dating from the 15th century, so it is a night "feet in the water" that we offer.

Possibility to add an extra bed for a 5th person for an additional €20 to be paid on-site. Equipped kitchen and lounge area available. Come and enjoy the calm and greenery in the city center🌳!

Ideally located, in the heart of an exceptional site classified as a Historic Monument (Hodebert Castle) and close to the Loire Castles (Chambord, Cheverny, Amboise, Chenonceau, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau...), the Ecuries d'Hodebert are ideal for cultural and sports holidays or simply to enjoy the calm of the countryside. Carefully decorated, the house offers a very bright living room with a fireplace (wood provided). Heated swimming pool 16 m x 4 m.

Close to Le Mans, the place is ideal for a family with children, a couple of friends, business trips or a stopover on the way to vacation: 10 min from A11 exit, 20 min from 24-hour circuit, 45 min from Laval, 4.5 hours from Calais. Secure parking on the property. You can also enjoy the outdoors - garden terrace - weather permitting.
