Family-friendly holiday rentals in Edisto Beach

Everything was exactly as described and the location was FANTASTIC for traveling with small kids. Tamra & Lisa were great communicators ahead of and during our stay, even welcoming us with wine and cheese. Everything was comfortable and the pack n play & high chair on site were a great bonus. The kitchen is fully, full equipped if you like to do some cooking at “home” like we do. There are some fragile items at curious tot level but the living areas are child friendly. Absolutely recommend these hosts and this stay!

This was the perfect stay for me, my husband, and our 1 year old! I can’t say enough wonderful things about it! It is decorated beautifully, was extremely clean, had easy access to the beach, and was perfectly located on the island close to Kroger (5 minutes away, if that), awesome restaurants, and plenty of bike paths. The kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to cook a meal very easily with what was there. The resort has several pools indoor and outdoor as well as a kiddie pool that was a hit with our toddler. The beach is a beautiful 10 minute walk along a boardwalk overlooking the marshes - just bring some comfy sandals as you walk to the beach and it’s totally fine. :-) We had the best time! This is our 3rd time visiting HHI and this was hands down the best rental we’ve used. We will be back for sure!

My family and I had never seen the ocean before. The place was within walking distance of the beach. The people who were there helped us find little places to go and other places to see. I would recommend this spot to anyone!

This stay was in the perfect place. Close enough to the beach to walk, and also access to other amenities on the grounds. A lot of places to go around the stay. Very comfortable in general.

Great stay! In building three with an indoor pool, hot tubs, arcade and more. Nicely decorated and had everything needed. Theresa was very responsive and accommodating.

James is an amazing host! We had another fantastic stay in Hilton Head, and this place was absolutely perfect. It’s just a short walk to the beach, in a very secure and peaceful area. We rented bikes and had them delivered right to us—super convenient! The kitchen is well stocked, the bed was really comfortable, and the living room has a great TV with cable for relaxing in the evenings. Thank you, James, for helping make our short trip such a wonderful and memorable time for our family!

Really cute apartment with great amenities, conveniently located next to a connected Hilton Hotel so we my friends and I were able to take advantage of a few hotel perks ;) The hot tub and pool area were really nice too! Overall booking was made easy and the host was very responsive and helpful!

Extremely clean and great instructions! Jan was wonderful to work with. Will stay there again on our travels from VA to FL!!!

We can't say enough about the Cottage on Waight! It was immaculate & has eveything you need( and more) for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was extremely well appointed & everything you could need to cook a great meal . It even had some nice snacks, a variety of coffees & teas, spices condiments and more. The home had ample bathroom supplies... including cotton balls, qtips- even finger nail polish remover! You really didn't need a thing. Complete supply of cleaning supplies and laundry stuff. There are several outdoor spaces... we enjoyed the screen porch during a thunderstorm & the patio in the eveningsv that were unseasonably cool. They must use some type of pest control services because there were no bugs- inside or out! One of the best things is it's walkability- the great neighborhood for walking w/ many homes being remodeled or newly built. Less than a mile easy walk into downtown Beaufort with sidewalks everywhere. The Spanish Moss Trail is close & a must do esp w/ dogs!

This home was amazing! Calvin has a slice of paradise that we were able to call home for the weekend! His home was spacious both inside and out and the back yard was massive for our two pups to run freely! Neighborhood is super nice and quiet! This was a trip to propose to my Girlfriend and without this house I couldn't have made that happen! 12 out of 10 on the scale! we will definitely be back!

This booking was amazing - it was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do in Savannah! The courtyard was adorable, the historic space was beautiful, and Joyce was super communicative and helpful. Would 100% recommend to friends and am saving the booking for future visits!

Great location - highly recommend. Easy to walk to beach and all the attractions in Folly. We didn’t really utilize the outdoor space (it wasn’t super well kept), but can’t be the location and value, and I was very happy with the layout, amenities, and overall experience for our group. I would book again.

I loved this place. It combined convenience - so close to the beach and other HH activities - and seclusion. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with every amenity needed and I loved the screened porch. Suzanne was communicative and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tricia’s place and it was perfect for the two of us! The apartment was super clean and cute. The bed and linens are comfortable as well. Considering this unit is a pet friendly place, we did not notice any signs of pets being in the unit previously—that’s how clean it was. We found that the location was truly the perfect spot between downtown Charleston and Folly Beach as Tricia listed. Another plus is that Ubers are readily available and cost around $8-$15. Tricia and Erik were both very welcoming and friendly. Tricia gave us so many recommendations on restaurants/places to go to. I would love to stay here again and I’d recommend others to do the same!

The Artist’s Cottage was absolutely perfect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The decor and amenities were well thought-out. We had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t need. It was located in a tranquil setting but close to all the local attractions. An absolute gem! We will definitely be returning 🩷

Pelican Watch is a beautiful place on Seabrook. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the backdoor with a great view from the back porch. You need a car to get to most restaurants but great places are 10-20 minutes away. Harris Teeter is well stocked nearby with great steaks and seafood as well as wine. I’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent host! Perfect solution for a medical conference on Kiawah. Closer than anticipated, right down the road from Freshfields and Bohicket Marina. VERY quiet and peaceful.

While we only had the pleasure of staying here for one night, we would absolutely return for longer! Jaime and Marie’s place was absolutely adorable. It looked just like the pictures, had all the things you and your family could need for a beach trip, and had the most comfortable beds! The decor was picture perfect and looked brand new. Jaime and Marie were extremely responsive to all my questions and were very kind. I had a billing concern early on and they were quick to help problem solve it for me. Hilton Head is our favorite place and we come every year. We are thankful to have found a new spot we can add to our list for places to stay. Great location, peaceful, and a real hidden gem. Thank you for having us!

This was a great place to stay. It is very convenient to have beach assess and the pool just steps away. In addition, having restaurants on site was very convenient!

We had a great stay here! The house is comfortable, close to the pool & beach, with lots of beach accessories available to use. Check In/Out was easy and when I did reach out to ask a question the response was prompt.

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful oceanfront condo! This is our 6th year staying at Mikael’s condo and we’ve already booked for next summer! Everything about it is perfect: the location, the condo, the host! Highly highly highly recommend!!!

An incredible place in an incredible location operated by an incredible hostess! The place was super clean and beautifully appointed. There were two separate living spaces to accommodate two couples. There master suite is so amazing with the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water and super comfy furniture-we could have stayed forever! Loved it!!
