The summer house Flora is unique, Icelandic and old-fashioned, 12 km from Egilssstaðir, located at the top and end of the summer house area. Exceptionally nice and beautiful views of the valley and Lagarfljot. Birdsong, tranquility, romance and coziness. Flora is a ground floor with a sleeping loft. Downstairs there is an entrance, living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. There are 2 beds in the loft. All beds are new with good quality. Steep stairs up to the sleeping loft. Household appliances are both modern and old-fashioned. On the terrace there are chairs and tables.

The apartment offers an entrance from the ground floor and the first floor from the big terrace, that can also be enjoyed during the stay. Well equipped kitchen & very cosy living room. Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.
