Northeast, The Yellow Northern lights House.

Beautiful place and lots of bird life. Eider breeding right next to the house and you can get a guided tour of the breeding. Large kríuvarp in the area. The house is in a sheltered location and overlooks the sea and the Snæfellsnes peninsula is clearly visible in good visibility. In winter, under the right conditions, there is a great chance to see the Northern Lights. The house is old but everything is newly renovated. The loft has 2 good mattresses (steep stairs up). Bright and beautiful. Close to the airport, about 10 minutes (9 km), and a good swimming pool in Sandgerði (2 km)
