Our Scandinavian looking house has a very cosy country feel. It is situated in the Westfjörds of Iceland-which is like no other place you have visited it is untouched and breathtakingly beautiful.
“Le house is great, location is interesting, it is a nice stop in the westfjords to rest. We had a good time here. Everything was clean, we had everything we needed. Debbie is particularly reactive and a really nice person even if we only interact through text :)”
Íbúðin er á neðri hæð í einbýlishúsi með sérinngangi. Hún er 60 fm með svefnherbergi með king size hjónarúmi og stofu með svefnsófa nógu stórum fyrir 2 fullorðna. The apartment is on the lower floor in a two story house with private entrance. It has one bedroom with queen size bed and a living room with a sleeping sofa big enough for two and it´s 60 sq.meters. The apartment has been renovated so the furniture is new. To enter the apartment take the stairs to the left of the house.
“Margret is a very thoughtful host, who has thought of anything you could possibly need. The home is super comfortable and functional and the addition of a washer/dryer was an extra bonus. I had reservations as one bed was a sofa bed but it was super comfortable and also private. Would definitely recommend.”
We are a country hotel in a beautiful, rural area. We have an on-site restaurant and bar. Our staff will be happy to give you recommendations on what to do in the vicinity.
“This place was very special. It's remote - near the Latrabjarg bird cliffs, but I didn't see any other accommodations or restaurants nearby. That's what makes this place so special. It's like a rustic resort in the middle of nature. Birna has the hotel, campgrounds, and restaurant on site. The restaurant serves pretty good food, and the prices are in-line with other places in Iceland. There's also access to a beach from the premise. It's a very relaxing place. They also offer a lovely breakfast spread. It was included in our stay, and I was very impressed — lots of options—including gluten-free. If you're driving through the West Fjords and going to the Latrabjarg bird cliffs--I highly recommend staying here. It's very convenient when spending time in such a remote area.”
