Beautiful place and lots of bird life. Vascular warp just by the house and guided around the warp. Large crevasse in the area. The house is sheltered and overlooks the sea, and is well visible on Snæfellsnät in a good view. In winter, under the right conditions, there is a great chance of seeing the Northern Lights. The house is old, but it's all new. The sleeping loft has 2 good mattresses (steep climb). Bright and beautiful. Short to the airport, about 10 minutes ( 9 km .), and nice swimming pool in Sandgerði ( 2 km.)

There you can find ATM, bank, supermarket, pharmacy, resturants and other shops. There is also the town bus center (it is outside and there are no servicekiosk).
