We loved our stay, and Justyna was such an amazing host! The room was soooo cute and cozy, and walkable to great restaurants, the town, and a gorgeous waterfall! Plus, Justyna is such a warm, caring person! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, even when we were facing a blizzard forecast in June! If you’re on the fence, don’t give it another shot, book this adorable little home away from home! Thank you so much, Justyna!!!

My family enjoyed our stay at Gabriel’s place in Egilstadr. He was a wonderful host and the location was very central so great for our day trip adventures! Definitely recommend and hope to stay there again!

Perfect ! We only stopped for one night while traveling highway 1 (ring road) needed accommodations for one nigh. this place is highly recommended Good size for 4 people. Fully equipped kitchen. Made it easy to prepare meals. Clean. We needed a good night sleep and appreciated the comfortable beds. Full size Laundry washer & dryer was great mid way on the trip. Easy to find and would stay again

Cozy place with a nice view on the lake, recommended if you're doing the Ring Road

Perfect place to stay on our road trip. Close to the grocery store, restaurants and Vok baths. If you are a light sleeper there is a bit of street traffic noise at night but otherwise very comfortable

Tina’s place was perfect for us as we made our way around the ring road. It was clean and cozy, and Tina made the check in/out super easy and was great with communication.

Nice space and everything you need was present. The area is beautiful and easy to reach. Parking space in front of the door. Host was very friendly and helpful. We loved this place!

This was my second accomodation while staying in Iceland and appreciated the level of hospitality that they offered. The space had a great lived-in and comfortable feel and was beautiful with the amount of light that the windows let in. They offered great local insight to the area and it was clear they accommodate a wide range of types of travellers. Though I didn't make use of all the information and amenities, I appreciate the thought behind it. There were many personal touches that make it that much more memorable. I especially appreciate them messaging to make sure check in went alright.

My best stay in Iceland! beautiful apartment, very clean and organized,. If we could we would've love to stay another night! This is one of the rare places that looks better in reality. Jonas was extremely nice, welcoming and helpful, and Barbara's paintings added a dreamy touch to the apartment. Highly recommend place!

The waterfront location is gorgeous ! Our hostess- Syrri was incredibly informative and very helpful! I purposely booked this location for the waterside, gym, hot tub, sauna and pool. All of those amenities were included in our Airbnb rental fee!!!! This was day four of the “Iceland ring tour” and we all needed a little space and some downtime! The Airbnb rental is also across the street from the grocery store and the liquor store! BROVO! We had difficulties with our Van Rental breaking down. We had a 12 midnight check-in and Syrri allowed us to stay until 2 PM, which was so gracious🙏. We would recommend this locations to people who travel with extended families and friends! Pretty nice stay for 5 people. We had a great time with the TV and the nice sofa bed.

The room is cozy, and the hot water is not enough for four people to take a bath.

Even though we only stayed for one night, we felt very welcome at Mjoanes. Elsa and her very cuddly cat were lovely hosts. Also, the breakfast bread Elsa made is delicious.

The house was clean, cozy and equipped with anything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Everything was exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

It was a really nice apartment, with an amazing view.

Nice to stay in a large bedroom for 2 with a comfortable double bed for 2 nights. Kitchen is not large and shared by 3 groups. Tasty homemade cake is prepared every night by Elsa as our breakfast. You can use washing machine and drying machine free of charge in Elsa nearby camp site. Elsa is very helpful and reluctant to provide any information to facilitate my travel.

Elsa and Magnus's place was amazing! Elsa was friendly and helpful, and I had some lovely conversations with her. The room was cozy and very comfortable. I loved how it was decorated. It is very peaceful at her house and the surroundings. I am very happy to have discovered her place, and I will definitely come again the next time I am in Iceland!
