Holiday rentals with breakfast in English Channel

Amazing place to stay especially with the peach nearby and lots of friendly people

We booked a 3 night stay in the week. Harry’s place was fantastic. He supplied enough breakfast items to feed a few people, which was such a bonus . The house was lovely, really homely and comfortable. Our pooch was catered for too. Some really beautiful walks from the house into the woods, which we all enjoyed. The coast was about 30mins drive, which we did visit. One thing to note, some of the local restaurants/takeaways were not open until midweek which wasn’t a deal breaker but good to know. The Pig at Combe was a great place to visit and eat, dogs allowed in the Folly, highly recommend. Communication from Harry was great and we did get to meet him as they only live next door. We would definitely like to visit again.

Incredible suite, on our arrival we were greeted by Richard, very kind, good explanations on the use of the devices, very available, communication via Airbnb was also excellent with Pierre; responsive and precise in his answers. It's a little cocoon that exudes calm and harmony, we had a wonderful stay, very comfortable bedding, the ceiling height is also very pleasant, it's simple we loved everything! A big thank you and we'll be back!

We had a great time at Dibbens Townhouse. So well located - just a couple of minutes from the quay, and surrounded by lovely restaurants. The house is really spacious and very comfortable. Everything you could need. There can be a bit of external noise - both from people on the high street, and from seagulls - so I used earplugs as others had mentioned on the first night to help me get to sleep. It was much quieter on the second night. Definitely want to come back - sadly the weather turned so we didn’t do what we were planning to on our last day, and due to a recent operation I wasn’t able to try out the amazing looking bath!! Would highly recommended a stay here. Thank you for having us.

The 3 of us had a fantastic stay from start to finish. Felt truly relaxed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the Coach house was full of everything we needed, and catered very well for our 15 month old who had lots of toys to play with. The dog is great fun and friendly and its a lovely location to watch the many rabbits eating grass right outside the window. Will be back !

Christiane’s place was absolutely beautiful. The view of Mont Saint Michel was stunning. The house was very clean, spacious, and had everything we were looking for. She even had bikes that we were able to use! She is very responsive and was so gracious to accommodate our request for a late check out. I highly recommend Christiane’s house and I can’t wait to stay again next time we visit.

The stay at Sandra's was perfect, ideal for a romantic weekend! The place was clean, well decorated and well equipped. The apartment was well located close to the beach🌊. Sandra advised us well. I would recommend it 100%

This was a lovely place to stay in Bath! We were at the center of all activities and conveniently located to restaurants and the shops. Anthea provided a clean and cozy place for us during our stay, with extra touches like snacks and breakfast goodies. So thankful to find such a great place for our short time in Bath. The post code address didn’t quite get us to Steve’s front door but we found it without too much trouble. The property is large and the cottage itself was very spacious and comfortable.The kitchen is very well equipped and the welcome pack was excellent. There are a couple of nice local pubs and Melksham is close by. Bath is about half an hour away and there are a number of National Trust properties within a similar distance. A very pleasant property which is recommended.

Perfect 2 day stay for a wedding in the area. Kairen was super quick to respond to any questions and offered early check in if needed. Lovely place with every amenity we could have needed including a magical milk frother and some very thoughtful welcome snacks which were much appreciated after a long drive! Kairen was incredibly friendly and a delight to chat to, the majestic Percy the cat was also a particular highlight. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area, thank you again!

Beth’ s place is amazing. A calm and peaceful haven. From the thoughtful welcome card to the incredibly kind extra touches like bread, milk and eggs. Beth has created the most fantastic experience for guests. We had a fabulous 8 nights and really recommend this as a perfect place to stay.

The apartment is really perfect! Ideally located in the heart of Rouen, it offers a pleasant calm thanks to its location in the backyard. The decoration is neat and warm. The bedding is of very good quality, guaranteeing a restful night. Even though breakfast is offered, there is a good bakery at the foot of the building. It was a short stay at the top!

The cabin was perfect for the couple of day's rest and recuperation that my partner and I needed. It is in a very quiet area with a lovely serene outlook. The weather was changeable but we were able to both sit out happily or cosy up indoors if necessary. The cabin was always warm without any need to use the heating. It was also spotless with a lovely hot rainfall shower. We didn't cook as there were lovely options to eat out locally, but the kitchen was well equipped if we'd wanted to. The absence of a TV was as liberating as we'd hoped and meant plenty of time for reading, games, time together and wildlife spotting. The appearance of the very tame local foxes at sundown was a real treat. We had a fantastic reset of our minds and bodies and were sad to leave but happy we'd chosen to stay.

A beautiful apartment. Extremely comfortable and lovingly furnished. Made extra special by the provisions left by Wayne, most welcome after a 24 hour flight from Australia. I can only offer the highest recommendation. Thank you Wayne.

Another fantastic stay at Julia and Julian’s place. Julia very kindly messaged us enabling an early check-in which was wonderful. Lovely, thoughtful goodies welcomed us! Extremely well-equipped and spotless flat which is very dog-friendly. We can’t wait to return.

The Airbnb is peaceful and surrounded by stunning gardens which our daughter loved exploring - even more beautiful than the photos in real life 😊 Comfortable bed, with everything you need in the Airbnb itself and lovely breakfast each morning. Carol and Guy were so welcoming and we loved meeting Marv their dog, they were always easily contactable and gave us local recommendations. Highly recommend - thank you! Xx

Jonathan was a great host. I booked a last minute stay, he made sure the place was pristine and ready within an hour. I ended up extending my stay, which was quick and easy to arrange with no fuss. The home is cosy and quirky. Breakfast was amazing! And made me feel right at home. I stayed there with my 5 month old daughter. There was plenty of space either side of the bed for a travel crib which was great. The electric car charger was another great perk. Highly recommend!

A beautifully arranged unique house in the centre of Margate close to the old town, beach and Turner Contemporary. Filled with the energy of an artists’ eye and overflowing plant life it was hard to leave the tranquility of the space to eat in some of the great restaurants in town. Carlos and Sam communicated perfectly throughout and made us feel very welcome.

Staying at Crean Mill was a joy from start to finish- Grace and Steve strike the perfect balance of the friendly personal touch with giving you space and privacy…. The scones and cream were a delightful extra treat on arrival and the system of leaving the cool box with a delicious breakfast outside the room at a time that suits you works a treat. The room was beautifully furnished with everything you need and the garden is absolutely beautiful. We had a peak at the Shepherds Hut as well, which is also available to rent, and that was just as beautiful and very private. Our visit was based around a trip to the Minack Theatre and it was the perfect location for this, but also a great spot for visiting Penzance and Sennen Cove. Very good local recommendations from Grace and Steve as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!!!!

Absolutely stunning property, Janet and Hugh are the perfect hosts who made our stay memorable, we were celebrating our golden wedding anniversary and they included such lovely little extras which was so thoughtful. The continental breakfast was perfect with a fantastic assortment, the fresh bread each morning was delicious. Mevagissey is a beautiful little town, we walked down most evenings to eat, we enjoyed The Sharksfin. We visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan which was stunning, also took ferry to Fowey which was a lovely day, the walks from the property along the coastal paths are amazing, bit tough at times for us two oldies but we managed. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Janet and Hugh again, we already miss Mevagissey and will return.

Jo’s cottage is perfect in every way, so well laid out and excellent amenities. I cannot fault it. Jo has thought of everything and is a very generous host, providing treats and amongst other things, eggs juice bread and butter. Upon entering through a side gate it’s like stepping into a fairy land, a private and beautiful garden and a cottage to relax and unwind in. So well positioned to visit numerous attractions and beaches. The swing seat is a wonderful addition, on a summers day and well into the evening during and after spectacular sunsets it’s a great place to unwind and take in a a gorgeous view. ‘Badger Cam’ is a must! We saw them all the nights we were there along with a fox and this is a great way to watch them uninterrupted. I would highly recommend Jo as a host and her beautiful cottage you won’t be disappointed. We hope to return soon . Thank you Jo
