Castle holiday rentals in English Channel

We had a wonderful stay in this rustic farm with 6 adults and 2 children. Perfect for relaxing in the greenery. Also a very good base for day trips to the coast. We have enjoyed it!

Pleasant and well-located area. The mansion consists of 3 clean bedrooms with a bathroom with toilet in each bedroom. The living rooms are pleasant and composed of the necessary for a stay. A welcome for 8 adults and 5 children was very suitable. The host welcomed us warmly and his close presence allows for significant flexibility if we need to ask for it. The outdoor spaces are open but independent of the reception area, allowing for privacy and a large space for our four-legged friends. Thanks again for our stay.

Had a wonderful weekend at Northcourt house. Beautiful property with everything we needed. Clean rooms and a well equipped kitchen. Perfect when you travel and cook for a larger group of people. Peaceful surroundings and James is a helpful and friendly host.

An absolutely immaculate chateau in the heart of Normandy, perfect for large groups. We had 8 persons and one dog and it was perfect (with room for others if needed). A massive kitchen perfectly stocked everything you could need, was quite nice for cooking dinners. The outdoor space was fantastic, we spent each night outside. The living room has a massive fireplace that keeps the house warm if required and the chateau is perfectly stocked with wood. Location wise is great, a quick drive to Cherbourg and not far from the Normandy beaches or any other aspects of Normandy that anyone would like to visit. And finally the hosts are great, many suggestions of what to see within the area and always happy to have a chat. I can’t recommend this place enough! The only downside is you’ll never want to leave.

We had a great sunny weekend with friends at La Guimandière. We were able to enjoy the garden, the barbecue, the tennis, the petanque, this beautiful castle and the catering services for a moment in the countryside and in peace. A big thank you to François for his support and to Patricia for her welcome!

Amazing place to stay. The studio we stayed in was awesome. Fresh and clean with everything we needed. The grounds were amazing and we just loved the peaceful private spaces. Kate and Paul were the best hosts and they were always able to help no matter what. The chateau is gorgeous and we loved our time there

large quiet accommodation, very well equipped! the environment is great! Mark is extremely accommodating! convenience store. the region is beautiful! It was too short!

The house is very attractive, with modern, tasteful furnishings, a well appointed kitchen and utility and a pretty garden. The staircase is quite steep, but our three year old toddler managed it safely. Although the house is on the High Street, there is minimal traffic noise. The garden is sunny and full of comfy garden furniture. It is enclosed, so safe for dogs and children. Nothing to find fault with apart from the directions offered at the start. It is in fact opposite the pub - Kings Arms. Not opposite a post office, which does not exist !

The property was absolutly wonderful, the photos don’t do it justice! I particularly appreciated the garden with its beautiful array of trees and patches of forest. The estate was so vast I dont think we made it to the edge. The house was extremly private and out of sight of any neighbours. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, so were the beds. I was working online and the internet connection was good, even with multiple connections, with a very nice dedicated workspace. The kitchen had every appliance imaginable, with enough crockery for a banquet! While I was there the trees were ripe with fruit and we were treated to pears, apples, rasberries, blackberries, stawberries, grapes and more. The chickens generously provided us with fresh eggs every morning and the peacocks were not only beautiful to watch but also friendly. Not to talk about the wild forna including squirels, pheasents, woodpekers and other small birds… It was a pleasure meeting Philippe who not was an excellent host; showing us around the property and being helpful with our questions, but also an excellent cook, perparing traditional french food for us per our request. He was fun to be around. Overall a great experience, we are already planning when we can visit again!

Such a special place, out of this world pulling up to the gate and entering the fort, wonderful kitchen/living area and the rooftop gives great views of the sea and surrounding country park. Book it!

Very nice accommodation to have a good time with friends. Host available and responsive, location with a great view of the valley. i would highly recommend it!

This home was an experience of french history and luxury. We feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to live in this house for 5 days. The house has views of the the bay, and the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. We had a hard time leaving, and would return again and again if we have the opportunity. I will never forget this wonderful Manor. Elizabeth and Michelle met us and we loved meeting and speaking with them. I would rate this place a 15 out of 10.

Axele was very friendly and attentive with her communication. The place is very good located and quiet, good as well for our dogs, after traveling they could relaxed in the garden!

Marie-Claude did everything to be pleasant to us, installing an extra camp bed in a room because we came with 3 children and they didn't want to be separated. She was very kind.

Very nice place, very quiet and superb building. Very comfortable studio. Access to shops and the Port of Audierne on foot, 10 min. As Jean François recommended, a walk to do absolutely is the Pointe du Van. A little extra, stop at the restaurant "le pilleur d'épaves" go to the small room on your right and you will understand why the bay is called "the bay of the dead". We are fortunate to have good weather.

Our stay was amazing! The complex was incredible, breakfast outstanding and the hospitality superb. Highly recommend this stay and hope to return.

It's a beautiful house with a spotless host. Located in nature and very quiet. We can see deer in the garden. A few things to improve though: umbrella to change, two screws around the pool to be screwed back in full and replace some boards on the pool deck
