Cabin holiday rentals in English Channel

Just back from a lovely weekend away at Tom’s cabin. The cabin was in a great location, private, peaceful with beautiful wildlife surroundings. The hot tub was a real treat. Great communication from Tom during the weekend if needed, check in and out was a breeze. A perfect weekend for my wife’s 40th birthday celebrations.

Great place to switch off and relax for a weekend. Stunning views from the hottub. Kitchen well equipped, cosy sofa and plenty of blankets provided. We planned for a chilled quiet weekend, and that's what we got. Loved the horses, bunnies and birds around us. We even spotted a few deer in the rolling fields.

Amazing stay at the lodge. It was very private and peaceful couldn’t have asked for better. Absolutely loved being surrounded by so much nature really allowed me and my friend to relax. Hot tub was 10/10 and everything was very clean!

Annie and Paul were such lovely hosts! We had an amazing time staying at the garden hideaway! The place was so clean and welcoming, and they were so hospitable! They provided robes and slippers for the hot tub, breakfast in the morning, outdoor candles and disposable BBQ - They even let us borrow some ketchup for our burgers :) whatever you need, they’ve got it covered. And the hot tub was the best! Thanks so much!

Beautiful place to unwind! Sadly wasn’t as sunny as we hoped, but the lodge was perfectly cozy. Stunning views and the lodge has everything you could need.

Wow - the most beautiful cabin! The owners really have thought of everything, even a toy for our dog 🥰. The garden is enclosed which was perfect for our dog to run around. The hot tub was really hot on arrival, the bath and shower facilities are stunning. We will 100% be visiting again.

Simply stunning couple of nights away. The location is beautifully quiet in the woods. The only note is that it is next door to a holiday home so there can be some noise in the evenings which we experienced, but it didn’t matter one bit to us. Cosy living space and a nice comfy bed with a lovely en suite bathroom. The Chicken House is the best air b n b we have stayed in and we will absolutely be back to use the hot tub as we are gutted we didn’t get the chance to use it this time as we were too busy :) Thank you again for a lovely stay!

this stay was absolutely worth it, it was so peaceful and private, which is just what me and my partner were after. as soon as we arrived, all we could hear was nature and animals which added to the peacefulness. the place was very clean and tidy, with fabulous decor. few added touches by the host that made it feel like a home from home. we will 100% return in the near future, very sad to have left.

we were lucky to stumble across this gem due to a last minute cancellation. it was exactly what we were hoping for and more. the location, the cabin, the surroundings were magical and the break from reality we so needed. thank you so much Clare for all your help and for allowing us to see your part of the world in such a perfect way. We stayed at this cozy cabin in the woods for three nights, and it was exactly the peaceful retreat we needed. Tucked away in a quiet, serene setting, the cabin offered a perfect break from the noise and stress of everyday life. One of the things we appreciated most was that everything in the cabin worked just as expected—no surprises with the electrics, heating, or water, which made for a smooth and comfortable stay. The cabin had a warm, rustic charm without sacrificing any of the essentials. It’s also pet-friendly, and my dog had the best time roaming the woods. There’s no shortage of things to do nearby either. Whether you’re into hiking, scenic drives, or just relaxing in nature, the location has plenty to offer. We left feeling refreshed and highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind and disconnect for a bit.

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Stables. It was perfect for us and our dog with the fenced garden. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. There were clear and easy instructions to check in and out. Fay had left croissants and other bits for breakfast which were greatly received! Thank you very much!

We had an amazing stay. Location was fabulous and host could not have been more helpful. Our dog was in his element, great local walks and loved playing with Cooper. Pub just across the road was very welcoming, Locals were very friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The cabin is just utterly magical. It has everything you could need and feels like a little haven. It’s so beautifully crafted and kitted out. And the location feels completely remote and private. I spent three nights here just reading and knitting and never left. It was a deep bliss. Kate was super helpful and responsive when my sat nav took me completely the wrong way! And the cabin felt so warm and cheery that even in a rain storm it was a joy to be there. Thanks so much to Kate for sharing this special place and for making my stay such an easy delight

Fantastic little spot in a beautiful valley. Very warm greeting from Tim when we arrived giving us some insight about the local access for walking. Great spot to escape - very quiet and calm location with very comfortable accommodation with everything you would need. Definitely be revisiting !

We had a lovely stay at Kathryn’s place. The cabin is very peaceful set amongst the trees on the farm and has a small private garden which was helpful for the dog. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We had theatre tickets one night and Kathryn kindly offered to check on our dog for us. She really went above and beyond!

We had a lovely stay here! It was so peaceful and quiet—a refreshing change from our usual busy life in London. The place was exactly as described and matched the photos perfectly. It felt cozy, welcoming, and was well-equipped with everything we needed, from tea and kitchen essentials to toothbrushes, towels, soap, and shampoo. Heidi was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, always quick to respond to any questions. She even left us some milk, which was a really thoughtful touch. As city dwellers, we were a little surprised by a few insect visitors, but it’s to be expected in a more rural setting and didn’t take away from the overall experience! All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing break. :)

The location was great for the beach. We had quick access but it was far from the crowds and the cabin was quiet, with little to hear but the waves and the birds.

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. True to the description of the accommodation, we spent 2 days relaxing with nature and our animal friends (swans; coypus) that we were able to observe in peace with the binoculars provided. we expect to be back next year. thank you

Just back from a magical honeymoon stay at The Hoot—absolutely fabulous….. even better than the photos. The energy is incredible: soul-soothing, serene, and full of love. Every detail has been thought of, with quirky decor and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy, and soaking in the outdoor tub during a rainstorm was amazing. Jan and Dunc are kind, thoughtful hosts who give you complete space to fully unwind. Can’t imagine anyone regretting a stay here and we will definitely return ✨🌿🛁

This was one of the best stays I’ve had. The view was incredible and the hot tub was amazing! If you’re lucky enough to have the chance to book this place, I’d 100% recommend. Wow what an incredible stay! Alyson was super lovely and helpful. The space was even better than the photos! Comfy bed, fresh living area, it was just beautiful. Everything was super clean and comfortable. With Alysons recommendations we tried out lots of local pubs and attractions too! We even got to feed the alpacas too which was the perfect end to our stay! Couldn’t recommend enough, would definitely come and stay again 🥰
