Cabin holiday rentals in English Channel

Just back from a lovely weekend away at Tom’s cabin. The cabin was in a great location, private, peaceful with beautiful wildlife surroundings. The hot tub was a real treat. Great communication from Tom during the weekend if needed, check in and out was a breeze. A perfect weekend for my wife’s 40th birthday celebrations.

We had booked in for a very short stay of only two nights but we wish it had been longer, much longer. We cannot fault The Signal Box; everything to make a stay pleasant, convenient and enjoyable had been thought of. The exceptional view, the history of Luckett Station, the friendly sheep, the hot-tub, the superbly comfortable bed - all combined to make this an experience that we will remember for a long time to come. The entire property was beautifully kept, with immaculate gardens and a very high standard inside. The instructions for access on arrival to the property were clear and easy to follow and the business is obviously very well run. Definitely worth recommending to others and a return visit. Thank you for having us.

Great place to switch off and relax for a weekend. Stunning views from the hottub. Kitchen well equipped, cosy sofa and plenty of blankets provided. We planned for a chilled quiet weekend, and that's what we got. Loved the horses, bunnies and birds around us. We even spotted a few deer in the rolling fields.

Amazing stay at the lodge. It was very private and peaceful couldn’t have asked for better. Absolutely loved being surrounded by so much nature really allowed me and my friend to relax. Hot tub was 10/10 and everything was very clean!

Beautiful place to unwind! Sadly wasn’t as sunny as we hoped, but the lodge was perfectly cozy. Stunning views and the lodge has everything you could need.

Simply stunning couple of nights away. The location is beautifully quiet in the woods. The only note is that it is next door to a holiday home so there can be some noise in the evenings which we experienced, but it didn’t matter one bit to us. Cosy living space and a nice comfy bed with a lovely en suite bathroom. The Chicken House is the best air b n b we have stayed in and we will absolutely be back to use the hot tub as we are gutted we didn’t get the chance to use it this time as we were too busy :) Thank you again for a lovely stay!

this stay was absolutely worth it, it was so peaceful and private, which is just what me and my partner were after. as soon as we arrived, all we could hear was nature and animals which added to the peacefulness. the place was very clean and tidy, with fabulous decor. few added touches by the host that made it feel like a home from home. we will 100% return in the near future, very sad to have left.

After the chaos of a bank holiday weekend and celebrating my fiancés birthday, this peaceful and relaxing getaway was exactly what we wanted! The views were stunning, the lodge was immaculate and cosy, and there’s a lovely little pub, The Ship and Anchor, across the road. Sally was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. It rained both days we were there, but that didn’t dampen the charming countryside view from the hot tub! We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at this cozy cabin in the woods for three nights, and it was exactly the peaceful retreat we needed. Tucked away in a quiet, serene setting, the cabin offered a perfect break from the noise and stress of everyday life. One of the things we appreciated most was that everything in the cabin worked just as expected—no surprises with the electrics, heating, or water, which made for a smooth and comfortable stay. The cabin had a warm, rustic charm without sacrificing any of the essentials. It’s also pet-friendly, and my dog had the best time roaming the woods. There’s no shortage of things to do nearby either. Whether you’re into hiking, scenic drives, or just relaxing in nature, the location has plenty to offer. We left feeling refreshed and highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind and disconnect for a bit.

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Stables. It was perfect for us and our dog with the fenced garden. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. There were clear and easy instructions to check in and out. Fay had left croissants and other bits for breakfast which were greatly received! Thank you very much!

I stayed here just recently with 4 other friends due to attending a friend’s wedding nearby. This location is beautiful, the photos do not do it justice. Everyone was pleased with the property and it really did feel like home. 100% will look to be returning.

We had an amazing stay. Location was fabulous and host could not have been more helpful. Our dog was in his element, great local walks and loved playing with Cooper. Pub just across the road was very welcoming, Locals were very friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The cabin is just utterly magical. It has everything you could need and feels like a little haven. It’s so beautifully crafted and kitted out. And the location feels completely remote and private. I spent three nights here just reading and knitting and never left. It was a deep bliss. Kate was super helpful and responsive when my sat nav took me completely the wrong way! And the cabin felt so warm and cheery that even in a rain storm it was a joy to be there. Thanks so much to Kate for sharing this special place and for making my stay such an easy delight

Annie and Paul were such lovely hosts! We had an amazing time staying at the garden hideaway! The place was so clean and welcoming, and they were so hospitable! They provided robes and slippers for the hot tub, breakfast in the morning, outdoor candles and disposable BBQ - They even let us borrow some ketchup for our burgers :) whatever you need, they’ve got it covered. And the hot tub was the best! Thanks so much!

Fantastic little spot in a beautiful valley. Very warm greeting from Tim when we arrived giving us some insight about the local access for walking. Great spot to escape - very quiet and calm location with very comfortable accommodation with everything you would need. Definitely be revisiting !

We had a lovely stay at Kathryn’s place. The cabin is very peaceful set amongst the trees on the farm and has a small private garden which was helpful for the dog. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We had theatre tickets one night and Kathryn kindly offered to check on our dog for us. She really went above and beyond!

Perfect location with amazing view. The cabin is beautifully made, by Jeremy himself! Very comfortable, with all the kit and a nice outside terrace to enjoy those views. Walking distance down to the beach and right next to the South West Coastal path up on to Exmoor. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Just back from a magical honeymoon stay at The Hoot—absolutely fabulous….. even better than the photos. The energy is incredible: soul-soothing, serene, and full of love. Every detail has been thought of, with quirky decor and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy, and soaking in the outdoor tub during a rainstorm was amazing. Jan and Dunc are kind, thoughtful hosts who give you complete space to fully unwind. Can’t imagine anyone regretting a stay here and we will definitely return ✨🌿🛁

This was one of the best stays I’ve had. The view was incredible and the hot tub was amazing! If you’re lucky enough to have the chance to book this place, I’d 100% recommend. Absolutely blown away to be honest. The owl houses are stunning. From the overall feel to the small details they have nailed it.
