The »haus in spay« on the Moselle | with sauna

The "haus in spay" is a historic half-timbered house, built around 1545 in the Moselle village of Zell-Merl. It is located not far from the river at the foot of a sun-drenched southern slope on the Moselle, the famous wine region with unique Riesling cultivation and Mediterranean culture. The monumental ensemble with the main house, the vacation home and steep garden was extensively restored in just under 10 years of construction and mainly in-house according to ecological and traditional criteria.

High above the Moselle in the small village of Starkenburg, this cozy house offers relaxation for up to six people. From the rustic kitchen, the view falls through thick natural stone walls down to the Mosel loop. One of the most beautiful stages of the Moselsteig (Jakobsweg) runs directly by the house. Hunsrück and Ahringstal offer great opportunities for mountain biking or forest bathing. The subsequent Riesling can be bought directly from the highly award-winning producers on site and then enjoyed by the wood-burning stove.

Historisches Fachwerkhaus aus dem Jahre 1570. Es liegt im Ortskern von Pünderich. Bäcker und verschiedenen Gastronomien sind fussläufig erreichbar. Das Haus hat eine große überdachte Terrasse und im Keller ist ein Weinkühlschrank vom Winzer befühlt - einer gemütlichen Weinverkostung steht nichts im Wege.
