Beachfront holiday rental in Erie Canal

We had such a wonderful weekend at Chandra's A-frame cabin. The space was private, quiet and had a gorgeous view of the lake. We enjoyed kayaking and having a fire on the dock at night. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend with our pups!

My family and I absolutely adored our time here! Beautiful location, squeaky clean, and exactly as described. It was the perfect weekend getaway for the whole family. We especially enjoyed the lake access and kayaks!

Beautiful lake view. Our weather was not as nice as I hoped but we were able to sit outside and enjoy the water view for some of our stay. Nice to sit in the dining room and look out the large windows with a cup of coffee. Cheryl was very responsive to any questions we had. I imagine the landscaping is beautiful in the summer. We were visiting just as spring was starting so nothing lush or green yet.

We had a great time at the Cozy Cottage with our family of five and dog! Stephanie was very responsive to questions and requests during the week. The place is well maintained with a lot of special personal touches that were appreciated. Excellent view of the lake from the deck and easy to bring a pet. Also a great location for wineries and other fun activities in the area. Overall great experience and we would recommend this rental to others with or without kids.

So many special touches & extras. The fresh strawberries were amazing! All the lake sporting activity equipment was a huge bonus! The screen porch was the BEST - from the porch swing to the large table where we could eat & play games while overlooking the lake. Absolutely loved our stay!

Good getaway spot for a weekend in the winter. The area was quiet and private. Not too many people around which was great. Not far from downtown Lake George and 15 min from Bolton Landing. Place was clean and had everything we wanted! We will go again at some point! Beautiful views if you walk towards the water. Fireplace worked well. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean. All basic amenities provided.

We had an excellent experience… best way for our family to spend summer vacation. The home was a perfect fit for all 6 of us in terms of space and layout. We enjoyed the porch, pool , lake and all town had to offer. We will be back. Thank you, Michelle for being an excellent host !!!

Amazing stay! Exactly as described in the listing. It was the perfect location for us, short drive to both Lake George and Bolton Landing. We were traveling with our 10 month old and there was plenty of space for him to play. The view of the lake was 10/10!

We enjoyed our stay at Melody Manor. The unit was immaculate and had everything you need. The view was fabulous! We were there in the off season so it was quiet - but, just what we were looking for. I can see how this would be a great place to stay in the summer - pool, tennis/pickle ball, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Very happy with Rose and how responsive she was - will definitely consider staying here again if we are back in Lake George!

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and personally explained how everything worked and made sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the welcome of Christmas cookies and wine and thoughtful decorations for Christmas. The space was exactly as described—very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, with restaurants and attractions nearby. There was the added bonus of visiting deer to see right outside the window. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area. I would definitely stay here again!

Can’t say enough positive things about sunset beach. The home was very clean and super spacious. We had 9 adults and there was plenty of space for all of us and it never felt crowded. The home and grounds are clean and well maintained. The views are fantastic. Unfortunately, our weather wasn’t great, so we couldn’t take advantage of the pool or lake. We still had a wonderful time. Jill, our host, was great. Very friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend this property.

This place is such a gem! They thought of everything and so many special touches. We stayed here after taking the boys to Cooperstown for baseball and it did not disappoint. We hope to come again!

Lisa’s cottage by the river is an amazing getaway for anyone who’s looking for peaceful surroundings! This wasn’t our first stay, and we always look forward to fishing, kayaking, and birdwatching. Thanks Lisa again for a great MDW stay!

Thank you for our wonderful stay this weekend. Your place is the quintessential lake cottage. Everything we needed was supplied and at our fingertips, without being overrun with “stuff.” Well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. It was a cool, rainy weekend and we took full advantage of the bedroom fireplaces and extra blankets! Would love to come back to enjoy summer-time at your place. Thank you!

The apartment was exactly what we were looking for - a comfortably elegant place to stay with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The owners were so responsive, friendly, and easy to deal with. And that sofa in the living area - I could have sat there all day! We look forward to coming back in a year or two.

We had wonderful time on Gibbs Point! The house and location were just what we were needed. We loved being on the bay with Lake Ontario just a few hundred yards away. We spent a lot of time on water (having kayaks SUPs and a canoe available was amazing). Our teenage kids played ball and frisbee games in the lawn. We cooked delicious meals and ate on the deck. The house was so comfortable and clean.

My sisters and I had a wonderful stay at this lake house. Kevin was a very communicative host and made sure to greet us at check-in and even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy. He had many recommendations for food and drinks in the area. The house was exactly as pictured and the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The house was very close to a lot of the wineries and breweries and watkins glen state park. I would definitely stay here again next time i'm in the finger lakes.

The cottage was lovely, clean, and cozy. It was well equipped with everything you'd need in terms of kitchen utensils and shower supplies. The only thing I would mention that I didn't see in the listing or any other reviews is that while the cottage is one level (except for the few stairs on the dock), there are about 25-30 steps from the street level to even get to the house. Once you park, (across the street from the mailbox- this was also a little unclear at first, but Garrett was quick to answer questions) you will have to walk down those steps to get inside the house. It wasn't a problem for us, but if someone has mobility troubles, it's important to know before you go.

Loved our stay here! Close to fun wineries, breweries, and even a few restaurants. We enjoyed spending our nights by the outdoor fireplace. Waking up to the sounds of the lake right out our window was awesome.
