Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. In the Ripollès region, between rivers, valleys and mountains, the ancient Castle of Llaés (10th century) stands splendidly. A unique place, of exceptional beauty, where absolute tranquility reigns in the middle of an exuberant nature. The Castle has been fully renovated for the comfort required by the facilities for rural tourism, with 8 rooms, 5 with a double bed, and 3 with two single beds. It has a living room, dining room, kitchen, 4 bathrooms, garden and terrace.

13th Century Lakeside Castle, 6 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 10-12) Surrounded by seven acres of lawns, park and woodland, Carraigin Castle is an idyllic holiday home in a beautiful setting on the shores of Lough Corrib. From the Castle one can enjoy boating and fishing, walking, riding and sightseeing, or just relax by the open hearth and contemplate the simple grandeur of this ancient dwelling, a rare and beautiful example of a fortified, medieval “hall house”.

Coes Farm offers 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room which is resident in our Micro-Winery! We planted our 5 acre vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.

The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
