Alex is a true Scottish Gentleman, and a very gentle and well-read soul at that. Nestled in a small piece of highlands heaven, Alex's farm is tranquil (though there's a spot of logging over yonder in 2025) and the a-frame house matched Magnus's description and caveats. I could have spent a lot more time talking to the erudite Alex over a cup of tea, but he had sheepdogs to train! A wonderful stay indeed.

We had a lovely stay for a week at the houseboat and didn’t want to leave. The views and location are amazing. So peaceful with lots of birds to see and beautiful scenery. The sauna and cold dips were a great start to the day. Ulrica was very friendly and welcoming with some lovely recommendations. We hope to go back again soon.

We had an amazing stay here! Beautiful views from the pod and a great walking trail just a minute down the road. We had dinner at Bulmans and it was excellent and so close! Daragh was very friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean with fresh bread and milk when we arrived. Would absolutely stay again!

We loved staying at Anna and Oli's place! The location can't be beat with a direct view of Kirkjufell! The cabin and amenities were sufficient for the stay. We loved their friendly dogs and the several farm animals! Highly recommend the cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Great place and very freindly pealple

Incredibly beautiful, well-maintained campsite in a good location! Clean and tidy toilet and shower facilities. Very cute cabin and equipped with everything you need, especially in combination with the breakfast service. We were close to the Leaf hut next to us, but the other guests were very quiet so we didn't have any problems with that.

Nanna Maja’s Airbnb is truly a home away from home. She maintains her own farm and provided us with fresh eggs from her chickens and ducks upon check-in and sheep and chicken feed if we wanted to meet her animals. This was truly a unique experience for us in Iceland since you see so many animals while driving but aren’t able to stop and meet them. Nanna is very friendly and it’s clear she enjoys hosting and sharing stories with guests. Her Airbnb has blackout curtains which was very helpful for sleeping during the long days in the summer. Her Airbnb also has beautiful wide windows which are great for seeing the open landscape without having to go outside.

Perfect stay! Beautiful house with an incredible view. Worth every penny for the view alone! In addition to the hot tub and all of the great features, I also appreciated the thoughtful small touches, like sleep masks.

One pass. Finde very cool in the casita. To put a hit, the dry bathroom is good for a couple of days, but for a long stay with the heat and that would be a little more roll, it smelled a little. I miss some utensils in the kitchen but good what you need to cook and mount a table for two. Thank you Andrea.

What a wonderful and peaceful experience it was to stay at Emanuel’s greenhouse. I only wish we had booked a longer stay. His offer (and accepted) to pick organic strawberries from inside the greenhouse was much appreciated.

I spent 2 nights in the tiny house of Max and his family. The family is very friendly and respectful in dealing with their guest. I had a very nice exchange with Max's parents. The place offers a lot of peace and serenity. You can also do nice activities there. In particular, the fact that they offer bicycles is a great plus, as you can explore the surroundings without a car. I can recommend the accommodation with a clear conscience.

Stayed a few nights at the Black Triangle Cabin and it was perfect! Really relaxing, would recommend to anyone - especially if you love cats, old tabby came in for a cuddle and stayed a while which was just lovely!

We have enjoyed our night in this cottage to the fullest. The hosts are fantastic in what they do, fast communication and nothing is too much for them. Very friendly people. The place they created at the end of the beach feels magical and you can completely relax! Waking up with the sunrise is something we will never forget!

We had a lovely stay in the hut! It was the perfect place for us to stay for the two days that we were exploring Isle of Skye. It was located near hikes that we were doing and had the right amount of space for the two of us to make some easy dinners and enjoy some down time. Great view from the deck and loved seeing the sheep graze! Highly recommend if you are looking for a cozy, low key lodging experience.

Lovely place to get some rest and enjoy the quiet. The cabin is at a camping site with individual cabins in the surrounding area. It was beautifully built, very clean, and Mathieu was very friendly and helpful. Also loved the bio toilet, never used one! Also, the surroundings are very beautiful to explore. One thing is that there were a lot of ticks when you are chilling on the ground/ grass. So if you go take something to check yourself, felt like needed to be said so new people can prepare and check their bodies<3 For everybody enjoy the piece and quite!!

This place is incredible! Truly like a cabin from a fairytale - peaceful, quiet, very cozy and well maintained! Beautiful nature , most pleasant and scenic surroundings, an amazing place to escape to , when you are tired of busy city life ! The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming! Made sure everything is good and replied to any messages quickly and made us feel comfortable and safe! Highly recommend going there!!!

The place has an overwhelming sense of calm and quiet, plenty of space and light. We could have stayed for longer if we had the time, to sit on the cosy bench watching the swifts come and go, to see the sun rise and in the evening to watch the owl feeding its chicks. The walks to Alnmouth and Warkworth are recommended Amble is a pretty town to see followed by a fish supper at a great restaurant,The Fish Shack. Definitely will return, thank you Geno.

The Tiny House is in a beautiful location directly on the lake. The house is beautiful and perfect for a quiet evening with a glass of wine and a view of the lake. The host is friendly and welcomed us very warmly, we were also able to arrive 2 hours earlier. In summary, it is a great place to relax and highly recommended. From now on, we will spend a weekend there more often.

Elisabetta’s place is amazing. It’s set in beautiful and peaceful countryside and makes for an incredibly quiet, relaxing and scenic trip away. There is lots to see and do in the local Umbrian countryside, and Elisabetta couldn’t have been more helpful in offering recommendations. Elisabetta herself is the consummate host - very proactive in her communication, and does everything she can to help make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She even had some flowers for my pregnant partner when we arrived! Her son was also really friendly and helpful, and even came out to us with some ice creams in the 36 degree temperatures! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Ragnhild's and Morten's cabin is everything it promises: a comfortable and cozy hideaway on the fjord. The home is well laid-out, maximizing the views on the fjord, whether one is sitting at the dinner table or in the pleasant living room. We enjoyed sitting outside as well, at the little cafe-style table or on the bench overlooking the fjord, as we were blessed with nice weather. The bedrooms are snug, with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking. All in all, a wonderful place to spend a few days (or more) in a beautiful landscape.

Jakub was very nice and inviting, and communications were A+. Gave me lots of information regarding the area and things to do. Their flat was beautifully sunlit and spacious. I enjoyed my stay there and highly recommend to anyone else that is thinking of booking!

Romantic and wonderful spot with views upon views! Be sure you have a duffel bag to consolidate for the 250-meter hike down the wooded trail (no roller bags here!). Hot tub was nice and so was the fire. Great spot!
