We wanted absolute peace and a retreat just for us. We found all this in the beautiful forest edge house. It is really in a completely secluded location, the nearest houses are several hundred meters away. Rarely do people walk along a forest path about 100m next to the house, then you can sometimes hear human voices or horses and dogs, sometimes tractors drive or you can hear forest work. 90% to 95% of the time we spent there, however, it was really quiet and we could enjoy this wonderful peace that we longed for. The house is furnished with great attention to detail, very clean and you can feel right at home there. The furnishings are of very high quality overall and nothing is missing. We especially liked the tiled stove in the living room, which you can cuddle up to in the evening. The house has a wonderful view of the fields to the rear. It is an absolute dream house! We will be happy to come back.

We were together with our clique in the Suffelmühle and we really liked it. Despite the age of the house, it was really very clean and the check-in worked great. An absolute highlight of the house is the large living/dining area with the fireplace. Plenty of space at a large table for 16 people and also a lot of space for a cozy circle of chairs or a dance floor.😃 The area is very quiet and the property itself is really nice. Bad Driburg is 6 minutes away by car, so it's really relaxed for shopping. If you want to stay for yourself and have a good time, we can really recommend the accommodation!

There were three of us in the cute house and there was plenty of room. Perfect location right by the forest in the immediate vicinity of the Externsteine and a lot of beautiful hiking trails through the Teutoburg Forest. Unreservedly recommended.

Staying in this beautiful half-timbered house is always a pleasure. The house looks fantastic and is wonderfully generous. The surroundings are beautiful. Here you can stay in peace. From sunset we could watch deer daily on the other side of the emmer. Absolutely recommended!

Brigitte is a great host - everything was spotlessly clean, very well organized, stylish, modern with newly renovated bathroom. It has a magical garden that makes you feel like you've landed in an enchanted cottage garden oasis. The exchange with her was just as harmonious, beautiful and she was very helpful. We enjoyed every moment there and can highly recommend a stay (short or long). Thank you very much, dear Britgitte🥰!

The house is superbly equipped and offers everything you need for a stay. We were three adults and two children (3 & 7). The house was more than sufficient in size. The large garden was also great for the children. We would stay again anytime.

With 9 people and a well-behaved dog, we all enjoyed the advantages of this wonderful house. The wonderful baker is particularly pleasing. We loved it.

We enjoyed the time around Christmas at the place very much. The friendly welcome was great and the house was beautifully large and lovingly furnished. We felt comfortable there.

Very nice apartment in a "lost place", the building is very outdated and musty, fortunately you don't notice anything in the apartment. This is really super nice as described. However, you should not be prepared that you can cook well there. There is a double stove top with plug, the noodles have taken forever;-). Location is great!

The accommodation is very clean and very tasteful down to the last detail, partly funny. Everything you need is there. Katrin is very concerned about her guests. When it got quite cool again in mid-June, she turned on the heating without being asked and we arrived soaking wet and frozen in a cozy warm apartment. Highly recommended.

Spacious and pleasant apartment located in the countryside near Bielefeld. The environment is quiet with many hiking trails. We had a great time.

Ines' accommodation is located in a huge residential complex directly on the Steinhuder Meer. Kindly, the host has put together a very detailed instruction, so you can easily find the apartment. Everything was very clean, the covered balcony is a great plus! Right in front of the building you have your own parking area. If you are traveling by public transport, you have a bus stop right outside the front door. The water is only a few minutes' walk away. I felt very comfortable in the accommodation, which despite its small size has everything you need.

Tina, Toto and her partner are such warm, helpful and loving people. They were very compassionate when I had health problems and tried to make all kinds of help possible with a lot of commitment. Really a great place to stay where I was allowed to stay for 6 weeks. It matched the photos, description, and my expectations, and you really feel right at home. Despite the very central location it is really quiet and it offers a great retreat. Rewe is less than a two-minute walk away and the train station is also within walking distance. Only in winter now it was quite fresh in the attic, but it can be endured. I would definitely like to come back again and enjoyed my time there!

Super accommodation, quiet, clean, on foot Rewe, pharmacy and a nice Italian (Pippo) are accessible, so beautiful and relaxed for me that I almost preferred to keep it to myself as a secret tip... Thanks to the hostess! PS: Wifi also great, I was able to work super remotely!

Very nice apartment, in a secluded location. Super equipped, clean and a beautiful terrace. Very comfortable bed. Right near the Externsteine. Marion is very nice and accommodating. I can really only recommend the apartment.

We had a great few days in the tiny house. If you want to escape the stress of everyday life for a few days, this is the place to be. The surroundings are wonderfully quiet and idyllic. The tiny house has everything you need to feel good. We were spoiled with cakes and even got fresh eggs from the chickens home. My little son (2J) played in the garden all day watching the chickens. We will definitely be back!

Natalie was a very friendly and accommodating host who cares deeply about the well-being of her guests. Communication was excellent, answering questions was always very quick and friendly. Apartment is corresponding to the description, it is very clean, is attractively furnished and had the necessary equipment. We had a wonderful weekend there with a great accommodation in the best location. Direct view of the shopping arcade and Lake Steinhude. It couldn't be better. Everything was as we imagined. Even a gas grill is available on the terrace. There was really nothing missing. Communication with Midia went smoothly and one felt very warmly welcomed. We will definitely be back. Thanks!
