David and Claire's place is bucolic and serene. Staring out the back door was like watching a painting of rural life. We laughed as we watched the calves play in the hillside pasture. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated and very clean. You have everything you need if you want to make a meal. But why would you when you can go next door to their cafe and have the most AMAZING food on the Isle of Skye? My husband and I are tough customers when it comes to restaurants, but one taste of the corn and spring onion fritters, and I pre-ordered the cookbook on the spot. David's suggestions and the cabin guidebook were spot on. We hiked the Fairy Pools (get a midge net for your face!) and explored the local spots. Sadly, we had to leave our dog at home, but it is perfectly set up for people traveling with pets. I have already recommended the cabin to friends who are traveling here next year. I hope my travels give me a chance to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Tracey’s guesthouse with its amazing views. Had a great meal at the pub as recommended by James, and cooked in the well appointed kitchen our second night. We had everything we needed and appreciated the breakfast provisions so thoughtfully provided. Would highly recommend!

We loved the location!! The water right out back was so peaceful and beautiful. The birdseed at the back door for the birds was such a great touch, the birds loved it as well. Don was super friendly and responsive also. Would love to come back and stay again!

We enjoyed our stay in Jackie's beautiful cabin a lot. The view was amazing. The location was a good starting point for reaching the different sights on the beautiful Isle of Skye. The cabin was well equipped and Jackie provided helpful information. It was great to meet her briefly on our way out.
